bait and switch
now this app, which has long been everyone's go-to for quick crypto updates, has a forced advertisement at load with a close x that takes you to the advertisers website instead of closing the ad. The ad is forced and cannot be closed for a few seconds each time the app is loaded. Time to move on; modern advertising greed has corrupted this once-useful market tool.
Change the profile look
When you click on a suggested profile it shows the articles or the old posts, idk. Then you have to go directly to the profile and it shows new posts. So annoying and simple to use bug. Please fix it And i would hide any suggested profiles which haven’t posted for at least 4 weeks. Many profiles are dead and haven’t posted for months. Why do they still getting recommended
Scroll jump
Great app, please get rid of the “jump” down as you scroll down. Just make it a smooth scroll down like it used to be. It’s just at the very beginning as you scroll down past the top 6 coins it jumps down. AND it jumps up in a jarring way when you scroll up!

Too much
CMC has been great for years but the recent update takes away an important part of the app in my opinion. Community has always been recent posts about the particular coin you’re looking at and then the overall community posts which are typically bitcoin related or other very popular topics. Now the app rids of coin specific discussions and replaces it with the infamous “algorithm” to give you a feed “for you” which to me is a great way to psyop the general public. Now this app is only good for charts. Still love the charts but I’m disappointed they chose to add noise to an already noisy space. I’ll take it as a bottom signal.

Annoying ads on the mobile version
Please removed the ads for the mobile version, it’s annoying! Why the web version doesn’t have ads? But the mobile app have them? Make it clean and remove ads, thanks!

Useful app but could be better
CMC is very useful indeed but it’s not great at portfolio tracking, mostly due to the fact that you can’t remove/ignore scam tokens from your portfolio, which messes up your holding value. According to CMC app I am a millionaire! Please consider allowing to ignore/hide scam tokens so we can have a realistic holding value, otherwise it’s basically pointless tracking it in the first place

Data not safe
Based on the numerous phishing emails I have been receiving, it is easy to trace the source back to CMC. The app isn’t useful enough to expose yourself to phishing and malware. I am glad I only used this particular email only once or I would have never caught it.
Best of the best. Portfolio tracker needs more options though.
No better app for tracking the crypto markets out there. With the portfolio tracker please add the ability to filter out certain tokens - for example scam or spam tokens send to my EVM address - that I don’t want shown in my portfolio or included in the value. More Home Screen widget options and customizations as well please. A small square size watchlist tracker would be great.

The ads they’ve added recently when I just want to check the BTC price has made it unusable for me. Deleted

Now with unwanted pop-up ads
The latest forced update now has pop-up ads on app start, and ads all over the place. Nobody wants ads thrown at them, we get enough of those everywhere else. This also means that all of the marketing companies displaying ads are receiving your cookies and other private data that your device stores. They will sell share and trade that data to anyone who pays for it. This also means that if you accidentally click on one of these ads, you could be taken to a malicious website that these shady ad companies have now woven into the app. This could compromise the security of your device, potentially allowing bad actors to run malicious code on your device. Bad move CoinMarketCap. Not using your app anymore.
Widget does not work with tinted icons
The widget gets blank once you customise icons to be tinted on iOS or iPadOS.
Portfolio
You create a portfolio in a different currency but then when you click the token and then portfolio it is in USD please fix this!
Sadly the font size lets it down
I have been an iPhone user for many years. In that time I have used hundreds of apps. I have also worked for more than two decades in web/tech companies, so I understand concepts like accessibility. Now that I’m a bit older I need to use reading glasses sometimes. And the only situation I have come across where, despite using my reading glasses I can still hardly read the text, is the CoinMarketCap app. I’ve been in and out of the settings looking for some way to increase the font size, but without success. So sadly this now means I can hardly use the app, and am pushed towards the other apps on the market that are not developed by, and for, 20 year olds with 20/20 vision.

They forced me to update and after I did I noticed there were ads all over the place. No thanks, uninstalling Like there aren't 40 million other apps that can show me charts
Great but no Portfolio duplication
Great app that just does what it says, tracks crypto and allows you to create a portfolio of crypto you own With crypto history so you can see profit & loss. Great. However there is no facility to copy paste manually entered transactions into a new portfolio, you have to do it by hand, review loses a star for that.
