Game is Great, Could Use Some Rebalancing
I enjoy the game. Has a fun repetitive loop. It's a bit grindey but you feel like you make progress... except the dark gold. The drop rates for those are INSANELY low even with a maxed out Holy Grail. Once you reach around wave 700ish and stagnate, the drop rates are SO low that you can do 2-3 10-15 minute runs and maybe get ONE dark gold. The higher tier upgrades require about 10 dark gold each so it makes it a pain to grind for them. This also means that the "trade" feature is almost pointless cause you're gonna want to hoard your dark gold to ever make use of the feature. Bump up the dark gold spawn rates please. ------ Next I'd like to talk about the new rivals and arena modes. Rivals is insanely unbalanced. The rivals you get are always insanely over-leveled compared to you. I understand the point is to level yourself up to eventually overcome them but the amount of time and resources you have to invest to beat them is way too high, ESPECIALLY compared to the rewards you get for beating them. Lower the difficulty OR increase the rewards you get, cause the juice is not worth the squeeze. The arena I don't have much to say. I can't really find a match and when I do get one it's always against a bot (and you can tell it's a bot by how they spend their skills or target acquisition).

Progress and IAPs deleted - beware
I left this game installed on my phone and took an extended break from it. When I checked it today, all of my progress was gone, along with the darkgold I’d purchased. Devs get one shot on that kind of thing with me, because of it happens once, what’s to stop it from happening again? At any rate, don’t get too attached to your account, it would seem.

Darkgold is too hard to get making it a pay to win game. Wish we could get bpackgold thru ads or else its too rare and needed to upgrade so much

Ads are so bad. No way to exit them until clicking 100 different things. Ad filled garbage
It’s okay, but if you watch the ads it’s not just a video. You have to wait and click 100 times before you can go back playing. Not worth it.

Crashes constantly
Not a bad little game but it constantly crashes or locks up after a advert has played without giving you the gold or unlocking the bonus level. This happens at least 50% of the time and has robbed me of around 500k gold even though i have had to sit through a multitude of 30 second adverts. As I write this it has locked up around 15 times in a row ☹️
Where is auto turret? Darkgold barely drops
I downgraded my star rating from 5 to 3. I started this game yesterday and I bought auto turret with the many darkgold I purchased. The feature doesn’t work, why have it? I tried to look at some tutorials online, but from what I read the extra feature was abused and you took it away. You all also dropped the darkgold drop rate. The game is ok, I unlike other commenters feel like you have to purchase darkgold to get ahead.

No support, not reliable platform
Played this for a week. Purchased items to speed my progress and drop the ads. Suddenly one day I open it and it has lost everything and reset to level 1, with ads. Sent a note for tech help to recover my progress and/or my purchase and no response.
Great game
I just started playing recently and I don’t know if it’s just me but dark gold seems to be too rare other then that it’s great game would be cool if you could prestige and restart from scratch (even level) but you keep half of your gold or something like that so the game is balanced.

I play A LOT of mobile games and this game is the best I’ve ever played. It’s got such a satisfying and strong progressive system. If you are on online or not I recommend this game 100% 5 STARS!!!

This game is good but darkgold is WAY too rare. It took me ATLEAST 15 endless rounds and NO darkgold at all. PLEASE make less rare.

Grind Defender...
...if you want to advance up the leader board you have to spend real money. I have reached a point where no matter how much I grind and upgrade, spend the little Dark Gold you are thrown, try different combinations of defences, sell defences to reinvest the dark gold into other areas, nothing works. I get legendaries but they seem to make little difference when every little bit you upgrade SHOULD make a difference. I am stuck on the same level and have been for weeks. I’ve upgraded, upgraded, upgraded but it still does not make a difference. I think there is clearly a point where they are pushing you to spend real money. I’ve already spent £4.99 to remove the adverts so I won’t be parting with anymore. Having the Holy Grail Level 3 does not mean you get more dark gold. Hard grinding should be fairly rewarded and every upgrade should balance out difficult levels to a point where you beat it. This game is really good but drops on dark gold and piddly difference upgrading makes turns me right off it.

I was on a really high level and the game deleted all my progress. Now I have to restart from the bottom and it took so long to get where I was. A lot of time watching ads wasting for nothing.

Yes it’s doing the same thing that lots of other TD games do and no it’s not really doing anything new but it is a lot of fun and very well put together. The freemium elements, so far, are very generous and not too greedy. In short if you like the genre give it a go I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
