WeWALK Navigation & Assistance reviews
4.3 out of 5, based on 387 reviews.
Cripple stick
Fantastic, so useful, never been lost once since using it. even after 15 pints of brown ale, I found my way home.
Absolutely not worth it
I downloaded this app as I have just purchased the cane. I cannot believe this needs an active paid subscription for the cane to work as advertised. We’re visually impaired, why make accessibility harder than it needs to be? Great concept but too expensive
Nice app
Has every thing you would expect in a blind navigator but apple watch is missing!
Menu buttons no longer speaking with VoiceOver in this app
Purchased a new phone and re-downloaded the app the menu selection buttons on the bottom of the screen no longer speak what they are they just say button button button and button please can you advise
Fantastisk navigationsapp til blinde
Der er vidst problemer i den danske oversættelse, men ellers fantastisk.
We walk app and cane user
The interface on screen to this app is very accessible if you were blind it’s a joy to use but the satellite navigation itself isn’t very good when you go off the route because you know a quick way it struggles to re-calculate a new route and just tries to take you back to the original route
Wants Waypoint Navigation
The app works more-or-less as intended and gets better with bug fixes, however I do think it's missing the critical feature of waypoint navigation, in the fashion of GoodMaps Outdoors and similar. Google Maps is fine for certain kinds of route but sometimes there's no real substitute for a custom route with meaningful waypoints. If that feature could be added then I think this would be absolutely the one app for use with the cane.
High expectations…..
i am blind and I thought this was going to be a game changer considering all the reviews. Having finally put the money together and bought it, learned how to use it. What a disappointment, I was so looking forward to it being able to navigate to places and give me instructions turn by turn. Dream on. It loves giving me places thousands of miles away places close by can just be ignored. Occasionally when it recognises a place I am struggling to get it to start navigation and continue giving instructions in real time. I say one thing , it interprets it as something else. As a native English speaker with an English accent in England. I’ve given up on using its navigation features, but hey it still has the sensor so the branches don’t knock off your head. It’s back in the box. Expensive door stop
