This is the best John Gregory game made. It’s a little torky, but I have probably spent about 100 hours in the WW1 mode over the years. I really really hope that he makes a game exactly like this except the maps are way bigger. That would be so darn cool.

Fun game, but
Fun game but 1941 Barbarossa war game as Soviet Union on hard is super unrealistic. A German invasion wipes out literally every single troop I have in a tile, even tho they have space to retreat. I know that irl the Soviets had many deaths early on, so it makes sense that germanys attacks are deadly early on, but now I’m in 1944 and my troops in tiles are getting completely wiped out. It doesn’t make sense
Good game, poorly implemented
The game is alright, it’s nice, simple and to the point. The issue is the developer has plastered adverts all over it. I appreciate it’s a free game and they have to make money somehow but they’re also doing way too much, an ad after every turn is crazy. I know you can buy the game and get rid of ads for £4 but I think that’s personally too high of a price, I bought balloons tower defence for £4 which has actual graphics made by a huge team of people. Shame because I used to play this game a while ago and don’t remember it being so money hungry.
Zoom
It’s a really good game but when I try to zoom out it’s just a small part of the screen with the actual game,and the rest is white.If you want to get this game I would recommend it though
Good but you can not play this on iPhone
I have been playing this game for years it’s simple but amazing but you cannot play this on mobile for some reason pacifically phone or iPhone. It does not work. You can play it on iPad, but not phone so I don’t know why hopefully the devs fix this.
I know this game came out a long time ago
This game and your other games are very good and impressive, especially because it’s just you making them. I’m currently trying to beat the WW1 scenario as the British but have so far been unable to. I’ve come very close to taking Berlin but have been unable to even with airplanes and tanks. Is there any specific strategy or guide to beating this scenario?
More maps and countries please
Cool game but I have ideas for future updates.You could add an option for 1939 map to play as poland as Poland in in 1939 map but isn’t playable.Also you could add napoleonie wars.These are just proposals for future updates.You could make games for ww1 and napoleonie wars.these are also proposals but can you do these please?
Bad mechanics
Good graphics but horrible mechanics there is no common logic in this at all and the fact your Allie’s can take land from that the enemy had invade makes it all worse. Sad that I found out I wasted my time playing the game. Also inaccurate when tanks are available to you in 1918 in ww1 mode they were used in 1916 should have been there. Hate how you can’t tell if the enemy is gonna invade you by sea to.
Good, but could do with improvements
This is one of my favourite mobile games, but there’s many problems to fix;When a zone is occupied, within that turn, an offensive can still come from the previous occupying force.Also,I’d love to be able to send/receive aid from allies,e.g sending soldiers to an allied frontline to prevent a defeat
Good game
Have played this game for many years. It’s simple and fun assuming you like the type of game. Am writing a review (finally) because sadly today the game suddenly started crashing on start up. Never has any problems before but now I cannot even get to the main menu. Hopefully the devs will see this and fix it

One of the best small creators! {but recently the ads are too much}
Each of these games is a little different as far as mechanics and gameplay go, and id recommend playing colonies at war first and then this one, as this one can be more challenging. However, if you’ve played any game like this then you should be good to play any of them at any point. {now one star because ads are way too often… every single tap on the screen results in a series of ads you can’t even skip!}
Just some issues
I think that there should be some more territories. Also neutral territories should not just stack your land without being attacked.Also it would be cool if you could adjust your economy. Like you change research spending so you can research faster or slower and other types of adjustments.
Dull, boring and clunky.
No one mentions that this game is clunky repetitive and just, well…..very boring. Deleted after an hour. There are a few very similar games and they are all equally rubbish. Do yourself a favour and just buy the risk board game and leave your phone for a while.

Best game to play when eating chips and bacon
I played this game and I think it’s great so I spent 3,000 hours on it so far . I smell and no one will talk to me . My parents kicked me out the house and I eat fungus on my floor yet I still play this 14 hours out of the day . Please send help for I think I’m terribly sick from playing this game to much . I haven’t slept till I was 15 and never will again . Thank god for making this game so I can have to fight rats for food from a trash can . Thank you💀

Great game but should be improved
I have been playing this game for a few months now and it’s so fun, especially with a friend. Some bugs/ improvements could be when you create your own custom battles it seems only 2 countries can be on a team. You should also add troops being able travel though friendly land. Lastly their should be a max amount of people that can be recruited and better technology research should be available.

So this game has a lot of good things going for it. It is fun to strategize and plan your attacks, but after every single turn there is an add. And it takes the ai forever to attack. So overall fun game when you actually get to play the game.

Great game overall needs a little work
Overall I truly enjoy the game, however there a few things that really frustrate me. To star why is it that when my capital gets taken over by a country I lose the ability to purchase troops? Shouldn’t my capital just move somewhere else? Why can I not move troops through countries I’m in an alliance with? Lastly, why is it that I have to play cat and mouse with a country when I defeat them but they have troops go to an adjacent territory of mine that is lacking in defense? Those little things do bug me, other than that I do enjoy the game. I hope those little things get fixed.
Good Game but bad AI
One time in the world war one map I was playing as France then Spain invaded me but a few turns later they literally had a notification saying spain you had joined the allies, like it should be the other way around saying the allies have invaded Spain and i couldnt even get my land back because i couldnt attack them, fix the ai Edit: thanks ill keep that in mind

I enjoy playing this game, but I still can’t form alliances even after I press the ok button. Also, I do have the latest update for this game

Paid for the game to play some of the other game modes and none of them unlocked. Rip off
Great game but….
This is a very fun game. My only complaint is that the game dosn’t let you leave alliances/ declare war on your allies. For example, in the WW2 start date, if I play as Germany and I want to do a world conquest I am unable to attack Italy, who’ll sometimes leave the French in africa for ages. Can you make it so you can declare war on your allies? Thanks :)
Fun but glitchy
Troops are able to pass your troops on the frontlines without a fight and go straight into your undefended territory but you can’t do the same in return I know it’s not the water connecting to my territory because I had 70 ships still docked offshore sooo…….
Broken game
The zoom in and zoom out it broken.When I zoom out,it zooms the entire screen out
Alliances aren’t meaningful and war mechanics are broken
The sequence of the turn is all players make their combat moves without knowing what other players are doing. Then combat happens but its sequential, not concurrent so sometimes you end up attacking allies. Example: You are Britain and you attack the territory of Germany. France also attacks Germany. The French battle is first and they win. Then your battle occurs and your troops attack the French occupying force costing both Britain and France troops. Instead the battle should have been the combined French British force for a more decisive victory. At the very least when Britain “attacks” there should be no battle. Either the two forces should coexist or the British forces should turn back. Different example: If there are two territories controlled by opposing forces when each side chooses to send an attack across the border the forces don’t clash in the middle, they pass each other and only attack whatever forces we left to defend. Dumb! Also apparently you cannot sail your warships into waters controlled by allies. So it is possible for your navy to be bottled up in a few sea zones because your ally controls the surrounding seas. EDIT IN REPLY TO DEVELOPER RESPONSE: Sorry but these flaws aren’t features that prevent the game from being complicated, they are fatal flaws. Allies should never unintentionally attack each other and allies should not box in each others navies. These are fatal flaws in your game.
It a very good game
It’s a good game I like it but there’s one flaw it doesn’t have all the wars that happened in Europe I am not saying needs every war that happened in Europe I am just saying there are like 4 wars to play if you didn’t pay for it so maybe you could add one more for those who didn’t pay for it like the Cold War for example.
Needs work
You should be able to join an alliance or play as nations such as Spain or Sweden. Also the Russian revolution shouldn’t Happen if Russia is doing extremely well in the war.
Wonderful war based game
This is a very fun war based game in covering Europe and Northern Africa. A lot of people may want more intricate details out of their games, making them more like the conquest or civilization games, but this is exactly what I’ve been looking for out of these types of games. It’s very simple in comparison, but I personally find it very fun. I wish there were more games with the exact same play function/style but different maps, I’ve tried some of the other games from the same developer that cover the whole world, but they added too many things to complicate the game. I would love to see new maps with the same game function as this game. 10/10 or I suppose 5/5 stars haha. Hope they release more similar games at some point if they’re even still developing these types of games

Alliance’s in Berber/Mahdist Uprising Not Working
Another country will say they are happy to join an alliance with me, I click yes and nothing happens. I tried waiting another turn, nothing. Playing different countries, same issue. When playing on hard were my Army and Navy are nerfed and it costs $200 to build more troops, this makes it extremely unlikely I will be able to compete and win.
2 problems
Make neutral nations and Poland playable And It’s stupid how both both sides can send armies and they just go around each other and take other each others pand

Pros- hard but after time can master - diplomacy is complicated and easy to learn with pacts and alliances - many modes that are all fun challenge games, free for all, and war games -I love world war 2 and free for all bc of pacts and neutrals switching sides adding a lot of strategy Cons -teams can be too aggressively unpredictable only to the layers not to the ai -in free for all I don’t understand why only nations that your nation are threatening and almost defeated are the only nations which will have pacts with you Thanks

Honestly great game but combat needs a rework also more states should be added so it truly feels like you are making a slow push into enemy territory. And so that when a enemy takes a state from you they don’t just push into 2 more ans game over but overall great game.
