fantastic app, beats all the rest by far
I was looking high and low for a good IOS app that would tell me if the chargers I was getting off of Temu were any good and lived up to the manufacturers claims. This app did all that and more. It’s very quick to test the charger and battery, there’s almost no ads and the developer was very generous with not doing constant pop-ups or subscribe now for half off that everyone can do without. this app replaces several others in terms of tracking device info and stats and being able to monitor Wi-Fi/cellular data traffic, memory/CPU and the export function for the results of your charger works really well. being able to name each test and the charger used is the icing on the cake, I had to download 8 battery charging apps to find this one but I’ve been happy ever since I did and deleted the rest. Thanks Amperes Team/Devs! You guys are the best
Does not work
This application doesn’t work on iPad M5. Inaccurate information and also false features in this application like voltage, amps, watts etc. Funny thing is this application can’t find the device actually battery information data.

Meh at best
I was looking for a meter of charging power whether it is amps or watts, however the only way to see that is to run a 30 minute test and watch a bunch of ads in the meantime. Uninstalling.
Which test result is more reliable?
The results are completely different from those of the Ampere test; which one should be taken as the standard?
Works just fine, just read the instructions
All the bad reviews regarding ads are probably impatient people who don’t read instructions. The instructions could be a little more clear when you run a test, but if you read carefully it tells you a video will play so you can run tests ad free AFTER you watch an ad. This is no different than 90% of the free to use apps out there that have in-app ads. There is also a pretty clear visual warning stating that times will differ based on what iOS you are on as well. App works as expected and gave a decent analysis of wattage.

It takes been 15 and 30 min to get a reading. Absolutely ridiculous!

Хорошо, если оно строило график расхода электроэнергии в течении суток, особенно важно понять почему разряд аккумулятора пляшет при одинаковых режимах. А это приложение не может так работать.

Not sure of accuracy for iPhone 13 pro max fast charging
When I tested my 65 watt PD charger on my iPhone 13 Pro Max it gave me a test result of 48.9 watts. The phone was at 48% when I tested. Seems too high since the phone is only supposed to max out at 27 watts. Results from wireless charging seem to be ok. MagSafe showed 15.48 watts. Other wireless chargers showed 7.5-10 watts.

Been using this app for years
I’m a bit obsessive about battery charging for some reason. For years I’ve had this app installed on multiple iPhones I’ve owned, and I’ve also tested it against external USB amp meters/readers/trackers. I’ve compared different cables/chargers and usb plugs using this app, android phones, android apps, and my external USB amp meter. I’ve read through a few dozen reviews here, along with the developers responses, and I understand the app enough to know that the developer has solid truthful positions in every response. Occasionally I’ve experienced some inaccuracies but normally there’s a reason for whatever error might have occurred, and usually another test will show a more accurate result. Overall I do recommend this app and I will continue to use it obsessively!!

Первое измерение показало 5680 mAh, остальные три 1893, 2740 и 1252 соответственно. Всего четыре измерения. Ну и какое же из них верное? Сложный вопрос.......

I wanted to see what the amps are when charging the battery but that's not possible in this app. Why give a name that does not correspond to the real?

Nice tool with kind of old UI
I like this app. It works good for all my wires and charger tests, but UI is kind of old. Would love to see some fresh and nice interface there.
Garbage app exists only to serve you ad
Terrible app. Just says “starting test”, then forces open a full screen ad that takes over the app until you have to force close the app and restart the test. Worthless.

Really slow
Measures the time it takes to charge your battery 2% and then divides that by 2. If you’re on a meh charger, that can take a long time. Different measurements if the the phone is locked, vs when the phone is unlocked and open on the app screen, running the ads and test. App says you can’t close out of it or it will stop the test.

Very Useful Tool
Whenever a particular app shows itself to be exceptional, I am compelled to give it a positive review. I am aware of the difficulties that can arise when a developer submits an app to Apple for distribution on the App Store and I’m also aware of exactly how valuable a positive review by a consumer can be. This app is easy to use, user friendly and very accurate if one follows the instructions provided. I had the opportunity to check test results with an outside charger testing tool and the accuracy of the results performed on the Amperes Lite app were surprisingly precise. I also had the pleasure of dealing directly with the app’s customer support. My inquiries were met with prompt and courteous responses and I was impressed by the thorough nature of those responses. Customer support was very friendly but also professional and knowledgeable. 5 stars.

Doesn’t actually measure current or power
This app estimates current/power from the charger by measuring the time it takes to increase your battery by 1%, and uses that information, combined with the rated battery capacity to estimate the input power. This is very inaccurate as the % rate of change of the battery is not directly proportional to the charge current, and is effected by the state of charge, temperature and condition of the battery.

Sketchy full screen ads
During the first test the screen was taken over by a predatory ad that tries to deceive you into thinking it’s part of the app. There was no apparent way to close it so I just uninstalled the app. 🤷

Free version is useless
Full page banner ads appear automatically at a regular interval of 30-60 seconds or so. Keep in mind that according to the dev, tests take 3-10+ min& you can not switch apps during the test or it will fail. Banner ad pops up, causing the current test to abort as the app switches over to view the ad. If the free version of an app is supposed to allow users to test drive the program at no cost, one would assume that basic functionality would be included. How do you expect someone to buy your app if this is their initial impression of the UX?

iPhone 11, тестил от зарядного в авто, заряд телефона на момент проведения теста 52%. Первый тест показал 2799 мАмп за 40 сек. Тут же провёл второй тест , показал уже 1866 мАмп за 60 сек. Дома попробовал ещё раз от оригинального зарядного с оригинальным шнурком - 805 мАмп за более, чем 7 минут, при этом в системе длительность теста указана 139 сек. Ну как то , наверное, от сети с оригинальными девайсами то всяко быстрее должен заряжать , чем от обычной автозарядки в прикуривателе. Вобщем неоднозначное впечатление .

Standard charger is 5v 1A= 5W Quick charge Samsung 9v 1.8= 16.2 Q3 is 15W So does this include the rate of discharge. What is this app Update: through limitations of iOS and not the dev make sure you measure with standard charging rectifier at 5v
Ads make it useless
More interest in generating ad revenue than information. Ads are difficult to close. You think you’re closing an ad and instead taken to a screen where can but the product or service.

На одну зарядку тест показывает 5548, следующая 1680. Чтобы проверить ещё надо посмотреть рекламу) Разработчик вы или уберите этот баг или количество тестов увеличьте Только скачал заново, интерес остаётся потестить, всего два теста бесплатных. При учете того что такая погрешность смысла нет

Если после 1.5А измерения становятся неточными, то напишите об этом где-нибудь. Причин не доверять показаниям оригинального кабеля и адаптера не вижу, стало быть, дело в программе?

Thank You Andrew, this app is perfect for my needs. I have the new iPhone Xs Max with fast charge capability. I purchased several adapters, (usb-c & usb-a) & wireless in both formats. I’m testing various cables by different manufacturers. With your app I am able to test all combinations so I can use the accessories with the best results! Also the ability to label the tests helps me keep my results organized! Great app! Keep up the good work! Update:This was for the full app as far as labeling goes.

Doesn’t give the A or V number
Maybe I don’t know how to use this app and I’m ready to correct the ratings if someone point it out to me but the test only gives a number useful for relative comparison. I get a score of 977. What does it mean? There is not even a scale explanation. I’d like to measure if the new chargers I bought perform according to specs like most of the people that downloaded this app and I find it hard to see a good use for this app without having scores expressed in A or V. I do like the UI. Please help me understand if this is a user error or a real shortcoming of this app.
