Not updated enough
Breaks every time there is an iOS update. Takes forever to fix.
Crash
I just open the app and set auto lock to never and start working whatever i was doing, During an hour the time that was in the screen was going down minutes after minute and after an hour the app was automatically stopped and got me out from that face and also the app was not in the background 🙂
Pretty Useless App
Won’t allow you to set and save alarms, so pretty useless app other than as a clock.

Like the display
I like the low key display of the clock overnight- no bright colors, no scrolling ads. The alarm seems to work when it’s set to recurring- however, I haven’t yet been able to get it to go off when it’s set to “once.” Also, the Star Roof feature doesn’t seem to work at all, and the “snooze” doesn’t go off. This wasn’t really worth paying for the full version. There is no support for the app, even within the app, clicking on support only takes you to a generic overview of tips.

So grateful for your app that actually always on, unlike Apples “Always on Display” that should be renamed because it isn’t always on. Hope you keep updating the app! I’d love to see notifications shown. Thank you!!
No Response from Customer Support
I’ve had this app for over a year. The time started disappearing after a couple minutes making it useless. I purchased premium and searched the internet to find a resolution. Then I contacted customer support 4 times in one month with no response.
Why $4
It’s good but you have to pay $4 to change anything about the clock. Also there is no landscape mode which would be a very good feature.

Excellent and Free
It doesn’t work as a Lock Screen AOD, always on display, but, when you click the app, it DOES show a clock and stays on, preventing the screen from turning off. Excellent and Free. God bless you.
App Shuts Off
I have been using this app for years and some recent update has made it so that the clock shuts off after 30 seconds making it useless.
Useful
If you could lock the brightness separately (local to the app only) so that one can’t accidentally slide the brightness, then this would be better. I have another app similar to this one and I disabled it’s slide screen for brightness, because I didn’t want to accidentally make screen brighter and burn-in the OLED screen more.
Won’t stay centered
iPhone 13 ,app won’t keep time centered on the screen to the point it goes out of view .
Not working
Used it for years but suddenly won’t stay on, but goes to sleep.
Nice while driving
I like to use the when driving. A clean interface with the time. No maps. No distractions. The OLED stays on.
Stopped Working - No Customer Support
I bought this program to or three years ago and it worked like a champ. At night I would use it as my bedside clock. It quit working and I tried everything I could think of, reinstalling, etc. Sent numerous messages to customer support and never received a reply. I’ve read the reviews, mostly extremely positive, but either I’ve done something wrong in the settings for my iPhone or the app.

Cool app. But I wish it could just start after I put the iPhone down. Most of the time I set it down and later find out it’s gone dark screen because I forgot to start the app again. 👍🏻
My watch face is way too dim, can barely read it.
And I need to get premium to change it.
Worked great, not anymore
App worked perfectly until recently, now the screen times out after 1 minute or so. Defeats the purpose of the app being a AOD if it doesn’t always stay on.

Daily Tool
Edit: See original review below. I love this app when it’s working and I hate to drop the review, but a couple of weeks ago my wife and I, who both use the app as a bed/side clock, noticed that it stopped keeping the iPhone “always on” and it just goes to sleep as all apps do. This really makes the app useless to my use case. I’ll continue to look for a solution and will update when I (hopefully) find one. ******************* This app is my most commonly used, but I almost never even think about it, because it works so well. I built a Shortcut that turns this app on when I charge. I bought and easel wireless charger and put it beside my bed, so when I go to bed and charge my phone I have my bedside clock beside me. It’s awesome.
App now goes dark
The app was great for years but after last iOS update a week or so ago, the clock goes dark after 2 minutes. I’ve always had screen go dark after 2minutes but the app stayed on during the night…until last iOS update a week ago.

Do not buy until updated
As others have said the app turns off after about a minute. Useless. Waste of money. Nice to have all features but useless when plugged in at night. No support at all.
Always on display
I’ve been a Samsung galaxy customer for years I always got used to my always on display when I finally got my iPhone 13 promax and realize that there is no always on display. How did to be very disappointing and now with the new iPhone 14 Pro, Max, and it has a special screen for the always on display. I kind of felt a little sad that I didn’t have that feature but with this app that changes everything again and I love my phone again.
Uses battery
This is a cool app but uses up phone battery so much… I was surprised to see that my iPhone’s battery was critically low after using this app for several hours.

used to work very well, but now: not sure after what ios update, but the app doesn’t prevent the phone from locking anymore
I'll be keeping my iPhone 13 now
Thanks to this app, I have no reason to upgrade my phone so I saved a ton of money. It took me a while to figure out how to automate the app so that it would show me the clock when I set it on the charger but worth the effort
Garbage
The only thing that works on IPhone Mini 13 is the Analog clock. Tried changing and adding other features but nothing works, Oh and the Clock is tiny. This App is Useless…… There is not even Weather as advertised and I had to pay for this crap!!
Amazing
It works great and I use it all the time, I love how you can control the brightness too but it gets annoying when I have to change it to the right brightness so a feature where you can lock the brightness you want would be great. My biggest issue is the settings button, I wish that there was a setting to get rid of the button and to actually get to the setting hold the screen for a certain amount of time or something like that. Other than that this app is spectacular.
Battery drainer
Not optimized for iOS 16, it drained my battery 30% overnight’ usually my battery drains by 2 percent overnight.
Could be improved
I live the app, but the time is a little off for me. But otherwise, it has great features and it looks nice

It would be really nice if the icon of the app also matches with the screen inside it
Clock disappears into bottom of screen
OLEDX was great at first. Now the clock, date and battery info slowly disappear into the bottom of the screen until the screen is black. The clock should only move in the middle of the screen.

It is observed that the date is not updated well on all days. It needs fixing Otherwise it is fantastic app.
Missing feature
Unable to have it go into app as sleep mode or set time of the day when app automatically gets launched.

Old iPhones don’t have iOS 17 which means no standby mode but this works ok instead of some other apps I’ve used

Update features
It is good app but requires additional features like it should work after screen lock so once phone unlocked one can use other apps. Another feature which can be added is calendar. Kindly update these features.

How can this be used as AOD night light as I sleep? Automatically. Don’t want to start it as an app every single time.
