- Shows church fathers commentaries on each verse
- No ads and easy to navigate
- Works great without crashing or lagging
What they complain about
- Wish it had more languages

Great app honestly
Will there be any updates? It’s been 3 years since the last update
Inaccessible commentaries
The links to full commentaries do not work
Almost perfect
It’s near perfect. The only thing I wish for is the ability to highlight multiple verses at once and send or save them.
More Languages
It would be nice to have a German translation.
Helpful
It’s so good for finding what people who spent their lives studying Gods word believed
You are stuck with a rubbish KJV2000 bible
Give the option for the original KJV

The best Bible App
I highly recommend this app to anyone interested in reading the Bible. No ads, just connecting you closer to God.
Love this app
Good App, a little bit buggy. Sometimes when I select a scripture, it doesn’t change from the previous scripture I was reading. I’ll update my review when this gets fixed. Thank you for all your efforts! God Bless
Great Read
I really enjoy reading the writings about verses or chapters to get a deeper sense of what’s being said, or what those writers thought at that time.
Great, but language barrier
amazing app, but i wish it had more languages to choose from
Great App
Love the app, so easy to navigate
love it
The app works really great, It had the right version of the bible and it never lags/crashes. I also like the feature where you can make your own reading plan. It really helps me to be consistent and it works well. However i would like if you could add a feature that lets a voice read it for you so you can listen to it while biking, driving or any other activity. But I definitely recommend this app to others.
A Great Resource!
Catena is an awesome resource. To have the wisdom and insight of the Saints so closely at hand is tremendous. This App is so helpful! It’s the first place I turn to when I find a difficult verse, or when wanting to learn more about my favourites. Thank you for your hard work!
Very good app!
I like it a lot, but I would appreciate more languages and being able to chose when the notifications come. But still, very good app.
The best bible app for Copts
Really good to understand what the church fathers have said and it helped me in my journey to become a better Christian
