Great, but…..
The gameplay is good and very interesting, but the game can glitch and you can lose your stuff. I got a premium skin and when I came back a few hours later it removed it and I lost weeks of grinding.
Bring back the updates!
I love this game, but it has many flaws, and the fact that it’s abandoned doesn’t help either. There is so many things that can be done to help the game, and I have plenty of good ideas that I’m sure other players will enjoy. I know I’m just a random person making a review, but just because it won’t hurt to try, I would love to sort of work in the team in some way. Of course, I’m not saying I want to be hired, I want to be a person to look to for ideas and concepts. If you’re a dev reading this, thank you for your time. I will be thankful for any consideration of my offer.

Top 10 game
I came back but lots of cheaters now because devs abandoned. Top leaderboards just a list of cheaters. They have no reload time and spam catapult and other weapons and also the secondary doesn’t have a charge time so they can spam frags or anything else. Too bad, game was great.
Awesome tank game
This game is so fun with all the different customization options, and modes. There aren’t an insane amount of ads like some other games. It’s always fun being able to unlock a new item because all of them have cool strengths.
No more Players
Why I can’t play any human? There is no more playing in this game?
Good Aesthetic and Graphics
By far the most detailed, “polished,” “fun-themed” tank “arena” game available while also providing some of the best stylized graphics of any game available, on par, if not better, than graphics of major mobile game competitors such as Supercell. The gameplay is smooth, fast-paced, seemingly “balanced” (though some weapons seem to have overall “roles” that are more efficient than others), plethora of different weapons, bodies/hulls, and cosmetics to truly customize your tank to your liking. However, for this game to truly succeed, which I thoroughly believe it should due to this game’s sheer level of good quality, the reward system needs a heavy overhaul. Currently, your upgrades require 25 “coins” per level before requiring a “major” upgrade of roughly 200 coins (which will increase as you raise the item’s level) before getting to move to another set of three “minor” upgrades. Meanwhile, a “season” selection is used to allow the player to unlock new weapons, hulls, and cosmetics that functions similarly to a “battle pass” in many other games. Unfortunately, this “season” system will typically take around 2000 points to completely finish a “season,” of which you’ll typically only progress by about 5-15 points per match, meaning it would take around 200 matches to complete just one season. Due to the “coin” shortage and the unnecessarily slow progress of the season, I’ve found that this game’s “player economy” to be atrociously slow. Yes, a lot of this is free (though even seasons that require payment may also require 2000 points), however, in comparison to other “free” mobile games that have “time sinks” (Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, etc.) the rate of progress is tied to the amount of time spent on the game, with a more active game like Brawl Stars (which requires actively playing the game instead of largely waiting as with Clash of Clans), the rate of progress is relatively fast, which is not something that Pico Tanks replicates. Simply put, Pico Tanks needs to increase the rate of earning in nearly every system (coins, season points, etc.) by at least 5x. Yes, this would seemingly affect the longevity of the game by shorting the time to the “end game,” but, ironically, if players find that the progression will take too long that may quit at the start, which makes any long progression pointless. If the economy system was faster, the irony would likely be that more players would stick around for the “long-term” as they would be able to make satisfying progress in their upgrades and seasons, which, once they determine that the game is a “worthwhile” investment, may be more willing to spend money on purchases. Ultimately, this game desperately needs a 5-10x increase in the player’s gain rate of coins, season points, etc. Other than this economy issue, the game is wonderful.
Too high of a paywall
Simply put, the value of the game does not exceed the price tag you are putting on it. What’s the point of offering all these modes and seasons if the player has to pass an extra paywall to access it? There is no reason why you should have to pay that many gems for a season pass and there is no good reason why there is not a option to buy one package for all modes you wish to unlock.
I like the game but…
I like the game but I feel like every time I’m in an arcade match with like a professional player, the game just randomly freezes. This “freezing” problem has made me almost quit the game forever. Oh and it doesn’t help when the other people in the match get an insane score of like 90 or 100+.
I hope the dev pick up this game again

Even more manipulative and pay to win that brawl stars (somehow), and the movement controls feel like you are moving through mud.

Lots of dumb bots
At first the matchmaking was horrible. Got mixed in with a lot of higher level players. Now it seems like they put in a bot instead of pairing you against higher level people. Maybe that’s just my experience with game I don’t know. But the bots are stupid. They charge in against 3 enemies or they don’t score when they have an opportunity.

Arecade glitches.
Whenever I play in the arcade game mode, on tropical trouble map, and I go on the wooden docks, I just randomly die. I see NO caliber or bullseye bullets, and I just die. But other than that minor (but insanely bad when I’m the only one left alive on my team,) your game is pretty much the goat. good job, panda arcade!

Whenever I open the game, it slowly loads up to 67%, then the loading completely stops. Please fix this as I would really like to play it again!
Fun game. Frustrating Ads
I watch ads that should double my post battle rewards. However, sometimes my rewards are not doubled after watching the ads. And this can happen back to back to back, wasting my time and preventing me to move forward in the game. I have to force close and reopen the gabe where this happens

Although there isn’t many people online nowadays, I believe that this game deserves better. It has been fun to play with friends and progress through the game by myself also. It isn’t pay to win unlike other popular games right now; it just takes a little time to get good stuff. If you’re reading this please give this game a try. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
Manipulation machine
Designed to get you to spend money. I doubt this game play is legit feels more like classic conditioning. You would have to be a fool not to see the patterns. Game play is so contrived!!! Aiming, phantom tanks, lag, bots, lots of bots, juvenile living players, useless rewards, etc.!!!The rewards for winning are mostly useless cosmetics. You might as well not play most contests if you don’t pay. The game play is determined by AI targeting preferences and over powered weapons. This strategy is used so much in phone apps. I hope you are secure enogh not to fall for it. Do not spend money on this game!! How is the most recent review? Also the most popular and it’s been up for less than a week ridiculous. This is all nonsense.
Good replacement for brawl stars
Lost my account, needed a new game, this is good but the movement could be better, idk I haven’t played that long I might just need a better tank base.
Potential ruined
Good game, generally fun to play with short games and multiple game modes. However, this game has an endless amount of problems that still aren’t fixed. “Internet connection” problems which are clearly more so on the game rather than the user. The extremely unfair ranking system that forces low level (level 15>) to fight against players above level 100. Over powered and unfair weapons and utilities that are almost impossible to beat. Far too much pay to win. The only way to progress in the game at a reasonable pace is to either grind for hours each day, or pay mass amounts of money. Cheats and hacks is also a problem with reporting issues clearly being avoided by the developers. Bugs that effectively prevent users from winning matches. Respawn timers that are far too long and can sometimes be a quarter of the total game time, this also means winning games is harder. Penalised for “leaving” matches when the game kicks you from the lobby. Overall this game has the potential to be a rlly fun fast paced game, but there are too many issues and too few good reasons to play. If the developers could please fix or change some of these problems, it would make the game better.

Best PvP game!
I’ve played this game for years now off and on. And there’s a reason I keep coming back to it. There’s nothing like it out there. You don’t need to pay to play, just watch videos and collect gems and just be patient. And once you reach the top level for your tank and weapon you’re at the same level as everyone else and it just comes down to skill. Developers have stopped adding stuff ( tanks, weapons,accessories). Maybe because not enough people are playing but hopefully that changes.

Is a great game but ruined
The game itself is great. However, the introduction of orbital weapon, and the weapons that bother to use it is ruining the game. I am not alone in thinking this as I have spoken with loads in game who think its OP. I have it maxed myself so it is mot jealousy. Its just boring and the people that use it are boring also. Something needs changing as people are beginning to just idle out of the match when certain players are on the opposing team who constantly use the weapon.

Hey! So I just used my gems to purchase 7 days of premium and intended on smashing out as much time battling as possible to bump me up. I’ve been loving this game, even gone to the point of getting several of my mates hooked on it too. Finally get a chance to sit down and double down on my play and had to install your latest update. Now I can’t even open the menu. 😭 I get to 85% and it stops eventually telling me it timed out. Please help!!! I only have 2 days left of premium and as this is pretty much the first and only phone game I have had, this is a major let down. Appreciate your help with this. Great game, but…
The matchmaking seems a little off. I keep getting put with people that I destroy easily. I have played 50 battles and have lost 1. Other than that this is a great game and I really enjoy. I haven’t played it much yet so the matchmaking may even out a bit more later? This game is totally worth playing matchmaking aside.

Some of the good parts about this game is the fast matchmaking times and the gameplay. The bad parts about this game is the amount of money you’ll need to spend to buy items from the store. The premium currency in the game is overpriced and not worth wasting your money on. 3/5

Honoring the developer
The game is fun. But, there is no reason to spend money. The matching is bad and the duplicate parts are 80% of what you get from cases. So, you’ll get no tangible benefit to buying upgrades for cash. Not to mention the insane cost of 160 bucks to upgrade a full tank. But, to honor the developers model. I’m willing to let them upgrade my review for 39.99 per star which is the fair market value for the time savings they will receive.
All around great, with room to grow
Really great game, awesome updates, matchmaking can be off sometimes. The only thing it needs is clans or groups to help teaming up with a better/faster chat function.
Fun game but!!!
It’s a really fun game until it puts you as a gold player against a team of max level players. There is a lot of boosting (high teams that play with 1 really low player to get easy games) and it is pay to win. If you’re in a team it should match you against players equal to the max player in team not average of the team since there is a huge difference in tanks at max level compared to gold.

Now despite 2 stars I must say that the game it’s self it’s fantastic: it’s very catchy with nice graphics, content and gameplay. However : u will enjoy it the first 5/10 rounds before you realise how unplayable it is if you don’t put any money in it. 50% of players spent tons of money to have the best gear and for level it up quickly. And I myself even spent 10/15 pounds in this game and still can’t compete almost at all sins the players who payed more deal MUCH more dmg, take MUCH less dmg, can become invisible( technically you can do it without shop but it would take you at least 4/5 months of constant grinding and several mental breakdowns because of your win rate), one shot you, have more energy for their abilities, etc... So if you can afford spend something around 75/100 £ on this game then go on and have fun, but if you are a normal person then save your self the frustration and play something else.
