Great, but has issues.
It’s a fun little game. I find the art style and dark humor very appealing. The gameplay loop is pretty simple, yet still enjoyable, but it crashes very frequently and will randomly log me out.

Aggervation
I used to love this game,but now it wants me to sign in which it’s never asked me to do before and trying to figure out how to sign in has me just about ready to pull my hair out so please make the guest choice an actual guest account or add a Game Center choice because this is very aggravating!okay it’s been 4 YEARS and still no way to get in why do you want to know our passwords anyway?!

Ran into a bad problem
I’ve been playing this game for a little while and I really like it, it’s unique, I like the art style it has going for it, it’s very punny and gets a lot of snickers out of me, but let’s get to the main topic of this review. I have experienced a very annoying glitch, it refuses to let me check my friends list, no matter how many times I try to open it. I’ve tried turning my tablet off then turning it back on but it still doesn’t work, this only started occurring when I updated the game today. I would really appreciate if you fixed this glitch. Overall, 4.3 stars. Sincerely, Crystal Corpses.
Never again
Never again this is like my third time having to start this game over from scratch, when i switch to a different phone. I’m so Ticked off it’s not even funny. It doesn’t pull up the right account and when you try to link it to Facebook to try a recover your account,it doesn’t work. The game reset all my chefs and friends 😭 who I took my time to level up each. It also reset all my level 14 pots. It also reset my hunts so I would have to do those all over again 😒. I never leave reviews but this really hit a nerve for me

My internet is pretty good but the game would crash after like 30s making it impossible to download all 28 update files to make it playable. Running the latest iOS btw. Fix it pls
Very Complex
I am enjoying it immensly. Although it tends to freeze when I hatch an egg. I dont mind reloading the game but the opportunity to use the egg is lost. A bit frustrating when it tooks hours to hatch. My only other nitpick is the cost of everything rises rather quickly and shows no sign of leveling out. I can see eventually just giving up.

Nice game, good features and mechanics so that the player wouldnt get bored, but when I closed out of the app I couldn’t go into the game again because I can’t connect to the server. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, didnt work.
Best game
This is the best game because it’s completely free and it’s fun there’s about a Bajillion monsters to collect and you can make up all these fun recipes.
Extremely Dissapointed
It took me months to get to the place I was at the The vehicles on my ranks are complete gone . I’m not sure if it what is the new update or a flaw in the system but I’ve lost months of progress.. I’ve spent real money on this game and knowing I can’t get back to where I was especially by how much I enjoyed the game is very disappointing ... it’s truly upsetting and hopefully someone reads this.
Daily addiction
At first I didn’t really get the game but the art grew on me and I came to find it’s a nice game to login once a day share some soy sauce and cook some food and make a little progress, very friendly for f2p. I wish friends would show the lifetime amount of shared and received soy sauce so I can better manage my friends.

Pretty fun
A few interesting mechanics, but where this game really shines is in the artwork. Everything looks truly interesting and watching each farm’s different way of harvesting is pretty fun.
Please stop crashing
Very fun game, but for each set of “monsters” I have to tap a dozen times in order to restock ingredients, and there are many sets of monsters. If the app crashes this is all reset, even though the app is “connecting to the server.” In the span of a few minutes it’s possible for the app to crash several times, each time resetting what I was just doing. This means that I am forced to do this literally hundreds(!!!) of times just because the “server” needs to be connected to. Stop crashing. It’s fine to do busywork for the sake of playing an idle game. It’s another thing to do the same thing again and again for no fault of my own. Idle games should not force me to reconsider how I’m spending my free time.
Crashing Sim
I love this game, I really do, but it crashes ALL THE TIME. Check your friends list? Crash. Try and collect soy sauce? Crash. An egg has hatched and is ready to be opened? Crash. Switch between farm pages just a little too fast? Crash. Watch an ad to extend your explore time and or refuel while catching a monster? Crash hard and lose that monster; better hope there wasn’t an egg involved because screw you, that’s why. Decided to melt a dish without first closing the app completely to be safe? A crash for your foolishness and go back in time a smidge to before you did that, but lose your hard to earn spices anyway because, again, screw you. I have never, ever, played such an unstable game like this before and I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried every suggestion I’ve come across and nothing seems to work. I haven’t seen a dev respond to comments on crashes so I don’t believe there’s any fix on the way (it’s been happening for ages on multiple devices, this is not a new issue). I will continue to play, but I cannot recommend this game to anyone in good conscience. Wouldn’t want to be responsible for any rage induced incident caused by this game.

Addictive BUT....
What’s wrong with the game?? I can’t even play it because it’s saying it has failed to save files. I’m very disappointed because I absolutely love playing and I was getting so good, adding more monsters/ingredients, upgrading all my stuff and now I can’t even get on anymore. Please fix the bug, change the update or whatever it is

I love this game, but it’s no longer accessible to me. When I open it, it just says “cannot download save file”. It’s unplayable.
Best mobile app
Ive been playing this game since i was 16 and 7 years later it’s the only mobile game i play. There’s so many different things to do. I will say however, ny biggest pet peeve is not being able to search for recipes or organize it according to ingredients. Being able to search for recipes rather than scroll through a giant list, or change it so you can search through set list recipes would be awesome, but i have no idea if this game is still getting updated so whatever. With or without that issue, 5 stars. Best game. 10/10
Can’t log in
After enjoying this game for about a week and actually spending money on it. I’m unable to log into the game anymore. It tells me “failed to download save file” and when I tried to click on their app support, it tells me the page is no longer available. Incredibly frustrating.
Overall good but...
I love the graphics, characters, creativity and stuff but there is just too much of it too do. Also heavily relying on time/coins. I feel like the coins doesn’t stack up as much as I need. Like the creativity put in to it though.
My progress is forever lost
I enjoyed this game a lot and played it every day to become the best monster manager of the world. Unfortanately, in the recent update, all my progress was lost and all my hard work had vanished. It took me awhile to get to the position of where I was. I do thank this game for the good times it gave me. But not everything lasts forever.... R.I.P. Monsterchef, you will be missed :(
