good game
game is good but they have added too many ads. they are thereafter death about half the time, which occurs pretty often but they don't interrupt gameplay. the problem is when you get to the actual horror moments of the hame. Like in level 3, there is this whole atmosphere building up and creating tension and then you hit a jump a little early and you get some ad with pop music that completely takes you out of immersion. Honestly would prefer ads that came more often if they were removed from these sections. It just completely ruins the atmosphere and experienxe

… level 1, the part with the weird plank covering the exit after u push a box..? yeah, not possible. literally tried for 30 mins to try and get through it but no matter what u can’t even get to the “scary” part of the game. spooky pixel hero is peak and dere exe is ok but this is literally unplayable.

I had heard a lot about this, and yet I can’t relay what I’ve heard. The gameplay is rage game esque and the story (the one thing keeping me from quitting) ended up being quite lackluster. I liked it, but I just can’t reccomend it.

DERE Evil exe needs subtitles.
The game could be learned. The story was interesting, and I only noted two things that were negative. 1: I found a coin, and avoided it since there wasn’t a coin counter. I went back later to 100% the level, and it killed me. After analysing the internet, it turns out A.I.D.E talks to you. A lot. This leads into #2: 2: Subtitles. There are none. This meant that the interesting and enigmatic story had 50-80% missing because I could not hear any voices. If there were subtitles, I would gladly have noted 5 stars. Darius. Can subtitles possibly get added in some version of the game?

Bad controls
Could have more potential if it had controller support. Although the story is short, it’s good but the jump scares we’re not that good nor the controls, as I previously mentioned. 3/5 stars.

I’m just gonna keep it simple. This game is very beautiful. The graphics are really nice and it’s got a nice story. While, it is decently difficult. The biggest issues I ran into her how close the controls are, so frequently you’ll miss a platform because you went in the wrong direction
I really wish I could play the game
I was about 15 minutes in when the jump button just quit working on me. Please fix this, I’d really like to play this game but I have to keep restarting and I’m only on level 1.
Enjoyable story, but the controls really bring it down.
As it says in the title, I actually really liked the story, simple as it was. I liked it so much, in fact, that I was able to overlook the atrocious controls so that I could finish the game. The controls are so godawful that it artificially increases the difficulty massively, to the point of it being very frustrating. If you couldn’t tell how much I hate these controls, know this: I would have given the game one star had it not been for the plot that salvages it. Yes, it is really that bad.

Alright, it’s a platformer. Why does it need so much ADS? The story is good and all, just less enjoyable knowing every 3 deaths you get an ad, hopefully you didn’t only do this for the ad money.
Engaging and Immersive Game
Amazingly created game both in graphics and storyline. The graphics drew me in but the storyline and difficulty have brought me back to replay this game every year. I always recommend it to people. Many challenging times but it’s so worth it.
Why?
This game is stupid. The controls are so bad and it is basically impossible.

Не очень понимаю, почему в отзывах все говорят про сложность и интересный сюжет, но никто не говорит про кучи багов (персонаж часто застревал в полу), неудобство управления из-за кнопок на 1/4 экрана (может потому что у меня SE :Т) и их неправильное распознование (они работают только если нажимать чуть выше) и местами ужасный платформинг (хотя это субъективно). Игра хороша визуально, геймплейно и более менее сюжетно, но дерьмова по части технической реализации.

Absolutely awful controls
Who the f thought it was a good idea to put the left and right button hit boxes so close together that I can literally press on the right button yet move left. A “challenging” platformer is supposed to be about skill not struggling with just moving left and right at the right time. Beyond that the levels feel haphazardly put together with no real thought to how they work. On level 3 you’re already onto physics based platforming that relies on luck more than anything else. So far, unless the controls are corrected - not worth the time when there are platformers that make sure the controls are key.

I love the game its got a great storyline and it takes longer then expected I’m currently on level 3 and theres warning at the start that this game is rage inducing which i honestly found funny 10/10 would recommend to rage bait people

Fun horror game
This is one of those games which I loath and love at the same time. It’s fun, if you can keep your cool, creepy, but not creepy enough that I never play it. Good game overall.
waste of time as a concept
not at all scary. before people excuse this game with ‘horror is subjective’, just because you get scared by a jumpscare it doesnt make it smart, suspenseful horror. the platforming element makes all suspense become null, since the game is trying to pose as a challenge and not an experience. backgrounds dont fit the tone of the story. cliche story. only redeeming features are the physics.
WAY Too Much Ads
The game is good, but there is WAY, WAY, WAY too much ads for this to be a platformer game where you die a lot. Remove some of the ads, or make it less common for an ad to show up.
One of the best ganes ever
This gane kinda scared me at first and it was a bit hard but it was fun and when you get used to the character and the movement mechanics it get easier this is one of my favorite games ever i would play it again the only bad thing are the adds but you only have to turn ur wifi off and tats it and i gave it 5 stars because pf the end and start bc the start is easy but then is hard and good and i really want another game like this one

There’s this part in level 1 where there’s a long oak lying on a platform, with spikes covering the ground and rocks, I have this huge block but I can’t push it through the small gap and I’ve tried going through the platform but the spikes keep killing me, can you help?
