I’ve been playing this game for a long time. It never gets old. Don’t ever need to buy in game purchases to have a great time! Challenging enough to keep my interests, easy enough to keep me playing. Def. Recommend!

Pixel blast is not a fun game but sometimes I have to play it to play lemmings.
What is this music?!
I’ve been playing this game for years, now every time i open it some weird song comes on super loud and stops any videos or music I’m playing. I have sound fx and music turned off. Makes it unplayable.
Playing for nostalgia but got boring pretty quickly
I loved lemmings when I played the original PC game and this is a great port. Gameplay is good and it will keep you entertained for a while. The bad: once you have played the first few dozen levels, it very repetitive. There’s very little to really tax you once you’ve got a technique down. The constant ads between levels to get extra spins are an annoyance, which initially, you could skip at the expense of progress. Fair enough. Then forced ads were added. Not so fair. The cost of playing ad free for two hours is frankly, a rip off. Then there’s the loss of progress. I’ve been playing almost every day for months and I’ve lost count of the number of times my days progress has been lost. I logged a ticket with support and eventually I got a response, but not a helpful one. The ads aside, it’s the loss of progress almost daily has me uninstalling and looking elsewhere.

I’ve loved this game since I was playing it on the Super Nintendo back in the day. I wish I could trade in all my insurance “boosts” as I don’t use them and they’re really piling up.
No more optional ads…
I was able to get a VIP trial. It is robust, but also too expensive. As soon as my trial was over, there are more ads than there were before. Until now, I liked this game a lot. It was one of the few that didn’t play ads after every level. You controlled the ads in a way. If you wanted an extra reward, you would watch one, otherwise you could play the game with none. This is no long the case. After every level before the reward spin, there is an ad. While reminiscent of my childhood, it’s likely going to be removed if this keeps up. Update: Now they have 4 tier 20 second ads. Could we also please get the option to turn off the “lemming’s death goo?”

Amazing make a lemming creator app were you can create your own levels for free because when I unlocked the creator I made my own level, but then the other ones costed money. to make so please make an app where you can have infinite making lemming levels for free.
I want to like it but
Why would you turn a simple classic game into a pay to pay overloaded with advertisements and notifications. My least favorite of all the Lemmings games by far.
Game is good, but essentially an ad generator now
I do enjoy the gameplay for sure. But it is essentially an advert generator for the developer at this point. Which is a shame.

This game is amazing, the ad problem has gotten so much better since I last day, I love this game so much it has no problems!
Crashes all the time now
I don’t know if the latest os update or the game versions caused this but the game just crashes every 2 to 3 levels played now. I have tried everything from reinstalling, hard reboots, turning off all background processing and low power mode. I like this game but now it’s become an exercise in frustration. It’s the only app I have running. I have plenty of storage available and I’m running on an iPad with 4 GB of memory. I’ve been playing for a couple years without any issues whatsoever so I don’t know what changed. If this keeps up, I’ll probably cancel my subscription. I hope it gets fixed.

Love the game, but for $6.99 I will only settle for the entire game unlocked forever.
It stopped saving my progress after the latest update
Every time I open the game, it is asking for my age, and after I enter it, I am bombarded with Ads. When I finally close them, I take a look at the levels, only to see that it didn’t save my progress. I already finished the “Cubist” stage and started on “Beach”, but it keeps returning me to “Cubist” as if I never finished it. I really like this game, but this glitch is frustrating. Another thing, the paywall is quiet big and to be honest, it’s unrealistic. I am willing to pay a high amount for a one time purchase, but Never a subscription model. That’s too much. Anyways, I still appreciate the wonderful world, programming and design of this version of the game, and hope for you the best in future updates (please fix the save progress glitch, thank you)
Fun game
It is a fun strategy game that has a lot of strategy to it but it is constantly asking for you to buy different things. And you need these energy things to play and if you run out you have to pay for more and occasionally you can get 10 or less for an ad. So if you don’t spend money on games don’t get it

Free?? What a joke!
I love this game and have since I was young. When I found it free on the App Store I was excited to play. But after so many ads to acquire more “health” aka MOVES, I have run out and there is no way forward other than paying $$ for moves. I don’t even have the option to watch more ads. Sorry Lemmings… but, you have forced me into my own endless maze.
All good, except inappropriate ad
This game is great. There are no forced ads, but when you want to get a bonus item, you have to watch an ad. Some of the ads are inappropriate, with one including the F word. Sometimes, when the ad is finished and you click the x to exit the ad, another x pops up, with that happening several times.
A lot of bugs
After the last update, a lot of bugs appeared: they don't respond to stops, and they can change direction on their own when building stairs.

Level 2 missing tools to complete it
Can’t get passed level 2 because the shovel needed to break down the wall to complete the level isn’t available so the lemmings just walk around in circles

Please! I beg of you to remove some of the money features if now you Have more adds, please add more favorites slots and being able to open the piggy bank for free, since it’s not fair to not get coins back after getting a duplicate, but other than that I LOVE the game
Has potential
This game could be amazing and I really would like to play it more but after 10-15 minutes you’re out of energy and can’t play anymore unless you pay. Apparently there was an update 5 hours ago and now it won’t even load. Popups keep saying it’s trying to connect to the server and then it says it’s unable to retrieve game data from the server😭

I like playing the game but it’s very add driven. It sucks that’s the normal now, but these ads are broken and you don’t get rewards. I keep having to restart the app after I try to watch.

The game is fine, but I gave this just one star because you cannot “x” out of the ads after the allotted time, you have to restart the app. It should not be this way. Time is money. If I have watched your ad instead of paid you money, you got the money from someone else, and you got my time. You got paid. Don’t be greedy.

Crashes endlessly
UPDATE: Feb ‘26: We’re up to FOUR full releases now. Four versions. Crashes on every board today. Support takes weeks to reply, just says “update coming.” They do not give a **** about this game any longer. UPDATE: Three full releases later and it’s still exactly the same. Endless crashes. The support email says an update is coming at the end of the month. Reviews on here continue to spin out. Sad and unnecessary. Zero stars if possible. UPDATE: Two releases later and it still just crashes every time. Devs are obviously preparing to sunset this and don’t care to make it work as a result. - You can play two boards, max, before the game randomly crashes. Energy and tickets gone, progress gone. Two updates haven’t corrected this. Can only assume developers aren’t concerned about it. Support has no answers. Ready to delete. Really a bummer.

I’ve been playing this game for years. I built my coins up to 107,000 there-about. Suddenly last week 10,000 coins were missing. It took customer care a week to respond. And would only gift me 2,000 of my missing coins.
Question
When I purchase a 2 hr play time and I can’t play it for 2 hours straight. Why can’t I turn my iPad off and still be able play it later.

Love this game but….. (developers please read)
Love this game and have been playing it for years but…. There are a couple of tweaks to improve. Please. - Just recently upgraded my phone and now I’m unable to properly see how many resource points due to the Dynamic Island placement. Would be great to adjust the game screen to suit the device you’re playing on. I’m sure my phone isn’t the only one that has this issue. - Getting resource rewards when you’re in a free play time period or when at full capacity is not a helpful reward. Please add a caveat where these are replaced during a free play period or at full capacity. - When opening eggs, watching an ad in attempt to get a new lemming and getting the exact same duplicate…. So annoying! - Multiple egg opening, why is there no option to reopen when duplicates are won? - Recently had a free VIP period which was great and I would definitely pay for VIP if pricing was more reasonable, what you’re asking for is crazy!

Had this game on my phone for a long time, go back to it occasionally. Ads are now now longer optional and the mandatory ones don’t give you anything. Piggy bank is a money grab scam. Good for nostalgia, not much else in the current model.

I have completed 25/25 rocket activities but it’s not letting me click on it to get the reward. Also occasionally annoying as ads seem much longer these days, and occasionally app freezes after one, before you get the reward from it. Otherwise, I love this game. A bit too much!
Actually not a bad game
But rife with screwups, game crashes, lemmings fall through solid floors, lemmings ignore barriers and walk to death. This happens every few levels, a lemming just ignores the stairs you make and falls, devs have a lot more work to do - deleting game because of this, when the lemmings begin killing themselves - game gets quite frustrating And what brought it low - the excessively long ads - most take two to three minutes to complete their cycle
Micro transactions are a joke.
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Lemmings. It’s one of my all-time favourite game franchises and I still play the original version to this day. Although different to the original in terms of gameplay mechanics, I am impressed with this rendition and how it’s adapted to use on a touch screen, and for me it still feels like a Lemmings game and it retains the concept of using skills to solve puzzles and guide the critters to the exit, as well as paying homage to past games of the franchise in various ways (such as with the Tribes). I do, however, think this company is tarnishing the game’s good name by enforcing the infamous “pay-to-win” model upon it. And it’s getting worse too. When it first came out I could easily grind my way through without having to pay, as it gave you coins and rewards for getting duplicate tribal eggs. Now said coins are transferred to a “piggy bank” that you have to PAY ACTUAL MONEY to retrieve! Disgraceful. Pretty much everything is being locked behind a paywall now, and some of the levels are so insanely difficult it just feels like the company are trying to railroad players into forking out for “boosters” and such to make the game easier. Yes, it is a bit easier to replenish some of your energy and Lemmings now if you are willing to sit through adverts, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that the developers are hoping people will become so eager and frustrated that they will eventually cave in and pay them. I appreciate that they include a paid “VIP” pass that eliminates the need to wait for adverts for prizes, but it is subscription-based and therefore you are paying the company forever (unless you cancel). So, a big no-no for me. I would much rather pay a one-off fee for the game or a particular feature to use permanently, not only for a limited time then have to fork out AGAIN to renew. It’s all just greed and jumping on the bandwagon of other time-waster mobile games (like those you see in the adverts). I was excited when new features were added such as the “XP” system, but to actually get any decent prizes from levelling up you need to be subscribed. I pity anybody who actually pays the company, and I’ve noticed most will complain they lost what they paid for when there are updates or technical errors. So PLEASE, developers, stop dumping all over a classic franchise by slapping its name on yet another pay-to-win model. You will lose a star from me for every change you make to try and grab more from people. And while we are here, PLEASE remove the “Brexit Tribe” from the seasons. That is a sensitive political topic that can cause some serious conflict so should NEVER be included in what is meant to be light-hearted entertainment. Another thing is that I spend ages getting high up in the tournaments only for it to be reset whenever there is a new season (I don’t even get a prize for where I was). It would also be nice to be able to replay previous levels, but the developers obviously disapprove of people grinding rather than pay their absurd prices for subscriptions so make this impossible. Finally, a retrospective review here, but I was personally rather disappointed with the 30th anniversary content. There was potential for so much, yet what we got seemed a bit lazy. From the description I was under the impression that there were going to be actual graphics and music from the original Amiga version, but what we got was a simple palette-swap job and mediocre renditions of just two of the original music tracks, one on loop in the hub and another on loop in every level (I don’t understand why none of the original songs are in the game in the first place). It wasn’t “bad”, but just could have been MUCH better. I suggest that the developers research the original game a bit more thoroughly next time if we ever do get any more retro modes in the future, if not they could simply try putting a little more effort into the content. So many users are foolish enough to succumb to the greedy micro transactions, whilst everyone else sits through boatloads of ads to actually progress each time we play, so it’s not as if the developers are short of funds to make this possible. Please take on board this feedback and if the above issues are resolved (WITHOUT trading off something we DO like about the game) it may get another star. As I have said, the game itself is great. The pay-to-win elements are not. Thank you, RickyRoo UPDATE 2025: The crashing appears to be fixed, and the other skills are no longer locked behind a paywall, which is brilliant. I have therefore edited those parts out of my original review and give you another star. However I am getting tired of being booted out of tournaments all the time just for not logging in every day. Why can’t you just give people the prize for where they were and/or just start at that level again instead of just “abandoning” the tournament and making us start right from the bottom? At the very least take away that patronising message saying “next time log in within 48 hours”. Some of us do have a life outside of gaming you know! UPDATE: why can we not have spaces in our user names? The default “Lemming McLemming” does so why can’t we? A space is NOT a “special character” (and why CAN’T we use those either?), and why allow spaces to be entered if you don’t accept it?

Fun cute game play that is very entertaining
Pay to win and glitchy
It’s genuinely the most capitalist hellscape game I’ve ever played. Want to open your daily spin? Pay money or watch an ad. Want to play the game? Pay money because they added a cute little energy well that runs out every move you make. I remember playing this game on the psp it was so good! Some of the new features are fun but honestly it’s not worth the constant bombarding if asking for my money. Genuinely when I open the app it’s like I’m walking through homeless encampments with my wallet just open.
