What people like
- Great for downloading multiple images from one page
- Blocks many embedded ads automatically
- Very useful and convenient tool overall

What they complain about
- App crashes frequently and won't open
- Language suddenly changed to Japanese with no fix
- Ads interrupt you constantly or limit daily saves
- Only downloads low resolution thumbnail images
One of my favorite small apps
I’ve been using iDig for a very long time and have always been satisfied with how it works. I think many people simply don’t realize how useful this app is — it’s so convenient to have software that lets you download multiple images from a page at once. I used to have another app like this, but it eventually “died.” iDig still works perfectly. In Android there is also an effective app for downloading multiple images, but that app is extremely expensive. iDig is both highly effective and free. A premium version is available for a very small price compared to what you must pay for a similar Android analog. Huge thanks to the developers for continuing to maintain and support iDig!

B+
I like it for the most part but for me ur only downloads the thumbnail version of pictures. Say it’s a big pic, you’ll only get what the platform dimensions call for. Big pictures get cropped on website and when saving it on this app. I hope it gets fixed.
Great!
i can use it to get hd profile pictures, thanks!

This app’s interface is suddenly all in Japanese, and I cant find an option to change it back.
This app worked well for me for months, but suddenly the interface is set to Japanese, and even when I use Translate and screen shots I can’t find an option to turn it back to English.
Years of Downloading Images
I’ve been using this app for several years now with absolutely no trouble. When it digs deeper and finds the larger files, it makes life much easier. However, I upgraded recently to iOS 17, and the feature of capturing the URL and going to that page doesn’t work anymore. Instead goes to a Google search on an Asian Google site will not go to the actual website. Is this a setting problem because I reset the app and it still does it. I clear the cash constantly that doesn’t change anything. I paid for a lifetime use of this app. But if it doesn’t work anymore, what’s the point? I’m giving a four star rating because of how successful it’s been in the past with the assurance that support will fix this problem.
New upgrade doesn’t have English anymore!!
Please fix up and bring back the English language something went wrong last upgrade only Japanese writing!
Super useful but…
I find that this app is super useful. Although this is the case, I think it lacks the ability to truly bypass through thumbnails and get the high res batch images. Certain apps like “Photofile” use this functionality quite well. I believe this feature would improve the this app’s designed!
Fantastic and easy to use
My only issue is, several of the FAQ suggest video downloading is capable with the features but I have yet to see a function that allows it
Was good until they added premium
The title really explains it all. It was a great app to quickly search and save images, but then they added a premium, so now if you try and save more than 6 images a day, you can’t.
Great!
Works really well. My only gripe is that I can’t select which specific images I want to download
Great app
I can’t say enough about how this app downloads original and linked images on almost every page you browse to. It even blocks most ads that are embedded in pages. The only thing I could ask for is that it would save original photo names instead of the file numbers some image sites assign uploads. Get this if you need a reliable bulk image downloaded.
6 Downloads Per Day, Lame
Software should be good enough that you want to pay for it, instead developers cripple their software into forcing you to pay for it. I was considering paying the very high price for this app - on it's merits, but now that the developer has crippled the software, I'll be looking elsewhere because I disagree with this philosophy
Awesome App!
Great App! Only problem I am having after weeks of using is that I changed a setting in the app and now it will not open the app. It’s tries to open, sits there about 10 seconds then closes. I really do not want to delete the application and lose all my data
What happened to it being in English?!
I have been using this app for over a year, and all of sudden it’s in Japanese?! What happened? How do I change it back.
Can you add a sort order for each photo selection
Can you add a sort order for each photo selection
Love it
Works great! Easy and fast. There are ads, but it’s worth it bc this is the best app for downloading photos I’ve found.
Unfriendly user interface
When selecting multiple images to save to local files or something else, it only exports 2 images. Also, the app gives images the exact same generic filename, rather than the filename from the webpage.
It’s almost perfect
Powerful and easy to use bulk downloads app Would be interesting to be able to have slideshows while reviewing the downloads
Fantastic yesterday, Unusable Today
This APP is phenomenal. I purchased yesterday and it worked great. Today it keeps crashing while browsing images.
App is great but
After most recent update….language is on Japanese and I cannot change it back to English. Need help in changing language back to English…thank you
Incredible. However... one big issue. Fix??
Absolutely love this app. Thank you so much! However, often when I select images and turn to pdf, the pdf page comes up completely white. It’s happening more frequently and I’ve paid for the app twice to have it on my iPad AND iPhone. Endlessly helpful but PLEASE fix this! Stay safe x have a great weekend or week. Whenever you get this. x
Need select all option!
Need select all option for forward to photos
Was working great now not so much
Was working fantastic previously. Went to use it today and every time you try to open the folder containing your saved photos it crashes. Hopefully they can fix it
Good, but awkward to use
Puts images from one page into one folder. You can merge folders, but get an error if you try to merge folders that have already been merged. And to move images to the camera roll or other folder, you have to select each image individually. There sold be a select all so you can move whole folders
Language change
Since update, can no longer use in English
Crashing
Crashing when downloading a certain file
Doesn't work. Waste of time!
Poor user interface. NOT intuitive. Doesn't download images. Waste of time.
User
How do you manage to delete folder? I can’t seem to do so.
The images on google are really low resolution.😔
Very low resolution images and that ruins the hope app.
How to translate?!?!
Where’s the translate button??!? Couldn’t make this easier to find??! Kinda lame that I can’t locate and translate.
Great features!
I love the image grouping and folders! I do find that if I’m downloading a lot of images the success prompt getting irritating though!
Doesn’t work as described.
Does not save all selected pictures in folder to camera roll.
Wish it could save videos
Wish it could save videos
Facebook images ignored
Images on Facebook are ignored. I realize the images URLs there may be deconstructed in JavaScript, but please find a way to reconstruct them.
Good for Some Sites but not Instagram
Doesn’t work for saving photos from Instagram, but would still be useful for other sites. The Developer took the time to respond to my original review, to let me know that Apple actually forbids developers from creating a feature that would allow users to download Instagram images through Safari.
