Something in the app broke in ios 17.
Updating my review, as it seems like this could be due to iOS17 instead of developer. But as of writing/editing (10/03) this app does not work on iOS17. It is not representing the correct values. ***** Wattage rate is shown tremendously low. None of my wireless chargers show an output of more than 1 watt

Great at testing chargers, but timer alert is off
I have found the app great at testing wireless charging, but with a few issues. Others have mentioned that when testing, you get no indication how far along the testing is. In addition, after clicking start., it can take awhile (enough to charge 5%) before the test actually starts running. Lastly, it’s really important when comparing chargers to test them at the same battery % on the phone (since iPhones charge slower at higher %). There is a timer function to alert you when the battery hits a certain % to account for this. Unfortunately when I set mine at 30%, it alerts me at 26%. Not so helpful.

It’s a bummer that Apple doesn’t tell us how powerful a charger is. This app is not a perfect estimate but it’s the best we have
Learn to Develop an App
Stop selling your poor developments if they can’t work efficiently. It’s not right to be ripping people off. And the app has no real features. I rather deal with the adds than to deal with the lies this app provides.

Warnings are too late
The first thing I saw after I bought this app: “Due to some limitations in current versions of iOS, it's impossible to obtain charging results directly from the system. Therefore, Amperes uses the only available but slow method.” Isn’t this something I should have been told before I bought the app, not after?

This Application doesn’t work well
This Application doesn’t work well, it shows me the same 10-12W charging when I charge by regular 2A charger and by fast charger 40W. It doesn’t its money.
Doesn’t work with MagSafe battery pack
I wanted to see how some stats on my MagSafe battery pack, but the app couldn’t detect that my phone was being charged. I tried changing the test configs to indicate it’s a wireless charger, but it still didn’t work. But does a good job with wired chargers. Overall good product, but wish it would work with wireless chargers too. Still, good stuff Andrew, keep up the good work.
Not as described.
The app description should be updated to reflect that it no longer measures charger and cable performance as advertised. The app developers tell you this AFTER you’ve paid, not before, and that’s bad business.

Why sell it if it doesn’t work for iOS 26?
So you download the app, it’s positioned on the store as being compatible with the current operating system, you agree to purchase the app, and the first thing you’re greeted with is “yeah so it stopped working with iOS 16, got worse with 26, and barely works now, thanks for your money”. It’s extremely difficult to get a reading on a Qi2 charger. Good luck with a Qi1 charger. No way. It took 1 hr and 12 minutes on my Qi2 charger.
Solid app for the price
It does have a handful options for the user to configure for their own needs. I don’t think it’s super accurate but seems to be able to give you a reasonable idea. I have one confusion though: what is the difference between “Amperes” and “Amperes 3”? I purchased two apps already but it seems the new one does the same thing as this one but I cannot find any upgrade options…
Used to work great
I use this app frequently. Since iOS 17 update this app will no longer test wireless charging or MagSafe charging. The percent climbs slower but the app doesn’t register or calculate the charging wattage. Very disappointing. I don’t want to have to pay for another app because this one is t working properly.
Battery capacity Don’t work
The hole reason I bought the app was to be alerted when my battery is at a certain charge amount. However it does not alert me at the set charge number.

While this app has several effective functions, I bought it to see the rate of battery charging. It doesn’t do that.

Close to useless
Doesn't really tell you much that you can't find somewhere in system settings natively. Particularly disappointed with the battery measurement features. Really doesn't tell you much other than whether it's charging, and current battery level, which you can lookup but simply raising your eyes to the IPad's upper right corner.

Если интересует сохранность аккумулятора, или забываете его вовремя отключить от зарядки Искал приложение с оповещением, когда заряд достигнет заданного уровня. Это здесь есть. Помимо напоминалки, есть куча другой полезной информации, даже размеры вашего лопатофона. Из минусов: 1.Настройка заданного уровня находится совсем не в настройках программы главного окна, как ожидалось. Пришлось покопаться, чтобы ее найти. 2.После запуска приложения окно оповещения надо каждый раз выводить на экран и активировать, иначе не срабатывает. 3.Сигнал оповещения короткий, меньше 15 сек, если в эту минуту не был возле зарядного или не услышал его, то о срабатывании никаких признаков нет. Учитывая, что подобной функции не нашел в других приложениях, то за идею оценка 5. За недоработки - пп.1-3 - оценка 4. В итоге - оценка 4, надеюсь увидеть доработанную версию. В любом случае потратил 75 руб. с пользой. При каждой зарядке запускаю это приложение. Еще одно предложение. Если программа может определять ток зарядки (пусть даже и косвенно), то было бы неплохо "приделать" расчет времени зарядки до заданного уровня, чтобы можно было (хотя бы примерно) оценить продолжительность зарядки.

I got a new iPhone 15, and am using this app to establish baseline measurements with a battery at 100% life. I ride a motorcycle, with a phone mount between the handlebars. Years ago I added a cheap qi wireless charge pad to it for my iPhone 11. When the iPhone was new the wireless charger was able to stay ahead of the power demands of the GPS antenna, running Apple Maps and/or SENIC navigation, as well as the Bluetooth link to my helmet. This past year with the iPhone battery aged to 70% capacity I noticed the qi charge pad could no longer keep up, and the iPhone slowly discharged as I traveled down the road. I got this app to let me test and diagnose the devices, but that large pothole in the road dislodged my iPhone from its mount in heavy traffic. I got a new iPhone now – and a case with a tether, to go with the new built in wireless fast charger phone mount. This app is giving me good information to compare with several years from now when this iPhone ages. My initial impression: The screen is static, giving no indication of it’s even working – until it puts up a banner saying the test has concluded. Perhaps the screen could have elapsed time ticking off the seconds, and a line of 5 lights could progressively turn green as the percentage of charge rises. That would keep the impatient user from aborting the test early out of frustration. Aside from that, I like it. It’s a keeper!
Fraudulent Aop
Developer ONLY tells you after purchase that Apple has greatly reduced their ability to perform metrics on your devices battery. So you get nothing, while they already have your money.

Alarm doesn’t work and I get no notifications as to my battery reaching a limit I set . I paid for this app for that very feature. 2 stars alarm doesn’t work

Never does anything
Click Start test and it just says “Starting” leave it there for 20 minutes never does anything. Tried multiple times, reinstalling app, restarting phone, everything I could think of to get it to work and different chargers too. Wireless and wired.. it’s always been this way even when I bought the app over two years ago when I had iPhone 11 Pro Max IR but I came back to try it again and still never does anything just “starting” .. This time with my iPhone 13 latest iOS 17 ..At least the free app worked sometimes if u let an ad run

Way too random and unreliable.
I used to trust this, but recently its just giving random test results. Either all my devices, cables, PSU’s etc have become faculty, or the amp is just not doing what it’s supposed to. Testing 3 times gives huge differences on my iPad Pro 2017 and iPhone XS Max. Each test drops but up to a 3rd of the the previous test. After 3 consecutive tests my 30watt Apple charger went from 25watts, down to 5watts...apparently. This is happening with at least 3 high powered USB C chargers/cables that do actually fast charge fine.

Something is wrong
The app doesn’t work anymore on my iPhone 15 or ios 17. Testing time is taking very long time and the end result shows very low wattage (1 watt) which is not right. Please fix. I paid for this app not too long ago. Didn’t get much use yet.

Интересная программа, несмотря на очень странную методику показала близкие к правде результаты. Есть несколько минусов 1) Батарея у б/у смартфона совершенно не такая, как показывается в программе. Текущая реальная ёмкость моего смартфона после 3-х лет использования 83% от 2750 мАч, то есть 2282мАч. 2) Мощность зарядки все-таки измеряется в Ваттах, а не в Амперах. Особенно актуально для зарядных устройств, которые будут работать с напряжением отличным от 5 вольт. Например, ЗУ с Power Delivery. 3) не работает в фоне. 4) нет рекомендации перевести в режим пониженного энергопотребления, авиарежим, экран на 50% яркости и прочее.

Charging application
This is the only charging application that I found that is decent for iPhone there are a couple of really good ones for android. Instead of having the testing mode, just have it moniter wall current, maximum wattage received to the phone. That way if the battery is not working properly you will know because you can see it in real time.
Doesn’t work anymore
Probably an iOS 17 thing, but now it always says it is charging at ~1W. Which is…not accurate. Hopefully the dev can get this sorted out soon.

Андрей, что значат цифры замера? Это мА? Или какие то абстрактные значения? Учитывается ли при замере нагрузка на батарею (яркость экрана, вкл wifi), или замер заключается просто в том что он считает секунды от процента до процента заряда??? В таком случае замер необъективен.
Doesn’t do what it’s meant to
Does not accurately show charging amps into phone. Not accurate in slightest. Uses a timer to see how long your battery percentage changes? As accurate as measuring wind speed by licking your finger. Gave it two stars cause it’s cheap. Was only more waste of time then money
