Wow a bad review gets you killed
I wrote a review on the glitches in the game yesterday. Today I have not survived more than 90 seconds in the game. The game starts I am already on fire and flooding. I get hit with guns I flood. Torpedos cause fire and flooding. Damn the CCP and Russians really don’t like freedom of speech

Great game but pls add the same experience with the aircraft carrier like one pc.
More broken than ever
I’ve been playing this game for years and it just gets more broken as the months and years roll on. The matchmaking is worse than it’s ever been, the bugs continue to pile up, and all the developers ever do is to add more features without fixing the game’s core problems. They respond to every negative review with “we’re continually making improvements” or similar, but I’m yet to see them. It’s no wonder many of the game’s long term players have abandoned it, which is a real pity, but there’s only so long you can play a game when it’s clear the developers aren’t listening to the player base.
Just why
First off to get other ships they a lot and why random battles why does the enemy team have more better fire armor and way faster well our team is paper than metal even though your game is good it’s just round that are just too frustrating

Bad update
This update failed to bring special customization due to its debuffs and equipment limitations in slots 1-6. It has also broken the silver economy and bonds are useless while costing way too much while earning too little especially from the event.

I like playing this game, but it crashes and I have to re-enter the game. What’s going on? Is it something on my end? I play it on my iPad. It never crashes on my iPhone.
100 different pop ups
Same as all mobile games there’s a million free rewards as soon as you open the game but you can get even better rewards if you pay! Every match at least 5 enemy ships only target you the ai crash into you constantly and the gameplay is stale every ship costs way too much and why do I need to spend research and money why not just money? Idk who you got to say the voice lines in battle but fire them

Matchmaking a joke
If you enjoy playing games where the matchmaking is so one sided, then this game is for you. Matchmaking has been a joke for many years in this game, and with the recent big changes to the game, it has become even worse. The game is now so unbalanced its funny to watch. Update to developers response: taking just ship tiers is all well and good, but several years ago this was meant to have been update to take in other factors as well. So now I know this hasn’t been implemented, by your own admission, and therefore matchmaking is STILL so very much one sided. It’s a shame as this is a good game in essence.

I started years ago in the 80’s playing Squad Leader, a WW2 board game. Then Panzer General in the 90’s on my computer. This game is outstanding. I’ve been playing for the past 4-5 years. Have fun!
Don’t waste you time
Thought this would be a good game. Your shots scatter like you’re firing a shot gun. For some reason when my torpedos hit an enemy they do 500 damage but when they hit me they do thousands. No matter which cannon or shell type is used, more than likely you’ll only get a fraction of the damage and spend the entire round fighting one ship due to this. When you get hit by an enemy it’s no less than 3-5k damage but you rarely can get that on the enemy ships. Idk if it’s due to a bad match making system, terrible game mechanics or just bad luck but have played 16 games each of which I am in the top 3 for both teams and have only won 2. Lost 12 games and draw on 2. Not fun to play.

This games is fine graphics could use work, this games is rly just a horrible version of wows legend. And if u want something in the game that’s actually good you’re going to have to pay or be disappointed by the fact of working hard but getting no where even the ad crates suck 100 ads and have a 3.7 percent chance of getting a ship with over a 100 ships in the crate

What sets most World of Wargaming sets apart is the attention the developers pay to the physics in their games. That’s where the real WarGaming magic happens. In this game, you can practically feel the weight ships swing to turn in the water. Projectiles fly with realistic arcs and randomness. Even the ship’s slight bob on the water is enough to make you seasick. Well maybe not that realistic, but you get the idea. For me, the physics of a game is what keeps me engaged, and Wargaming are masters in this realm (with the exception of their flight team, but that’s for another review).
New upgrades & Do the math
The latest offer is to watch 100 videos for a crate and a chance at some awesome ships. The problem is that you have only a .01% chance of the ship you want. That is 1 chance in 10000 crates. Assume you are average lucky and it only takes 5000 crates you will have to watch 500,000 videos! The percentages on a lot of the crate offerings are way out of line with the rewards. It may be easier to win powerball than to get an alaska with the video method. FYI. Watching 500,000 videos at 30 seconds each is 4166 hrs or 173 days of 24/7 video watching. Wow!

random game matching remains the worst part of the game, developers don’t think it’s a problem. matching algorithm keeps you in 50%-60% win ratio unless you have you own team with comms. Aside from that game is fun.

I like this game a lot in fact I don’t leave reviews of anything. The only issue I have is make it accurate. An aircraft carrier cannot outrun a destroyer.

It used to be a good game but now they’ve lost their balance now tier 10 is absolute garbage they give the new inexperienced players high tier ships making matchmaking horrible wargaming ruined their game.

While ships in the game are, compared to other games out there, quite balanced versus other games' approaches, war gaming balances PLAYERS with a match maker that attempts to balance good players and bad players together on a team. this yields incredibly frustrating matches where you end up watching idiots do the dumbest things possible, and you can often tell by watching the mini map in the first fifteen seconds of the game, and seeing which directions your randoms move, if you will win or lose that battle. if they go to the fight, you will likely win, because your team can focus fire, but you'll often see one or two ships more to the edge, and you're screwed. it used to be that if you were a good player, you'd at least get a random chance of getting a decent team,,but now when you stay active and play too much, the matchmaker purposely puts "bad" and "casual" players on your team because it thinks you need to be nerfed. so, now you chances of winning are LESS than random. so, their hard core, enthusiast players are PUNISHED for being active because war gaming's stupid bean counters think its more important to get a few new players to last for a thousand games instead of 200, and maybe spend a few bucks than to have a hard core group of players for YEARS play for thousands of games on a balanced and fun gaming framework. my whining aside, the game has its merits. it is the best game of its kind i've found and the ship to ship balance is fine, there is little pay to win. there is pay to get a slight advantage, and there are a couple ships (smolensk, atlantico) which have been for years waaaaay to overpowered, but MOST ships and tiers are balanced realistically.

Worst update ever
Oh cool I get 37m silver as "compensation". So how much does it cost now to re equip and upgrade the equipment for the over 50 ships I already had equiped? Well over 1 billion credits!!!!! Did you buff credits earned? NO! WHY DO WE NOW HAVE TO SACRIFCE OUR PROGRESSION IN THE GAME JUST TO RE EQUIP SHIPS WE ALREADY HAD EQUIPED!? This is stupid! Now its going to take more than twice as long to progress in the game.

Latest update of april 2026
It started fine. Very weird bot update. ...until they started jumping in time like if lagging and you missed your shots...by 20 seconds. Easy to see the lag was not on my side; bots jumped 20 seconds in time but human players (not just me) did not. Now I just can't log in the game. I do hope there is currently an update....
Surprisingly good! But……..
Game is good but could be excellent if teams were made up of same skill players. All to often players can be found in battleships nowhere near the battle which obviously leads to very frustrating game play, including a needless loss and a heavy hit on battle points.

Good game. Typically good updates. Plenty of variety for free play. Good mix of historic ships, and fictional to keep it interesting.
If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it
This company won’t listen to their player base to fix the things that irritate us, but instead they come up with new ideas like the latest “equipment” update - which did not adequately compensate veterans for the time and effort put into choosing their old equipment loadouts, the hassle of choosing and re-equipping loadouts on every single ship you already had configured the way you wanted it, and a lot of the new equipment cancels out the things you wanted, or forces you to choose equipment you don’t want in a slot. This is an epic fail, and also way harder for kids.

I couldn’t even make it through the first level of campaign without all of the enemies targeting me I hate it but the game besides that is pretty good so good game trouble camping
Scam Ads
Been playing for a number of years. Slower pace when I just want to relax and no toxic game chat like WOTB. WG YOU NEED TO DO BETTER AT VETTING THE ADS!!! why are scam ads allowed on your platform??? The ones that warn of a security alert or want you to allow access to something. This game needs to be age restricted or a SCAM warning in the description until WG fixes this.
Was better…
Since newest update they are a lot of glitches and „jumpings“ like never before! Shooting at a ship, to recognise that the ship is already 100meters more far away in 2sec and you are still shooting and 2 secs later you recognise they already killed you! Your game cost a lot of money…!!
The best warship game ever!
I served in the Navy for 31/2 years as a sonar technician. I have never seen anything like this simulation before on my iPad or offered on my Xbox or PlayStation 5. It has no equal. Just you sit below in a berthing space behind and below a 5 inch 54 gun mount for an hour while that gun fires away at a target on an island on Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico at 5:30 in the morning and you’re still asleep. I bet that’ll wake you up in a hurry! I did! I smacked my head right on a steam pipe, thank goodness it was wrapped. Anyways, WOWs is the most awesome game I’ve ever played, and the sound quality is just perfect too.
Torpedoes are over the top
I’ve never seen a game where even if the torpedo doesn’t hit you it still goes off and you lose ship points! And what’s with the constantly getting booted off the game right when a battle is supposed to begin! Time you get back in depending on where you were you could be sunk already…I’ll tell you being I play on an iPad, that really sucks
New update tanked this game for me
I’ve played this game for almost a decade and it’s been one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played. I started on World of Tanks Blitz and have had World of Warships Blitz since it came out on mobile. I enjoyed every moment…right up to this new update. This new update shakes a HUGE part of the game. Previously equipment was used to buff your ships, now it’s more of a nerf than a buff in almost every capacity. Not only does your equipment not help as much as it did previously but it also hurts you by having negative drawbacks for using it. You’re better off just not having any equipment, unless you want to spend an absurd amount of real money on microtransactions to get the “legendary” equipment. Really bummed by this update
Crashes about 50 % of the time
It’s a good game, it used to be better, because it used not to crash constantly. Usually , by the time you’ve loaded again to rejoin the game you have been destroyed and penalised hundreds of points. Like so many things, this game is getting worse with time.

Really good in loads of different ways except the loading. If you dont have anything but the best internet connection you’ll be waiting for a fortnight for the game to even open. Went to play it on my break at work but the time the game loaded it was time to go back in. Shame really

I do not like the most recent update. The new equipment choices are convoluted and unnecessary. The change in showing the enemy’s power level is distracting.I have been playing this game so long this is the 3rd ipad since I started and this version is an abomination. Do better!

This could be a really good game, but after 7 years of playing the lack of resolution to issues is a huge problem. E.g. Bot ships move with irrational and nonsensical moves. They can spin on the spot, change direction like nothing else on the water. This has been flagged many times by many people around the world yet the developers have done nothing to resolve this along with many other bugs in the game.
