Horrid
Game glitches too much midplay. Playing Overtime event, game froze as I was up. Game closed, then claimed I lost ball. WTF. This is such a bad standard for a popular game. Ripping away rewards & event energy because your subpar product cant go ten seconds without failing is poor quality assurance. CPU teams ranked mich lower than USER teams somehow block every shot while Users are suddenly unable to hit wide open mid range attempts. All developers of this product should be FIRED immediately. This team is lauy and unispired. Go back to working at the local car wash you bums.
5 year long review
My review was so long that the app crashed when I tried to submit it so after wasting 30 minutes here’s the short version. You can have some fun on the game but don’t expect to be a top player without spending just like all mobile games. There are time gates and the cards you collect constantly get power crept out of the meta. You can put down the game at any time for months or years and within an event or two have a brand new shiny team with more power than you ever had. The chat filter sucks and there’s countless frustrating gameplay mechanics such as not being able to turn around to run backwards so the ball handler just runs past you on fast breaks or the fact that players like Tony Allen aren’t specialized in defense(??) the devs made very questionable decisions by not making any qol changes in years so there’s that. I don’t think they care about the game other than it providing cash flow for them so don’t expect a great game, I’m telling ya. It’s entertaining tho.

Worst face scan yet.
every single year it’s the same thing. The face scan app works terribly and takes hours just to get one scan sometimes. to my shocking surprise it seems like 2K 27’s face scan is the worst yet. billions of dollars a year you make on this game and you can’t make one simple quality of life feature easy on the players. literally the worst part about buying 2K every year is dealing with this stupid useless part to use face scan scan feature.

This game is so slow function,the best thing about this game is the card and how they look after making a team u might play for 20 mins than you’ll play it the next day it not fun and it’s seems to be a other pay to win game but it’s just against AI like come there is noway to play against real players and be consistent on the game

This is the best basketball mobile game I have ever played

Originally my review credited this game with at least being fun. It’s not. The randomness and glitches just makes this unplayable. Not to mention it’s absolutely pay to win. This game creates one of the dumbest most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had on my phone. Just give up on making a 2k mobile. I’d rather lick a cheese grater and bite a lemon rather than redownload this.

This game WAS amazing and then they just did a mandatory update and now it’s TERRIBLE on head to head. The buttons are so delayed or not working at all. And even worse now it just sits on the load screen saying “logging in” except it never logs in and I can’t even play now. Please fix it.

Visual Cue and Contest
Need to add visual cue so it is easier to time shots without meter and contest system doesn’t work properly. CPU always makes every shot in the paint even if it’s smothered

They tried offering competitions through online games, and the more prizes a person prefers, the better. Head-to-head competitions were something I didn't enjoy.

Lazy and bad mechanics
Inputs are anything but smooth, even without all the lag you will get with this game. Games are repetitive and what you can actually do in a game is very limited. The power system is lazy and broken. Having one rating effect every aspect of the game to this degree makes the skill ceiling very low, and team customisation limited. A player rating system like in actual 2k games would me way better

Should be no card limit, old arenas should be playable, turning on auto mode players like Jalen Brunson, Devin booker, and luka doncic do not have a dribble package when they do irl. Some of them shoot so many 3s it doesn’t make sense like Jermey sohan amen Thompson and bob petit, a player from 1955. Please fix the ai. Also there’s network errors.

It has no career mode and it’s boring because as I play I can’t hear anything I turn on my volume and I still didn’t hear anything also the gameplay is boring only the slam dunks make me wake up to reality and nothing else but the game still has good graphics and i guess it’s good

Game needs work. The shooting system is jacked, slow then fast then slow again. You can’t get good at it. Really frustrating. Also defenders just leave their guy for no reason leaving him for a wide open 3. So much potential though, not a bad game.
