Cant login
constantly getting a "request time out" message even though my internet connection is fine. Its so annoying that they log you out of the app every few days and you have to login again but when their servers are down or whatever we cant get back in

app sucks
Niu scooter is fantasitc however NIU app is horrible. I have send connect the NIU many times to grant control permission. The owner cannot receive the notification even i input SN number manually. Hard to imagine that a company can produce such great e-scooter with this sucks app. What a pity!

Tutorial keeps popping up
Tutorial keeps popping up and some setting are not saving or syncing properly. Lock mode is hit or miss, leaving me stranded by the road.
Super App, aber kleine Fehler
Geiler Roller (NQIX), toller Funktionsumfang, aber ein paar kleine Fehler nerven: 1. vehicle volume setzt sich ca alle zwei Tage wieder auf volle Lautstarke zurück. Muss manuell in der App wieder angepasst werden. Genauso die custom driving Mode kurve. Das ist nervig. 2. Bekomme die neue Navigation auf dem NQIX nicht angezeigt, obwohl dort verbunden steht. Auf das Feature warte ich schon lange!

Compré el modelo KQi1 pro apenas lo saqué de la caja lo ensamble correctamente como dice el manual y está muerto no enciende, no prende ni una luz, aparte viene con un cable de carga pero no se puede utilizar con nada de que tengas en tu casa, la aplicación la descarga y no driver para nada, era el regalo de santa de mi hijo y quedó decepcionado completamente, ver a tu hijo llorar de decepción por comprar un producto malo .
Ride stats work again
App is now functional once more. I only use it to check my battery, check ride stats, and lock/unlock my scooter. Works fine for the basics.
Device binding won’t work for some reason on the niu kqi 100p
Bluetooth wasn’t working, proceeded to support, lady made it seem like I was stupid or something, never fixed to this day
Not recording ride data
The most recent patch is much better than the previous, however the app is still not properly recoding ride data and mapping it out.

So I love my scooter I have but there’s like things to be added. I live in America and not in Australia I want you to have the top speed however you wanted to be in with us Americans because us Americans don’t know if we want to go 25 if you wanna go fast, we can go fast if you wanna go so we can goso and also if I wanna go to the store and if someone was trying to rob mine and they’re trying to replace the hardware hardware that cannot make work anymore so you should add an alarm that will go off to set your phone alarm that someone’s trying to replace it and then you’ll think of something else that I are you now please do this idea please I beg you
一塌糊涂
1. 车主分享密码，对方按指引进入密码输入模式，操作转向按键没有任何反应。 2. 分享解锁小程序，对方打开也无任何设备或者操作界面 3. 车主分享设备重新绑定，对方按指引到短按三下启动键以便配对，依然没有任何反应，无法完成配对。 最终只能车主亲自来解锁，用户体验一塌糊涂，从未见过如此糟糕的app体验！！！你们一分都配不上！
First year with my NIU UQI+. My review.
I love my NIU and all the info the app gives me: My past rides. The number of Km riden so far. The battery % and how many Km that represents. The fact that I can see my NIU’s location and get notifications when there is vibrations/overturned/movement is a MAJOR bonus. I find the vibration sensors to be very sensitive. ALSO, I don’t know if it’s because of the weather (intense heat) today but the app informed me that there was no battery when in fact the battery is installed. I even have an extra locking device to secure my battery. It happened twice today. Is this a BUG?
Can’t even name my scooter - keyboard won’t go away
App is obviously very badly coded, unnecessary step to ride the scooter.
They need to work more in this App

Totally doesn’t work
Bluetooth pairing won’t work. NIU customer service keeps telling me to do the same steps over and over. Seems like it would be good if it actually worked.
App does not work 100%
App is unfinished; it pairs with the scooter, I can change the scooter name, lock it, see how much left for a full charge or even when I am riding, see the speed or inclination/angle at real time. I can also see how many days it’s been ridden but somehow it does not show how many kms I have travelled or top speed or average speed. Even if I start a trip from scratch, the app does not keep a record of it. How am I going to know the battery life if I have no idea how many cycles I had done or how many kms I have travelled? It’s like it is pay-to-use, in order to see the other functions I have to pay more. You guys need to fix it ASAP, I’m not recommending this scooter to family and friends because of this issue. Please get in touch, I’ve already sent an email. I’m more than glad to change the 2-star rate to a 5-star if the issue is fixed. Cheers! EDIT: Today, after 02 weeks the app seams to be responding lol I now can see the kms ridden and average speed + other data like battery cycle and all. I will come back to edit this again. Cheers.
Bad app
This app resets after every ride. There is no way to save the settings and couldn’t get help.
Bugs
This app has bugs that need to be addressed. When using the GO option it only records your distance and speed and doesn’t record your routes and other telemetry. This app needs more features and I know it’s capable of more
Why it’s a four
It would be better if it goes fast faster, but everything else is fine
App does not record rides or give you total mileage.
This app doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. I have spoken to niu for the past month and it’s like ripping my hair out. They insist I need to send my scooter back, but I don’t. On my android devices it shows total mileage. It shows it working. On iOS I get all my info, ride customization, vehicle information, etc. The only two things I’ve not been able to get are ride distance and total mileage. This is an issue with the app and firmware, not the scooter itself. I’ve seen international versions which are updated working just fine in iOS, but the American release is a version behind and does not have the snooty to view crucial data like total mileage or record ride data. They sent me a minor and I do mean VERY minor refund for the app issue, but that isn’t solving the problem. Update your app. Update the firmware. Hire someone in America to do it if you have to.
Love the Scooter, App Is Decent
KQI3 Pro is a good first scooter for anyone looking to get one. The app is decent, except it suggests you use a special character for your password when creating an account which doesn’t actually work. Without a special character it does. Some feature suggestions for the app: - Lifetime odometer - 0 start option (even if only enabled after a certain amount of km)
Truly terrible app for such nice scooters
Scooters nice, app not so. The routes don’t record unless you phone screen is on the entire time. Takes time for your ride stats to update - like maybe the next day it will appear.

Not recording routes at all, ever!!!
I’ve only the scooter for almost 2 1/2 years now. The app is OK for function, but does not record the routes whatsoever under any circumstances on iPhone. Yes, I have followed all the troubleshooting tips from the manufacturer. Yes, I have sought the balance space on their website and found nothing to be helpful. Yes, I have sent an email to the board staff and received no help whatsoever. Under these circumstances, I would not buy a product from this manufacturer until they learn to develop the app as advertised.
Good customer service
I had an issue with binding a new KQi2 which did not allow the user to watch the tutorial video to unlock scooter functionality. The issue was rectified within a day. Thank you.
This app should not require data
There is no reason this app should not function with all controls to customize the scooters using only a Bluetooth connection. Yet, it seems to require a data connection as well. Please fix this - I should be able to set my scooter speed limits, modes, etc with a simple Bluetooth only connection to the scooter.
App has a few bugs
App has many bugs and things that should be worked out. One thing is when I’m using the “GO” function, the app doesn’t record my route but only records the distance and speed. Second thing is the Bluetooth sometimes doesn’t connect to the app and the Bluetooth symbol constantly flashes while riding which is annoying. Third and final thing is that the app should have a chatbot service where u can speak to a live agent about any issues.
Suggestion
Motor cruise mode so it accelerates slowly.

The APP is ok. It seems to be doing what it is supposed to do. It was a bit tricky to set it up. It was supposed to send me a pin which didn’t arrive so I had to try a couple of times. The Route recording feature is fun but the map got totally messed up on my last ride. Maybe an issue interfacing with the GPS. I like the charging status of the scooter, that’s awesome. Been running the diagnostic test also but I really have no clue what it does if it does anything. But it tells me everything is fine so I guess that’s good.
App problematic
I think speed need to be extended and as well does not track distance I’m way older then 14 and want to get to work much faster
Time zones are a thing
This app thinks we all live in China. Beijing time zone. How hard is it to get an app to recognize your local time? It also seems incapable of logging a route.
Terrible app
I haven’t been able, so far, to get the distance I make on the scooter on the app. Pretty useless I think. NIU did a terrible job with their app and I hope they will fix it!

Very handy!
I’m very pleased to have this app. It’s an essential companion tool to go with my Niu scooter. My only gripe is since the last update: there’s a 5 seconds ad totally in Chinese before acceding de dashboard. Hey Niu, my NQi-GT was costly enough to not have ads in its app. Please remove them (for the 5th Star)

It still needs further development because it is late to connect and we also need a version of the Apple watch
It works but with some issue
Overall the app does what it supposed to do but it sometimes missing options randomly. For example my riding data doesn’t get updated in real time; also the “quick lock” function that was there but somehow disappeared now. (I’m using it with KQI 3 Sport)
App works well ~ No issues for me
Having used the app for a couple of months, I can’t say I’ve had any real issues with it. It’s a bit basic but I have no problems pairing to my KQi3 Pro, accessing my cumulative ride data and changing the scooter’s settings such as cruise control and regen braking level. Just note when you’re trying to sign-in or create and account for the first time on the app, you need to accept the terms and conditions found at the bottom of the log-in page. It can be easy to miss this and could be the reason why a few people are experiencing issues logging-in. Click the box and you’re then able go log-in and/or complete registration.

...but a bit unreliable in connecting with the scooter. Does not always do it automatically. Also - the next dealer is about 4000 km away...?????
