Not really free at all
Advertised as free but I have managed to use up the 3 free bike routes before I’ve even taken it out. Not impressed
Useless!
After downloading it directs me to 'read licence', but THERE IS NO WAY TO GET BACK TO THE APP!!! Don't even try!! I'd give it negative 5 stars if I could!
Good routes, but sometimes tweeks are needed
I like the maps and routes, but sometimes you have to tweek the route to really get what you want. The UI is not that complicated, but it is also not straight forward and easy to use. When you get used to it, it works just fine.
Just doesn’t work.
It seems to have gained bugs that render it useless. It’s pretty much impossible to plan a route without putting waypoints every 300m or less, otherwise it automatically assumes you want to do a slalom through back streets. Utterly maddening. It’s allegedly had a bug fix done recently but it hasn’t worked at all. My version is fully up to date.
Unfortunately not quite complete
The app uses Brouter, which is great. However, routes around 400 km are not calculated, according to the error the marker is too far away. The route is not recalculated for subsequently added no-go areas (or I have not found the function). I also miss the detailed settings for the Brouter routing profiles. Otherwise, this would be the app for iPad that I have been missing for a long time.
Great App
This App is so easy to use and is great to keep a record and history of rides…love it.
Non-responsive
My MacBook Pro meets the specs stated. App is non-responsive. Too bad.
Missing a few minor features that would make this unbeatable.
App is brilliant but my main gripe is the missing ability to manually drop a point. Sometimes the pathing takes you on a huge detour to get you somewhere 5 meters away. Strava has the ability to do this, and being able to force a point somewhere the app doesn’t recognise as being accessible would be amazing. This is also frustrating as areas of mapping are not up to date with the app. With routes being in places the add doesn’t recognise. Second would be to clearly display usable / accessible routes as sometimes you only see routes when you drop a point in random areas. Otherwise a brilliant app that I’ve paid for 👍

Doesn’t convert
All that I get on my text when I share a route is a bunch of gibberish. Doesn’t work !
Good app
The simple use allows us to track our rides and also plan for future ones. Good job.
Simplicity is good
The simplicity is awesome on this makes it really easy to use. There is just two points that I can’t get over is the lack of undo button, I had to completely remake a ride because one of the way points was off due to the app choosing a road I didn’t want so please add in an undo button.

Can’t do without this excellent app. It contains all the necessary information for route planning.
No cycle routes?
There don’t seem to be any dedicated cycle tracks and paths! The only routes available are on roads in the UK. Shame as it looks pretty good😕
Pocket handy on an iPhone
Use it all the time for cycle route planning because of its ease of use . First class tool for the job. Only downside ; it's not always identifying main Sustran routes on disused railway lines and tracks . Frustrating when incorporating these in a route .

I cannot find any way of contacting developer to say I have not been upgraded. Just link to website and faqs. If I don't get a response to this review I will have to report.

Doesn’t do anything on the free version. Not sure what the paid version is like.
Great App
This app is great just what I have been looking for tried many others, this app is just for planning your route and giving you distance and topography.
I love this app
This app has proved invaluable for plotting my bike routes around London, where I live. I’m able easily to upload them to my Wahoo bike computer and simply follow the map en route. Plotting and editing a route can be a bit of a fiddle but it’s worth the effort. I’ve had some excellent rides using this system.

A really useful app. I definitely recommend it.

I relied on Bike Routes to get me from Land’s End to John O’Groats. It was excellent.
