Lost all my topic ideas
Since TubeBuddy has rolled back the UI to the version previous to the disaster talked about below, it’s back to the app that I use multiple times a day. The topic planner is back and all my topics have been restored. Everything works as it should and its my goto to see how videos are doing TubeBuddy mobile used to be a good app. I’d check it multiple times a day. This latest update makes it pretty much unusable. First of all, the new updated deleted all the video topic ideas I had created on the app. Months of work creating ideas are now gone. The subscriber count is so small I need my glasses to see it. The number of videos, views and subscribers needed for the next milestone are gone or don’t work. Toggling on hide comments with replies turns itself back off on its own. Looks like I’ll be saving $2.99 a month by dropping this app. It’s a shame because I really liked the previous version.

Laggy, tiny UI, and throttled features
First Impressions on the new TubeBuddy update! First off, swiping up and down makes your phone lag like crazy. Secondly, It seems a little too overly complicated for what it is. For example, they’ve made the buttons, thumbnails, and text smaller so you have to be more mindful trying to click on things, thus killing the convenience of quickly wanting to check analytics or read comments. If you’re in a car bumping up and down, the last thing you want is a mobile app that has these characteristics. They’ve even changed their app icon to be smaller as if to signify the “theme” of the new update. I’ve used this app for years and it was not like this. It started out being smooth, larger buttons, and easy to navigate. One day they decided to throttle about one third of all the features, which made me not want to use it. It’s sad to see such a great app go downhill. Just use YouTube studio now.
I want this app to do better cause I do love it
It’s absolutely no doubt it’s probably hands-down the best app to keep track of likes dislikes, views videos, etc. everything‘s great up to the point where you filter everything out just public videos look at at them all say oh good great close the app come back into it. Can’t filter out anything anymore. It’s frustrating especially when you do shorts and you get ahead of the game and you have yourself a good month of shorts that are scheduled now you got a months worth of videos to filter through just to see the ones that are posting today fix that and your app will be golden…. don’t just brush this off because I can tell you there’s other apps chasing your heels and if you don’t fix your stuff, they’re gonna overtake you and then you’ll become a distant memory.
Great but…
The subscriber count is still not updating. And I don’t want to delete the app and reinstall it and then I loose all the previous information, like it happened last time. I hope you are able to solve asap. Good job!
Terrible App
I am being charge $19 per month for an App that I cannot open. I have tried canceling, but due to the App not functioning I cannot cancel this dysfunctional App!

Nice Ui I like this update but it’s very buggy logs me out and keeps restarting pls fix
Not bad just disappointing
Overall the app is useable but collectively it is incredibly laggy, barely syncs with your channel and unless you pay for pro the apps features are minimal. If you desperately need to track your views and subscribers AND haven’t found the YouTube studio app. Go ahead and download this app. I will note the browser extension is great! However, this app feels like the neglected middle child that gets left at the grocery store. TLDR: Service is great, app is next to useless which is worse than useless. Use YouTube Studio until they add some features that aren’t in studio (unrestricted content planning, Brainstorm area, upload checklist, and so many more).
Go back to the old app!
One of the rare occasions were an update looks good but the app itself works much worse. A lot of bugs!
Can’t log in
I have the paid version after updating my phone I I am unable to login
No option to cancel
This is a horrible app in that I’ve been trying to cancel it and it’s not located under subscriptions at all. They steal 10 from me every month and I still can’t cancel it.
It’s a great app~But!
I’ve been using this app for about three years, but in September it stopped working. I’ve used it to track my new viewers and each time I reach 5000 more it has been giving me the same date for each new month it’s been earned for the last three months. It’s not a big deal but it should be fixed!
Crashes too much
It’s gotten to where it don’t keep up with the views, subscribers count or the likes and now on my recent milestone on uploaded videos it doesn’t show the certificate thing when you want to share it
Last update was a downgrade
Either that or it still needs to be tweaked

Very poor
Very poorly maintained app. Not having a subscriber count anymore is very disappointing too. It just feels like quite a forgotten and tired app whilst the YouTube Studio app has moved on and evolved. The app developers really need to give the Tube Buddy app a complete overhaul.

Took permissions for my account then crashed
App had me sign in to my account, get permission to access the account, then crashed keeps crashing anytime I try to sign in. Something feels fishy and I can't revoke access to my channel.

Great app for tracking progress and milestones, especially as a new channel, but after recent update it stopped tracking user count and has a few other bugs. Should be easy to fix but they’ve left it broken for a while now, just roll it back so everything works again and it will be a 5*.
The best app
The app is the best app ever
New UI is bad. Uninstalled for multiple reasons.
The new UI it too counter intuitive. You can no longer see your dislikes, WAS a better alternative to going to the web version of YouTube on mobile. The information changed to a point that isn’t as easy to understand. Now an all white app, thanks. I like being blinded on an entire dark mode phone. Not really. The UI before was nice, simple, and easy to navigate. Clearly whoever signed off on this new UI, has ZERO idea how to navigate apps.
iPad version - landscape
This app is brilliant for what it does and I am very happy with it - on my phone. iPad it’s just the phone version and, like insta, you HAVE to use it in portrait mode. Meh! Please please PLEASE build a dedicated iPad version or better still make the iPad version like a Mac version as it can totally handle it now with iPadOS and trackpad / mouse support.
Acting weird all of sudden.
When I initially downloaded the app it was good. However, a few months in it started to glitch. The milestones stopped loading accurately. This occurred for a few weeks, so I deleted the app and reinstalled to attempt to fix the problem. That did not fix the problem. What it did was erased all of my milestones, no milestones are currently loading. I emailed support and they took multiple days to respond, only to tell me to delete the app and reinstalled. I advised them that I’ve already tried that prior to contacting them. It took days for them to respond again, only to tell me that it is a bug that is causing the issue, and they are working on it. I’m completely aggravated with because I’ve got some milestones that I would’ve loved to document, but was unable to because it is not working properly. I really wish they would fix this soon.

Now milestones don’t work right and even worse, searching Key words for seo doesn’t work anymore. Pointless now. I’m giving it 3 stars because it was a 5 and now it’s a 1. Please fix and I’ll give it a 5 star.

Great but needs a iPad version app

I love using this to manage my YouTube account and the milestone certificates are also a pretty coo added bonus. Gives you a checklist of what to do when you upload a video to get maximum publicity. GREAT APP.

Great app for small channels, one problem...
It’s great for small channels and it lets you know how many subscribers you have- (live subscriber watch) and it shows you all the stats on your latest videos or oldest. One problem though, when I gain views on YouTube it doesn’t increase on the app, plz fix that but everything else is spot on👌✅
False information
This app is ok. It’s showing dislikes on this app. When all of my videos on YouTube have no dislikes. So if your going to tell people fake information better get it right.
Buggy
The app is so buggy. Especially when trying to tag videos. It either freezes when you hit the apply tag button or the app crashes all together. Been doing it since i downloaded it. Youll go through pick a bunch of tags in the suggestions and when you go to apply it glitches.

DON’T RECOMMEND!
First the data is incorrect in tube body. For instance, it does not show the correct number of views, it fails to capture the hashtags in the suggested designated areas, etc. Although it’s only $2.99 monthly- it’s not worth it to me because this info is literally FREE online and there are EXTREMELY limited tools available with PAID or non paid. Absolutely no difference!
REALLY WANT TO GIVE 5 STARS
TubeBuddy is undoubtedly the best YouTube optimisation and keywords research tool. Been using its chrome extension from months now. Extension is flawless, but the app is slow in its comparison. Options respond slowly. You have to wait a few seconds after clicking on any option to get it loaded. Plus, I found a bug on the tags explorer page where it shows "Create List" at the bottom of the page when trying to copy tags to a list even though list already exists. Overall, I totally trust this project. Will surely get its premium subscription on my phone once it gets more stable. Eagerly waiting for that!

The chrome extension is nice and powerful. But I’ve yet to see a useful mobile app update. Needs a major overhaul. Hasn’t changed in years. The app is glitchy and not useful.

Love the app
Great app. But needs to be supported better on iPhone X/Xs/Xs Max. I can’t go back. Or navigate. Unless I force close the app, to get back to the start page. 5 stars though for general use. ☺️

Useless app..
Love-hate situation
First of all I LOVE some of the features of this app. It’s a lot easier to be able to see key info about your videos, celebrate milestones (however big or small), add tags, check what you can improve etc. The downside is that at some point in the last 6 months the app became SUPER buggy. Examples: The like count on videos goes up and down in the app even though the actual like count isn’t moving. Thumbnails don’t always appear next to the correct video. Milestones appear to occur on one day then change the next (again when the source data hasn’t actually changed). Very much using it because it’s such a good tool but yeah, those bugs need spraying.
