Ampere: Battery Charge Test reviews
4.1 out of 5, based on 32 reviews.
What people like
- Developer replies to reviews and helps users
- Shows both amps and watts clearly
- Works well on older iOS versions
- Accurate enough for checking cables or blocks
What they complain about
- Takes forever to show any results
- Ads interrupt the test and reset it
- Crashes immediately when you open it
- Gives wildly wrong charging numbers
Works as advertised
Saw many negative comments, but that's the iOS limitations at play. The app works absolutely perfectly. Just start the measurement and leave the phone for a few mins and you get the amperage and the wattage as expected. Great app, recommended.

Works perfectly!
Short and crisp description. Works as suggested. Takes a bit of time due to iOS limitations but I am happy with the results.
Fake app
Not work at all

Works but takes forever.
I understand that Apple has done a lot of restrictions. This app works. But takes like 15-20 min just to get the results. And if you get an Ad in between, it just resets everything.
Good
Even after seeing all the negative feedback I still went ahead and installed it. It actually does what it says. Good app with decent data. The best thing that I liked was that the developer replied to everyone’s review and wanted to understand the problem for negative review. This shows that they have the urge to do good. So I don’t find any reason to give them bad remark.
Waste of time
I install this and it says it take time ti measure until your phone charge two percent atleast and i wait till my phone charge over eight percent and it still measuring and no result i use orignal charger and cable. Total waste of time

!!! Fake !!! SCAM !!!
It just keeps on running test for 5-10 mins and does not give result and earns by playing lot ads

No iOS 16 funcionava normalmente.

App Crash
I trusted the app despite the negative reviews and was willing to wait for a long time to receive the test results. However, as soon as I opened it, it crashed, which was really bad.
Must have!

This app needs checkup.
?
Waste of time
Pls don’t download useless waste of time
👌
Does not work
I waited for literally 20 mins for this app to read out some value and it did nothing. I doubt if this app has any actual lines of code that determines the amperage. Waste of time.
