音声が再生できなくなりました
いつの間にかアクセント辞典の音声再生ができなくなりました。再生ボタンを押すと検索画面に戻ってしまいます。アプリの不具合でしょうか？記号で理解できるとはいえ、音声も聞きたいです。

High quality app - a feature suggestion
Love this app and the fact that I can use it on both MacOS and iOS - game changer. Developers, I have two requests for you: 1. As part of your URL scheme support, can you please consider expanding the query string support to include being able to specify the “Starts with”, “Equals”, “Ends with”, “Contains”, and “Pattern”? Without this control, the application forces “Equals” every time I trigger an OS-level lookup that is sent to the Dictionaries app. 2. Can you leave the current search dropdown settings exactly as they are in the app so that if a user has it set to “Starts with” and “Example”, should they trigger a search via Cmd+Shift+D, it leaves those settings as they were? Much appreciated!
廃止しないで 例解学習漢字の漢字なりたち
追記、iPadで検索欄にApple Pencilで直接書いて検索したあとに消しゴムのように擦って消すと、検索内容ページがリセットされない。検索欄は空でも検索内容ページには最後に検索したものが残ったまま。アプリの再DLで初期化。ここからは以前のレビュー。アプデで漢字なりたちが削除された。これは不具合ではなく、アプデで一部削除されるだけでは。アプデする前に購入者に説明なしは悲しいです。なぜ削除したのか理由を知りたい。なりたちがあるから購入したのですが。いつ戻る予定ですか？
ブックマークした単語リストが消えてしまいました。
物書堂ヘビーユーザーです。 履歴を消してしまうと、これまでブックマークした単語リストが消えてしまうようです。 単語にブックマークをつけて、単語帳のように使っているのでそれを分離して頂けると嬉しいです。

2026/5/3 タイトルの通りの現象に困っています。 昔の単体アプリに戻してほしいです。 2026/5/4 iPhoneとiPadで使っています。iOSは共に26.4.2です。 Wi-Fiをオフにするとアプリの「ブックマークと履歴を同期」も自動的にオフになってしまうのですが、どうしたらいいですか。 再度、同期しようとすると、データ量が多いせいか、とても時間がかかって大変です。

Love the content, wish the search was better
I use this app a ton. I especially like using it to search multiple dictionaries for example sentences. Sometimes when I’m working on understanding not just a word but a phrase or piece of grammar, it is really useful to punch in a short part of the phrase and use the example search mode so I can see how it is used in sentences. I’ve bought way more dictionaries than I would need for just looking up words, so that I have lots of example sentences to look at. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is sometimes the search is difficult to use and the latest app update made it even harder. In a game I am playing I encountered the phrase 私としたことが…とんだ失態だ… I wasn’t familiar with 私としたことが so I tried searching examples for としたことが. Only one result came up, and I checked all 3 types (starts with, ends with, equals) to be sure. This is cumbersome, by the way! I used to check all three by mashing the button, but now I have to tap into the menu and then select the search mode one at a time. Then, I changed my search to 私としたことが. Suddenly, there were lots of example results! Why did I have to type something more specific to get more results? I am sure it is something to do with the way the sentences are tokenized but as a user it is very unpredictable. Similarly I often do not know if searching “starts with” or “ends with” is more likely to turn up results for the phrase I am searching, so I just want to search all at once but can’t, and now those options are buried in a menu making it even more difficult to quickly check. Please improve the search feature, I have spent a lot on dictionaries and I don’t regret it but I truly wish it was easier to use the search function. お願いします🙏

精選版 日国とウィズダム3を利用させて頂いています。 スマートフォンはダークモードを使っているのですが、辞書はライトモードで使いたいので、アプリの外観モードを『ライト』に設定しています。 しかし、アプリを起動するたび、外観モードは『ライト』に設定されたまま、実態はダークモードになっており、毎回一度別のモードにしてからライトに設定し直すという手間が発生しています。(外観モードを『システム』に設定しているわけではありません。) このバグを直して頂きたいです。
Great for Japanese learners
For Japanese learners I highly recommend “The Wisdom” within this app, especially for its example sentences. I also like being able to search multiple dictionaries at once with a single UI. Good stuff!
キーボードが切り替わらない
中国語と日本語の辞書を使っています。以前は中日では中国語、日中では日本語のキーボードに自動的に切り替わって便利でしたが、最新版では切り替わらなくなりました。前の仕様に戻していただけないでしょうか

I’m a heavy user of the Longman Activator and I just wish you could add it to the collection, so I will be able to use it digitally. I’m willing to pay for it
使いにくい
5年以上使っていますが、今回バックアップをしてからiPhoneを初期化したところ、使っている辞書のブックマークが全て無くなり（想定内）さらに、新しくブックマークを付けようとしてもブックマークのボタンが押せなくなりました。 機種変更や端末初期化した時のアプリ内の履歴がどのようになるのか公式サイトを見ても書かれていませんでした。 辞書自体は良いし、すごく有用なアプリなのに残念です。
辞書では無く、辞書検索アプリ
辞書の内容を検索できるアプリであって辞書ではないと思って使ってます。 紙の辞書にあるような、「パラパラめくって目についた単語を読む」と言う使い方ができるようになったら、辞書と呼べますが、現状では基本的に「検索文字を入力する」必要があるので、索引検索の様な機能としては良いのですが、辞書をめくる様には使えないのがとても残念です。 意味を調べたい言葉に出会った時に、その文字を検索するのには便利ですが、「新しい言葉に出会い知識を深める」と言う用途には使えません。 パラパラとめくれる様になったら革命でしょうね…。

WARNING about this developer
Some users have reported here that dictionaries they've purchased have become unavailable to reinstall. I bought a Collins Spanish Dictionary from Cole Zhu Inc that had exactly the same interface as these ones from Monokakido. When I replaced my iPad and tried to access the app on my new iPad I got an error saying the app was "currently unavailable in your App Store." This is totally unacceptable for a dictionary app. I don't know if Monokakido changed its name from Cole Zhu Inc or bought the dictionary interface, but they should have given some thought to existing users. And SHAME on Apple for not standing by us and making sure that apps remain available to users who buy them. I'm totally disgusted after this experience. No wonder people don't want to pay for dictionary apps. It's really the worst kind of customer service, and it's about more than the money when it would be so easy for Apple to provide the app to people who paid for it.
Bookmark Enhancement
Swift and useful dictionary app. But the bookmark function seems way too primitive and 2 basic features are needed: 1. User’s note for bookmarked item; 2. Bookmark export as csv file (including user’s notes).

アップデートしてから中国語の拼音のフォントがとても見にくくなった。改善してほしい。

I only use this app to access the NHK pitch accent dictionary, I would absolutely be willing to buy several more dictionaries in various languages if only there was a way to export the bookmarks as a spreadsheet so I can generate flashcards from them. Instead I’m stuck switching between four different apps for all my dictionary needs. Please add this feature!
Best app ever
Best app ever for getting Japanese dictionaries of all types. Have bought so many and am happy with my purchase. Wish there was more fonts for all the dictionaries if possible, but other than that love it!
Can’t download any content !
Hi, I am a guy who’s currently working in mainland China. I love this app a lot and have purchased 37 dictionaries already, recently I reset my iPad and started to download the content again but I just can’t ! Each time I try to download, it says an unknown error occurred. (Btw there is a lot of storage left so I am sure it’s the app’s problem) Downloading has always worked badly .. but now it stopped working completely
Great for Japanese, but Missing a Crucial Feature
First off, I love that this app combines multiple dictionaries in one. For me this is useful because I first look in the 三省堂 dictionary since it is a bit easier to understand and has shorter definitions. However I often have to look in a more complete dictionary like 大辞林 for more complicated things. This app lets me do that with a single search! One feature that I feel is crucial, but this app is lacking, is the option to export your bookmarks. This could help users e.g. to make digital flash cards from bookmarked entries.

Amazing J-J Dictionary App
I’ve been using this app daily for just over five years now, and it makes looking up words incredibly easy regardless of the device I’m on. With dictionaries like 大辞泉, I love how it displays synonyms for words that I can easily jump to. It’s also fantastic for looking up individual kanji when used with dictionaries like 漢検漢字辞典. Lastly, I really like the bookmark feature, because as someone who uses Japanese for creative writing, I can come back to interesting words I found, in the instance that I want to use them in my stories. I would highly recommend this app to any learner of Japanese, especially those who are starting to use J-J dictionaries.
Unable to search words
2 issues. 1, unable to download dictionary via cellular. Only WiFi download allowed. I don’t have WiFi. 2, unable to input words in search bar. This make this app unusable. I’ll ask for refund.
IMPORTANT FEEDBACK.
In the OALD 9th edition, whenever I look up a verb, the “verb forms” section occupies the entire screen, so I have to collapse it every single time, this is PAINFUL! I would like it to show in COLLAPSED as default. “Verb forms” just doesn’t add that much value for it to occupy the ENTIRE SCREEN by default. So PLEASE change this. It would improve my experience SO MUCH!!! Thank you for developing an overall GREAT APP!! And listening to customer feedback!
邪魔な「App内課金が許可されていません」popup
親のアカウントで購入して子供に使わせたいのだが、子供のアカウントで使おうとすると「App内課金が許可されていません」というダイアログが毎回毎回毎回毎回表示されて非常に邪魔。（当然ながら、子供のアカウントで課金を許可するわけがない） また辞書ごとに別々の単体アプリだったのが統合され、目的の辞書を開くのに余計なワンアクションが必要で、とても使い勝手が悪くなった。
A step down from Daijiren
MONOKAKIDO’s previous Japanese dictionary app, “Daijiren”, was one of the best iOS apps of all time. It carried a premium price, and it was worth every penny. Now they seem to have consolidated many dictionaries into one app, with in-app purchases for each. This probably seemed like a good idea from a software development perspective, but it’s not so great for users. The screenshots show a user with dozens of dictionaries (even though there are only 10 IAPs). But I don’t need dozens, or even 10. I need one. To make this work, they’ve essentially turned the top of your display into a dictionary-switcher, even if you only have one dictionary and thus never need to switch. It’s just another thing that takes up valuable space, and makes it easy to accidentally get “out” of the dictionary while still being “in” the app. Also, it confusingly splits the settings into two different places. I never got lost in the old app, but I keep getting lost in the new one. Even the old icon was better. The new one is too bland and generic, and just doesn’t look like something I paid top dollar for — at least, for an iOS app. Strangely, the old app is significantly cheaper than the IAP for that same dictionary in the new app. So they seem to still be encouraging users to buy the old app. It’s cheaper and better! Until they discontinue it, it’s hard for me to recommend this app. To be fair, I probably would have given this a higher rating had I not already been a longtime “Daijiren” user. They already had the perfect Japanese dictionary app, and then they mucked it up.
best Japanese dictionary app
This is bar none the best dictionary app for Japanese learners. Excellent selection of JP-JP, kanji, and other dictionaries. I wish they also had an Android app so it could work across all my devices.

OALD
I wanted to buy it but noticed it works online. Why wouldn’t you add full offline support for this one? I read when I go somewhere and I won’t be able to listen examples only a word, why? I have a lot of memory on my phone and what use of it.
Good dictionary, OK app
I have the 三省堂 dictionary, and the dictionary content is clear and informative. The search in this digital version is not great. For example if you try to look up 遺す, it’s impossible to find. Once you learn from some other dictionary that it’s read のこす and also written 残す, you can find the perfectly good entry for the word. And the actual entry clearly mentions 遺す as an alternate spelling, so that’s an issue with the app and not the dictionary content. The slick search-by-selection feature is also very finicky in the presence of any inflection, often finding no results so you have to go out to the main search screen. When it works, though, it’s joyously smooth and fast.
Absolutely fantastic app!
Finally, a dictionary and grammar app with a stunning interface, seamless interoperability between the purchased modules, and overall terrific UX. Thanks for not including nasty telemetry or trackers. Excellent job. I've purchased multiple dictionaries as in-app purchases and recommended this app to friends interested in acquiring Oxford University Press dictionaries.
Cannot migrate from my purchased duct
Purchased WISDOM2 Japanese English dictionary for $30+ and now they deprecated the old app and offered a new one. Unfortunately I’m not able to migrate my purchase to this new app. Really crappy.
Great App, Missing Features
Been using this app for a long time, and I definitely think it is a huge improvement over the standalone dictionary apps that existed before it. The vast number of dictionaries available in this app is great too. I do feel that there are a few things that could be improved though. I’d like to see a feature implemented into the settings of the app that will allow a user to disable the auto-lock screen feature on the iPhone/iPad while the app is open. Sometimes I have the app open while I’m doing another task, and it’s quite annoying to have continuously unlock my phone while trying to reference something in a dictionary in the app. Most other dictionary apps have this feature, so I’m puzzled as to why it doesn’t exist in this app. I’d also like to see a feature implemented into the app that would allow the user to define custom categories with different groups of dictionaries. In the current app, I have to change from 国語 to アクセント to see the entry for a word in the NHK accent dictionary after looking at the 国語 dictionaries I have. I’d like to be able to define a group of mixed category dictionaries (大辞林、新明海、and NHK for example) to be searched together. Then it wouldn’t be necessary to change between the preset categories to reference entries in across different types of dictionaries. Overall, this is the best dictionary app on the App Store, especially for Japanese learners. I hope my recommendations will be considered for future updates, especially the disable lock screen feature, as that is the worst part of using the app in its current state.

Les achats intégrés (dictionnaires) sont chers, non compatible partage familial et vous devez tout acheter en double pour avoir la traduction dans les deux sens de lanague. L’interface date vraiment du siècle dernier (certains types de recherches possibles sur tous les sites de référence sont juste impossibles ici). Globalement moins bien que des alternatives moins chères ou gratuites. À éviter.

I love this app but the auto switching of keyboard language is annoying. If it’s a CJJC dictionary, it will keep changing back to Chinese keyboard but I want to keep using Japanese keyboard. Please give me the option to turn this off.
