- Video upscaling is painfully slow and unreliable
- Makes colors look washed out on some images
BEST POSSIBLE IPHONE QUALITY!!!!
Honestly I am very impressed! I have been using this for about 2 years and honestly I have never used a better quality upscale. It’s like 8k but on mobile devices. I am so thankful for this app.

Greedy
Greedy dev, charging for features free in the version they ripped and called their own. Super entitled in their dev replies, maybe if they weren’t I’d consider supporting it anyway lol. Dev is charging you a convenience fee for something that’s free. If you don’t mind that, it technically works. Speed is ok but that’s by no fault of the “magic” since again this is repackaged FOSS. (not to take away from the effort they put into this gui, they did do work). $7 if you want to use any real upscaling model. Worth it perhaps, but in my opinion the M chips just aren’t fast enough to justify charging for it. Edit: I’ve softened my stance a little. I paid the $7 more out of curiosity than anything. It’s still not worth it. The models are good and it does work, speed is…. Fine, unimpressive (m4, but on an air). I wish I had realized that unlike waifu2x proper, there is no interpolation here. Now honestly, that’s more inconvenient than disappointing. Part of why my stance has softened is that getting waifu2x or any upscale (gan models etc) is a pain in the neck on Mac. They’re also highly unstable so, this does get points for so far having been very stable. The lack of rife/interpolation is less of an issue because I’ve not had an issue using interpolation software on Mac like I have video upscalers. Your other options would be software that cost $100 or more typically. So for $7 as a convenience fee? Meh. It’s fine. Slow, but acceptable as I’ve said, but god it is slow (if you know, you know, these scalers are always glacial even on proper GPUs)… but fine. Ram usage is good, description doesn’t lie about it being optimized. I do however think that charging extra to use custom models is still a bit greedy. Why charge? No reason but $$$ Whatever though, dev is allowed to earn their bread too.
I wish more people knew about this app
I've been using this little side branch of upscaling for probably over 7 years now, never used anything else. Everything else follows this nauseating standard/framework of being loaded to the brim with ads, begging the user to enter a subscription model, and yet still gives poor outputs that are usually way over processed or try to do that terrible facial reconstruction. Yet with this app I literally make a one time, few dollar purchase and have full access to every model permanently. It's extremely refreshing to find something that was actually streamlined properly.
浪费48块钱
垃圾，画质差，不真实，速度极慢，完全无法用。
Takes to long
The thing is when I need to edit immediately and I try upscale it annoys me cuz lets me real this thing is better than topaz but it takes just as long so I’m not complaining it’s good but its not perfect
Please help
I bought the Real-ESRGAN it worked for a day but it’s making me do the trial thing again. Please tell me how to fix this problem please and thank you.
很不好用 還是沒辦法把畫質用更進一步細膩
………
hmmmm
is there Any Major update soon!?
pretty bad
most of the time when I try to save a video that is over 50 mb it says there is an unknown error
Great Upscaler
Tinkered around with different presets, it’s a great upscaler for Sims 4 footage, a bargain at £6.99, my only complaint is that it does cause a washed out effect with colour. Support are responsive and helpful, offering solutions. Definitely worth a try.
It takes very long to process a video
Hello, I am trying to upscale a video which is about 19 seconds long, and it takes about 1 hour! I am very upset about this. I wish you could do something about this.
Why doesn’t it tell u that u that u have 2 pay for almost everything
Frm what I have seen the results are really good but everything is paid and it doesn’t tell u that but it’s a good app
Fantastic
Absolutely fantastic app, gets the upscales done with very high quality, especially when used with anime, highly recommend.
nothing changes
i chose my settings and when the video finishes saving there’s no upscale it’s just the same.

Needs Work
This MacOS app does the basic functions as expected however there is no information on how to upgrade or how get the full version despite the app clearly stating that upgrade as possible and that it will remove the "trial "labeling to provide full feature set. ***In the developer response, they state there is no full version yet in their very own app it's littered with gold lettered "trial" badges on different options and there's literally a paragraph description claiming that you have to upgrade to get the full version. So clearly this developer doesn't even know what's in his own app!! In addition reviewing an app it's not complaining. It's called a reviewing. Perhaps being less offended and more knowledgeable about your own app would benefit you greatly and provide a better product for users.

Great App
This app is still awesome! I use it almost every day. It really helps make images look like high-resolution wallpapers!
Not the best
I hope the developer release more models for photos. Even the sharpest one isn’t even sharp.. but I paid for it because I can see it improving with future updates! Keeps crashing and overheating my iPad.
Pretty great!
Works pretty great. Lots of options. I bought the additional models. I would give 5 stars but it uses the old photo picker API that requires me to change the photo library access inconveniently. Much needed request: please use the PHPicker API instead of the old UIImagePickerController. That way I don't need to expose my full photo library to the app, and I can conveniently select photos without having to constantly change the limited photo library selection in the settings. If you did that this would definitely be a 5 star app, but until then it is a major inconvenience to have to do that.
cant save the product
quality is good but doesnt let me save/export the product
一直很好用，直到10月份
Real-CUGAN模型一开始就闪退，iMac Pro（Intel），macOS 15。好像你发布了几个版本都没解决这个问题。
刚刚付费完毕，就又提示要解锁额外模块，什么鬼

Clean interface and fantastic results.
Does what it says on the tin really well
Definitely want my money back
Do not use it doesn’t enhance quality of photos or videos
problem
i upscaled my video but the quality didn’t seem to change what should i do?
Model Loading Time Problems
I have been using Waifu2x in IOS for years now with its latest updates and the various improved scaler models but never I had any issues before of literally waiting for them to even start processing the image file regardless of what resolution it is up until just recently. Whenever I refresh the app or turn on my moderately powerful hardware iPhone, it always loads the chosen models first every single time. The main issue is that it takes over a minute just to finish loading a model. I have been using practically the same exact settings before and after I upgraded to a new phone yet it doesn’t make a dent in the annoying long loading times. It’s not something that brakes the app for its main purpose on what is trying to do but hopefully, this will get patched soon and it’ll make it easier for us to not wait this long to change even over a single image/video than it should. Around five-second load times when choosing a model at least would be very much tolerable regardless that the software app didn’t have any loading times before I made this review.
Amazing.
I use this app to increase the quality of my edits and they look very good, I was trying out the app and I had a very blurry picture where it was pixeled and it came out very clear which was surprising.
新版太不友好

I want to import more models from the wiki but it won’t work
Is there a way to convert the models so that they can be used on the app? Or is it simply not possible.
Why won’t it work?
Hey, so I downloaded this app think that maybe it’s able to upscale clips. But no, it just won’t work for me. It shows the same message every single time, “video resolution output too high” or something like that. Is there a way to fix that?
Makes ugly things pretty
Would recommend for photo editing & cleaning if you want to go the extra step buy the 6.99 deal & get everything permanently I genuinely recommend it - 0
Too many glitches
I can’t even see the pictures after I try to upscale them
Yo
So the app good but y’all need to fix this issue I ain’t when I leave the app for a couple of seconds the download stop working and resets make it so I could leave the app and return and the file is still downloading please other than that great app.
不能用
點了更新之後沒用，還是一直跑出更新要按。然後進到app裡面加強畫質，按完之後加強完的圖片直接變成死圖根本看不到…..
Great
Best upscaler I’ve ever used
Rubbish
The completely rubbish app will not allow you to even test it without purchase absolute rubbish avoid
