Schade das man nicht minus Sterne geben kann. Funktioniert garnicht, verbindet sich nicht oder hängt permanent. Müll
Bis jetzt alles super
Ich kann bis jetzt nur positives sagen. Habe 2 Stück ohne Probleme installiert. Der Empfang ist bis jetzt sehr gut sind ziemlich weit weg vom Sender. Von der Aufzeichnung her wäre eine komplette Ansicht hilfreich um nicht als zwischen den einzelnen Steckdosen rum zu tippen.
After update WiFi networks not shown
Recently the App was updated. After this update, when adding a device, the list with available WiFi networks is not shown anymore. Therefore I cannot connect to any WiFi networks with my Smart Plugs... It appears that the IOS Settings: Access Local Network is gone in 2.1.0 and therefore the App does not get access to the Local Network and cannot find any WiFi networks. It does work in 2.0.9. Please fix this ASAP. Thx.

App does not show correctly on my iphone min
The app is showing wrong on the screen of iPhone mini. The upper and lower area is out of the display bounds, so the app cannot be used.
This App no longer works...
...but if you install EdiLife it does... come on guys..great product but tell us how to use it..

Die App funktioniert, aber sehr träge. Nieder-/Hochtarif ist für die App ein Fremdwort.
Unfassbarer Schrott, vor allem Softwareseitig
Traurig dass das eins der wenigen von SMA unterstützten „Smart“ Steckdosen ist. Hardware ist ganz okay und tut was sie soll aber was zur Hölle soll das für eine Software sein? Unübersichtlich, unzuverlässig, langsam und ein Update überschreibt alle Einstellungen. Ernsthaft? Dann lieber keine ansteuerbaren Steckdosen. Würde ich so weder nochmal kaufen noch irgendwem empfehlen.

Warum heißt die App auf meinem iPhone eigentlich EdiSamrt? Sollte wohl EdiSmart heißen. Der Text ist auch weiß auf weißer Schrift nicht besonders gut lesbar.
Steckdose verbindet sich nicht
Trotz stundenlanger Versuche sieht sich die Steckdose nicht in der Lage sich mit meinem 2,4 er WLAN zu verbinden. Verglichen mit anderen Herstellen ist die Software obendrein rudimentär und die Bedieneroberfäche aus dem letzten Jahrhundert.
Unter iOS 13 nicht zu gebrauchen
Neu gekauft und wollte die Smart-Streckdose unter iOS 13 einrichten, unmöglich. Glücklicherweise hatte ich noch ein Gerät mit iOS 10.1.1, hier ging es von Anfang an gut. Die Steckdose ist qualitativ robust gebaut, da habe ich nichts zum aussetzen. Der Verbindungsaufbau zum Router ist nicht mit einer WPS-Taste möglich. Diese muss manuell über die Steckdose konfiguriert werden (finde ich nicht Zeitgemäss). Für technisch nicht so visierte Benutzer vermutlich etwas kompliziert. Trotzdem zwei Sterne

Unzuverlässig und fehlerhaft: Pfusch
Dies ist die dritte App für Edimax-Steckdosen, nach Ediplug und Edilve. Je nach soft – und Hardware Version der Steckdose muss man eine andere App benutzen. Unter einander sind die nicht kompatibel. Das ist schon die erste Schwierigkeit: die passende App überhaupt zu finden. Die Installation der Dosen klappt dann recht gut, aber anschließend, also im Betrieb, werden die Dosen nur höchst zufällig gefunden und deren Schalter und Anzeigen funktionieren höchstens jedes zweite Mal. Zwei Sterne sind dafür schon gnädig. Wirklich Pfusch

Disappointing They used to work No longer connect to WiFi
NOT compatible with Alexa
The main reason we bought these plugs was the false statement on the box that they are Alexa compatible. After spending a whole weekend trying and following the instructions we wrote to Edimax Support just to be told that they don’t work with Alexa!

I used this app to control my smart plug SP-2101W but its not recognizing it any more, did factory reset when adding the wifi ssid states that cannot connect to the wifi, but changes the connectivity light to green but still no luck using the plug. Any help would be appreciated.
Dreadful
Absolutely dreadful. No more to say .... UPDATE - MORE to say. This bunch of charlatans could not organise a drinks session in a brewery. Two ‘smart’ (totally dumb) plugs and three apps later - total FAIL. And customer service is as useless as the product and apps. Basically blatant lies for weeks on end. Do NOT buy any ‘Edi’ products - you’ll enjoy putting your money in the lavatory and watching it flush away more than the stuff they produce which belongs in a sewer.
Useless can't connect to devices at all
I was very excited to be able to connect my edimax to alexa but this app just keeps spinning and doesn't do anything. Please fix it
