Unreliable
The entire day I have spent trying to top up and renew my monthly plan but the app just wouldn’t load. I tried using 5G and different WiFi networks. It just doesn’t load. Always showing “Bong Smart is tidying up. Tap reload to see the magic!” But when you tap on it, it’s just the same loading blank screen again and again.

Account switching and Login
The app experience was great. One thing though, I would love a feature to login via some shorts of email account in addition to the personal number verification with OTP. The OTP is a secure way to get access, but since my number is on an eSIM iPad, which is a very complicated way to work around since the normal text OTP messages would not get through, and transferring the eSIM back and forth is a bit too exaggerating. Hence worth mentioning that I could not get access to my SmartNas Account with my iPad’s eSIM, to the app which I couldn’t get my service renewed. Through the banking apps data packs service, and pinless balance refills, I would have to wait my account to magically renewed on its own without the app access.
Web app
The app does its job, but it’s filled with ads, and felt like a web app. Make a better user friendly app pleasssseee. Everything is so so small. Every time i opened the app, there’s a lingering feeling it’s gonna crash. 50% of the time, it crashed

Force users to update before using
Bad experience. When you not updated but there is an updated version, the app will force you to update even using cellular data. If you don’t update, you cannot use it. Why not give an option to update later on WiFi?

Misleading alert
When you run out of money and your plan is not active anymore and you are not connected to wifi but you enabled mobile internet(which you don't have active because plan is ended), you open the app, press top up, select visa and they say this option is not available, go to the store. But if you connect to wifi then it works and you didn't actually need to leave your house

App doesn’t work
I am not able to top up on the app. When I attempt to add money the app won’t allow me to access my account. I’ve gone to Smart stores to try to fix it but it still isn’t working.
Seems ok but since latest update is buggy for me
Ever since the latest update, it doesn't show my latest plan details and says "something went wrong" tried installing again and same issue. Also when selecting a plan and pressing "yes" the app crashes to home screen. Using a iPhone 5S - never has this issue before. Any other users with this issue?

Horrible App
About as useful as a tooth ache. Bad design that gives minimal information about your plan, but does have many many adds. Don’t even try using customer service, they have no idea what that is.
Slow pathetic 4G speed, Worst network
4g speed test was at a miserable 15 mbps. pathetic company, pathetic network!

Hard for a traveller
Recently over from Australia. Paid Us$15. No calls and only a little data (social media scrolling and Google maps) and already expired. Partner on Metphone got me out of a tight spot and shared data. Was told I had 80gb and $20 of calls and will avoid buying from smartphone booth at the airport.

APP WILL NOT OPEN
For the past few days the app will not open. While the app is trying to load, it will crash and close the app within 10-20 seconds. I’ve tried to reinstall the app and restarted my phone and it is still crashing. EDIT: problem has been fixed
App doesn’t work
I click Get Sim and the app says it’s checking but never goes anywhere. I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max so I know I already need an eSIM. So app is pretty much worthless. And you can’t buy service (and eSIM) from their website. This company must be stuck in the Stone Age.

Can’t use Smart NAS from Australia
Before I could access smart NAS from Australia and check my balance and keep my sim from not expiring ... but now I get a warning page saying that there is a block saying “access denied” this website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks .... have you blocked IP addresses from Australia?
