Great game
sweet and fun story
Beautiful
This game is beautifully written and executed. I came in with no expectations. I was just looking for a cooking stimulation game. Not only are the dishes so delicious looking, but I also got so invested in the stories. My heart breaks a bit for everybody. At the end I cried. I am sad now that I went through all the conversations and the game will end soon .
Mabo is such a little cutie!!
Glad I wasn’t menstruating while playing this game because if I was…I would’ve cried a lot. The depth of the stories surprised me and even over text messages there was so much meaning behind them, so much of the human experience and how closely it’s tied to food. I gave this a 4/5 stars because I wish there was more to do BUT I do think the game as it is deserves 5/5 starts if you’re looking for a no-pressure, low stakes, passive game just to enjoy the art, the stories, and learn all these dishes.

Too slow
This game is incredibly slow. I played it for 1 hour and it just takes forever to level up, and upgrade workstations. The stories are really nice but it’s so slow! That’s the main reason why I deleted it. It’s just not worth wasting time on tbh
Loved it but never finished final part of final story!
I’m going crazy here. I unlocked and completed everything except for whatever the final scene between the old couple is. I have searched the entire internet and found nothing! Aaaah.
Too much auto advertisement
The game really did cheap way to earn money. Make people no choice but watch advertisement. The advertisement auto appears during playing game, really annoying . I don’t mind to watch advertisement but at least i do it by myself. I can watch more than 10-30 times advertisement if game give me some offer. And the game not much interesting to make me want to spend money for stop auto advertisement.

Phenomenal Idle Game
This is the only idle game I like. I loved the story, calming music and fell in love with the charming characters. It was perfect for study breaks because it straddles the fine line of being not too addicting yet still engaging. 10/10 game! Can’t wait to play its sequel!
Cute but annoying banner ads
Game has potential, but the banner ads at the bottom of the screen that keep flashing “update” are very annoying
What I think would be a good change.
I love this game I finished it and went straight to the second game. It a very fun game but I do think a great change would be instead of the customers just asking for whatever made at the time they should ask for different food items that we the players have the recipes opened for! It just makes the game more fun instead of just giving out the same order of food every time.

Loved it but wish it wasn’t capped
I love this game so much, even if the main story only took 2-3 days for me to complete, I still thoroughly enjoyed it and the mechanics make it so that it’s fun to play even after completing all the stories. The only issue I’ve come across now is that the level seems to be capped at 30, which I’m a bit disappointed by because I would’ve loved to keep going to see how far I can go but, because the level is capped at 30, you no longer get any energy boosts and have to wait for it to recharge. I find this a shame cause I bought all the shop purchases thinking I could keep going but now that I can’t I find it to be a bit wasteful. Overall, fun little idle game with very little ads even without the shop purchases.

Heart throb
It’s been twice I’ve come back to this game, it’s so wonderfully made, the only kind of game I’d ever comeback to more than once. Each tantabata note left from the characters made me cry so much once understanding them as I progressed into their own stories. It also reminds me of real life too, I relate on some levels, makes me appreciate more and understand dearly. I love this game very much, even downloaded the rest just to play some more. I hope others enjoy this game as much as I have.

Simple, Sweet, & wraps up nicely!
It’s free, it has a story, and that story has an ending. This is a lovely change compared to what most phone games run. It’s something that’s actually completable! You follow a story of a sweet old lady, and I never would have guessed how it tidied up… so bitter sweet.

Adorable Game but needs an update
I downloaded this game, and seriously the storyline is adorable and so sweet and lovely however the game now I feel is lacking more. I feel it needs an update if the creators are planning for this? This is the reason I’ve given four stars instead of 5! Because I feel it needs more to keep you playing. I think I unlocked pretty much everything so just stopped after as it was getting quite samey every other time. Other than that, the graphics and the gameplay itself are a 10/10 and so cute!

Japan’s lamentation that its invasions did not succeed
This game is akin to a German game developer making a game called Hungry Hearts Cafe to reminisce about the good old Hitler period, when German came so close to conquering the whole of Europe. Japan misses the Showa period, when it seemed a mere step away from taking over East Asia. It is the heartfelt longing of many Japanese, including obviously the devs of this game. For those of you who don’t really know what the word Showa entails—the Showa era was the time period when Japan invaded China, bombed Pearl Harbor, committed countless heinous war crimes that resulted in millions of deaths (google Unit 731 to get a glimpse of a small part of what Japan did). But unlike Germany, Japan never felt guilty about what it did. Like the doctor in this game, it’s only sorry that it’s own soldier boys starved to death—soldiers sent to kill and rape innocents in other countries that did nothing to deserve what Japan did to them. The game devs have the gall to call them “enemies”. They were the victims of your country’s warmongering and bloodlust. They did nothing but remain on the lands of their ancestors when your country’s troops came and killed not just men, but women, and children. Your soldiers split babies in half with their bayonets. I think starving was too merciful a fate for them! If I were to make a tanabata wish, it would be this: may Japan one day become civilized enough to truly comprehend the evilness of its actions, and sincerely apologize and make amends for its crimes. May the Japanese people learn to be ashamed of their country’s bloody history of invasion and warmongering, instead of reminiscing about that bestial age with a series of “cute” games. Japan should never be allowed again to have its own army for a reason, and it is not because Japan loves peace. ✌️
Keeps making me lose progress...
Very fun but it keeps crashing and deleting all my progress. (First at lv5, then at lv7) I know it’s not that far in but is there any way to save the progress? I’m so paranoid about closing the game...
Surprisingly Good!
I can’t stop playing, I kept playing till the very end. The story is amazing with all its twists and turns! Also… I’m sobbing like a baby that ending was so good
Crashed and lost my progress
App crashed, when I loaded again I’d lost about 20k and some upgrades I’d purchased, also got to unlock some meals etc again.......

Such a relaxing and fun game to play and not too difficult or over complicated, I can only say that the one way to make this game better is to not make the characters story lines so immoral.

genuinely never minded the ads in this game, i’ve replayed it a few times over the years and i cry each time, i genuinely love these characters. i only just found the rest of the series so i’m happy to play those too!
