Great to try if you never played
I didn’t know how to play snooker til I played it through this app. Now I can’t wait to try it out on the pool table
Broken ads
I was really enjoying this game, then the ads started to refuse to close. I don’t know if this is the developers issue or something else but it’s made me find another game similar by someone else. The ads pop up, I watch them begrudgingly, then it says ‘close’ but it does absolutely nothing. Closing the app and starting again I get the same issue over and over.
Honest review for company
Game is good and make it online multiplayer than it become more interesting and fun
Poor imitation
Cue ball does not behave properly when English is applied, especially side English that has absolutely no effect on the cue ball when it comes off the rail. Cue ball indicated path after leaving object ball always seems to indicate a sewer. Computer does not choose realistic shots, and is not consistent with potting…i.e. it makes difficult shots every time, but misses the easy ones. It can’t seem to make a shot into the side pocket until only the colours are left, and then suddenly it never misses. Does not play to snooker opponent when it is losing. Will deliberately foul when it has no shot. When playing POV camera angle, there is not enough of the table shown, so you cannot see where the cue ball has bounced to if it leaves the screen. The cue ball should always be in view.
No online option
After you hit the ball the camera doesn’t zoom out to see all balls .You can play a friend in your house or the computer. No online players. The leaderboard should renew weekly, but it hasn’t changed since day one the leaderboard should renew

I think this game is really good because it’s pool just called snooker and if u like pool you would love this game!!!!

Pocket gets automatically blocked and throws out the ball even on a perfect shot while playing with computer hard

Misleading hype about this app.
Those of us who grew up actually playing snooker in local pool halls enjoyed the challenge of playing against real opponents. Since this app has no way to intact with other humans, it just a waste of time and effort.

More view control
I like the game. I never knew this was a thing. I’ve played many other billiard style games and they all have more control over the view and angle before committing to a shot. I should be able to remain locked on target and remain in position while rotating table view.

Bad physics
Very fun, but unfortunately the physics are incorrect and it seems the developers don’t play. Side spin has no effect on angle on contacting cushion, and follow can, impossibly, make the cue ball roll further than the object ball. Ridiculous.
Smooth Gameplay
This has to be the smoothest gameplay and closest to the real life game on how you can get close to a cue ball position. Something I would love to get improved is automatic panning out after making a shot just like in real life (shooting and standing up) to see where the cue ball lands. Other than that, multiplayer online competitive option would be awesome as well.
Good potential
Too many weak spots. Crashes. Rule problems. Set Red as the On Ball when there were no reds left on the table. Cue ball doesn’t respond to side spin.
Meh
Decent enough gameplay but with serious caveats. Main issues include poor camera programming that often allows moving balls to roll out of frame. What?! Also there are frequent bugs with aiming a shot versus camera/POV being enacted, and even the occasional unintentional shot gets taken while doing either. Very annoying if in the middle of a big break! Finally, “Jack” the CPU player has absolutely terrible form. Beyond good potting there is zero positional or strategic playing, constantly goes for random and weird shots that no decent player would take, and with terribly stabby cuing action that’s really hard to watch!

Very impressed. It took me a while to get the sensitivity of the cue ball strike but I’m better now. Aiming can be tough but I don’t want easy. Speaking of easy could you put more into the cue ball spin? There doesn’t seem to be to be a reproducible way to draw the cue ball straight back which I can do in real life. Keep up the good work!!!

This game is very good and enjoyable game and this game definitely deserves 5 star
Laughable
Anyone who’s played pool or snooker understands how balls move across the baize. This is quite literally a laughable physics simulation. If you genuinely enjoy this game in the real world, you won’t enjoy this very poor attempt at reproducing it virtually.
Enjoyable
I play 8 Ball Pool quite a bit, and though the physics and 3D layout make this quite a bit different, it’s quite enjoyable. I’m a big snooker fan and this is the first iPad game I’ve tried. I guess my biggest wish, at this point, would be the ability to play others online. I’ll keep playing get a better feel and maybe update my review later. All in all I’d say good job, if you like snooker, check it out.

The game is very smooth and acceptable. But unfortunately, it does not have an option for misses and free balls. This is very strange to me because these are among the most interesting rules of snooker. I hope you fix these issues soon so it's closer to the real game.

Unfriendly to no-guideline players
The AI is apparently not for hardcore players who don’t like any guideline, I strongly suggest the developers to reduce the probability of AI shot when player choose “no guide”, the “easy AI” keep doing insane long shots and big angle shots, I can’t play at all. I have to give up this game, I like everything except the AI of this game. Update AI pls

Missing rules
Game is overall ok, but it does not have rules such as free ball, and if the opponent fails to escape a snooker, you don’t have the choice of letting them try again. The point calculations system also always gives you 4 points for a foul ball pocketed, no matter which one it is.
Doesn’t apply the rules correctly
The gameplay is ok but there are a couple of issues. The computer player makes weird shot selections such as going for a long yellow when there’s a higher value ball sitting over the pocket. I think it might be related to the difficulty level selected but beginner players are never going to select that shot. Conversely, some of the long shots it can sink are pro-level. I’d change the AI and give it better shot selection but have potting ability more variable on the easier settings. The other issue is that fouls aren’t being scored correctly. Potting the black when you’re on a red should be a seven point penalty but the game only gives four points.

Worst AI
The game never let’s you win in the hard mode. The game will make you break and the cpu will pot every ball without giving you a single chancw to score.
Good but doesn’t know the rules!
This is a spinoff of Real Pool 3D which has a snooker option that is played on a pool table, i.e. not real snooker. This game uses a snooker table which makes some shots no longer viable but recreates the snooker experience much better. However, the app does not recognise a foul snooker and does not allow forcing the opponent to play the shot after they have played a foul. Another rule it doesn’t know is when the cue ball is potted the penalty is always 4 points except when a ball of higher value is potted at the same time when the penalty is the higher one. Otherwise pretty realistic but the effect of backspin and topspin is grossly over modelled. I need to experiment with the sensitivity setting to see if that helps but the default is certainly excessive.
My Snooker
Real Snooker 3D is a compelling and most entertaining electronic equivalent of the real live game. I’ve been playing this for many years and reckon my game has dramatically improved.
Doesn’t play snooker!
I don’t know what you’d call the game the AI plays, but it’s not snooker, because the AI never plays any safety shots. It always goes for the shot to sink a ball. The difficulty levels only reflect how often the shot is successful, and nothing else. I’ve tried all three difficulty levels, and the AI never plays a safety, attempting even the most difficult shots trying to sink a ball. In actual snooker, the safety play is a vital part of the game. Until I hear that the AI has been changed, I cannot recommend the game’s AI to anyone. This is a lovely looking game, but it isn’t snooker.
Please fix an AI and a table speed
The AI is ridiculously accurate and lacks logic on all difficulty levels. It choses a blue over a black ball on every occasion and doesn’t care about building a series. The table is too slow. The typical tournament opening break can’t be repeated on this table speed. Balls either barely move, or the entire pyramid goes boom. The speed should allow for mid-strength gentle hits. Otherwise, it’s a solid effort. Thank you.

Quite a nice game not supported by robust display
Gane works fine. A lot better than many of the other apps on the store. However, flexibility of viewing angles is a limitation. Hence at times, the view becomes to small to make good aims.

Just needs a couple tweaks
Love the game for the most part. Just a couple key things would make it perfect for me. 1. I would like the ability to replay a shot in practice mode 2. I wish the AI opponent would wait to concede on the start of their turn instead of interrupting mine. Else, the gameplay is good and a fun way to kill some time.

Very predictable. Opponent never misses when hooked, and never misses angled shots. Also, opponent makes some very obvious programmed poor shots to make you believe he made a terrible mistake. A fun game but not really a game of pool because it is so very predictable. After a while you know where every ball will land after a break.
Need more options
It’s very good but you don’t get to pick if you can go second.
