Challenging until you hit the wall and get cheated
I’m stuck on level 10 ladder & 17 hard because the game escalates enemy difficulty too quickly without allowing players to buy the upgrades necessary to beat the tougher enemies. I unfortunately gave this developer money and have no way to complain about the game except leaving a bad review

Fun to play but progression is too hard
Getting all the stars on the medium and hard levels is easy enough and fun to do. The problem is with the upgrades, if you want to achieve everything in the game then you have to get to complete level 791 in ladder mode which is very hard and the difficulty increases more than the upgrades you can get so by about level 30, it’s impossible to win. Also, there’s no way to unlock the fourth gem slot.

Re: Other reviews. Manual seems sufficient, so the developer must of updated that. Please make it so ‘music’ can be turned off separately. The all or nothing with sound is annoying because the sound effects are good but we wish to listen to our own music. Thanks! Works great on the iPad and trackpad. I would play more but the background music is annoying. FYI: Link to app support goes to a broken web page.

Armor penetration foes not work!!!
Rubies does not help to penetrate energy armor, and prism towers does not seam to make noticeably more damage to it. Please, fix the ruby bug
Smooth but simple
I’m giving this 5 stars for nostalgia, but I’d like to see more of an open map version where you can really build a maze, like the original GemTD WCIII mod.

Fun game
Fun game! Not as fun as geodefense and doesn’t give tips or instructions how to play. I am figuring it out
Don’t waste your money
After level 31 it is near impossible to progress further (even after purchasing gems). For every level you advance the approaching enemies seem to have jump up 5 times. Play it for free and quit once you feel the urge to spend money. Trust me it doesn’t get better beyond that point.

Another good tower defense
Not as visually pleasing as other tower games but just as good. With gems and upgrades that give abilities and skills it adds a good amount of playability.

I am a tower defense addict that doesn’t need to go to leaderboards and get elaborate in schemes of play. This one is direct and enjoyable just playing by myself and strategizing. It has enough weapons to think it out and come up with different ways to beat each level. Great for pastime. That being said, I am only on level 3. LOL. I wanted the 1200 gems.

Fun up to level 4
I really got into this tower defense game so much so that I paid $5 for upgrade crystals. But my enjoyment came from the first 4 levels. I was able to play those levels without damage and played them over and over. However, level 5 lost me and I haven’t even bothered with the game since. The difficulty wildly ramped up from level 4 to level 5 so much so that with all my weapons at “Max” upgrade, I still was not able to get through it without severe damage no matter what I did. So I saw no point going any further in the game. Be advised, don’t waste any money on upgrade crystals because they won’t help after level 4.

Addicting - Sparse Documentation
I really enjoy playing the game, and have completed all 30 levels on both medium and hard mode. On ladder mode, though, I’ve been stuck at one level and have been totally unable to move past it. What would have given this game five stars? 1 - Better documentation. What’s there is sparse, not overly clear, and doesn’t fully document the game. 2 - Need more medium and hard levels past 30. Otherwise, I like the game.

Very very fun game
The reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is because the documentation is terse and not too helpful. I’m all for games where you have to discover things by trial and error, but there is a limit to patience for such things and some minor hints would have helped. But I love this game.
