Great car
Rented this car to transport a small kitchen. It fitted in easily. The drive is excellent and comfortable. A real Peugeot :)

Er zit wel heel veel marge tussen wat een huurder betaald en een verhuurder vangt. Die verzekeringspremie, is die echt zoveel hoger dan wat je als consument betaald? Met zoveel eigen risico? Geloof er weinig van dat snappcar geen betere deal zou kunnen onderhandeen met een verzekeraar.
Had to pay 10 euros and verification failed
They stole my 10 euros. You have to send 10 euros to verify your bank account, but it deducted 10 euros from my bank account and said "whoops verification failed". Then I get an unhelpful AI chatbot. Bad bad app
SnappCar neemt veel, geeft weinig
Als verhuurder ervaar ik niet de flexibiliteit en steun die ik verwacht. Bovendien gaat een relatief groot gedeelte van de huurprijs naar SnappCar. Nieuwe ontwikkelingen gaan meer richting commercialisering dan richting ondersteuning van de deeleconomie beweging. Spijtg.

Geniaal concept, maar hoge servicekosten
SnappCar is een geniale en gebruiksvriendelijke app waarmee je eenvoudig een auto in de buurt kunt huren. Alleen zijn de servicekosten tegenwoordig veel hoger dan in de beginjaren. Daardoor wordt het totaalbedrag soms wel erg hoog. Goed concept, maar de extra kosten zijn een beetje te veel van het goede.
Wat een verslechtering die nieuwe app
Echt klote hoe de app nu is ingericht. De opmaak is nu zo gemaakt dat ik veel meer moet klikken voordat ik de filters zo heb als ik ze hebben wil. Zeker op een kleiner scherm is dit heel onhandig. Degene die dit bedacht heeft moet terug naar de schoolbanken om te leren over klantvriendelijke app inrichting ipv dat het er gladjes uitzien. Zou vroeger wel maar nu niet meer aanraden. Heel jammer dit.

It was a pity that although I could change the reservation to start an hour later (or end it earlier), the price wasn’t adjusted to reflect the actual rental time. Other than that, both the car and the overall experience were perfect for the trip I had in mind, and the owner was responsive
Support ist eine Frechheit
Das Konzept und die App gefallen uns sehr gut. Angesichts der recht hohen Gebühren ist es jedoch absolut inakzeptabel, dass der Support quasi nicht existent ist. Ich habe bei verschiedenen Buchungen an unterschiedlichen Tagen während der offiziellen Servicezeiten angerufen – leider ging nie jemand ans Telefon.

Only ever low mileage allowances on most cars. Often features additional « hidden » costs on cars. Overall a good selection.

Customer services unreachable and irresponsible
You are left with no support after 11 pm! Totally not worth the risk! While returning the car after 11 a night, it locked and then unlocked. I was left with an unlocked car, unable to reach customer service. Additionally challenging was that the next booking would start at 7 am, before the customer services are open. So the next customer would be affected by this too. My calls to the emergency line got disconnected after being on hold for 10 minutes. The AI chatbot simply shared someone would be back with me in the morning. It left me standing on the street in the middle of the night. Luckily the owner got online after an hour, and we a managed to close the car. All customer service did in the morning was sharing a meagre apology for the inconvenience…
Great service, last minute bookings needs work
Love having good cars available in my neighborhood. We often need to rent last minute though and this part needs some work. The search returns cars but when you go to book, it says not bookable. Instant bookings don’t show up if your rental window is too close. Hopefully they can fix this.

Snel en betrouwbaar
Ik huur en verhuur al 10 jaar via dit platform en het is gewoon top! Snel inchecken en direct wegrijden, veel fijner dan bij de verhuurbedrijven waar je in de rij moet staan om een contract in te vullen. De service is ook goed. Iets daadkrachtiger mag wel al er een huurder is geweest die slecht met de auto is omgegaan.
Oplichters!!!!
Heb een auto gehuurd via hun. Mijn auto was onveilig. Viel uit. En had geen lichten. Kwam er pas in de avond achter. Vervolgens bel ik de anwb omdat de auto niet meer start. Hoor ik dat de apk verlopen is. Heb een taxi moeten bellen om naar huis te komen. Daar gaat 200 euro. Pas op !! Lijpe oplichters. Ze nemen als bedrijf geen verantwoordelijkheid
Smidigt
Jag är en nöjd kund men det finns alltid plats för en förbättring tycker jag. Det som jag fick lite extra jobb är att för man ska få pengarna på kontot för hyran (bilen)det måste man ladda upp en andra företag appen som är intermediära mellan SnappCar och Banker och detta tyvärr tycker jag att det är lite krångligt. Och det dröjer alldeles för mycket tid för man (bilägare)ska få pengarna på kontot. Annars det går bra som helst:)👍

Trotz gespeichertem Kennwort kann ich mich nicht einloggen. Wenn ich auf Passwort vergessen klicke wird keine E-Mail zum Zurücksetzen des Passworts verschickt.

Good to have cars in my neighborhood I can rent. Never had any issues, easy to get a car and drive off!
Disappointed
The first time I tried to rent a car with this application and I couldn't get in the car because it wouldn't open with the application, I talked to support and the owner, they tried to open it and the car didn't open, if it had been something really important what I had to do I would have lost it because of this... I'll think about trying to rent something again with this application... PS: they refund my money

Snapcar har skapat en struktur för att hyra bil av privatperson som tydliggör ansvarsförhållandena så att båda parter kan vara trygg med vad som gäller.
Bad
Super slow process - the people at the help center are useless - if you don’t have a Ideal Card it’s taking 10 working days to process a credit card. Don’t be in a hurry. The application is great but the people that handle it are super bad unfortunately. Bad experience so far.
Otydliga priser skapar förvirring
På söksidan visas det totala priset som pris/dygn x dagar, inklusive mängdrabatt och exklusive avgifter. Varför inte visa bara pris/dygn x dagar? Eller priset inklusive både mängdrabatt och avgifter? Mycket förvirrande! När man klickar sig fram till det egentliga priset är det aldrig som man har tänkt sig. Tog mig en stund att fatta vad priserna på söksidan faktiskt handlade om, det är inte alls självklart.

Nice app, long wait for deposit return
The app itself is easy to use, however, over 4 weeks wait to return my €250 deposit is absolutely ridiculous in an age where instant payments are a thing. If you didn’t pay the extra to reduce the deposit you could be waiting over 4 weeks for €750 to be returned! A sum of money I’m sure most people don’t want to wait more than a month for. Just a word of warning for future users.
Snappcar very good if you don’t drive daily
Excellent option for using a car short term. Generally kind and accommodating owners and plenty of options to choose from. Might even be better than owning a car if you don’t drive daily.
Doesn’t take US driver license
Even with international permit. And the app never tells you that. Only found via support. also never received verification sms to my US phone number

Misleading verification costs. Why not just be honest and charge users to download the app instead of surprising them with hidden charges?

Appen måste utvecklas
Fantastiskt med bildelning!! Men appen är inte smidig. Det är ett detektivarbete om man vill hitta en bil som är tillgänglig inom några timmar, trots sökfilter får man går klicka sig massvis av bilar som inte är tillgängliga och man vill ju få upp dem som ligger närmast en själv först vilket heller inte fungerar. Samt att kunna lägga tidsestimatet över ett dygn. Om algoritmerna fungerade långt bättre skulle jag rekommendera appen. Nu slutade med en vanlig uthyrare istället.
Fake discounts
The app is really nice but the discounts disappeared while starting the booking which was really annoying.

The app is cumbersome 1/2 web, 1/2 app, check-in process does not work properly, checkout impossible. Unable to do basic things like changing booking time. Overcharging unless you choose correct 24hrs and did not get 10discount after the 5 euro to check the bank account!!! The overall first experience was insanely bad!!

För 200 kr mer får man en ny bil hos Hertz med fria kilometer. Det lönar sig inte om man ska köra längre än de fria kilometerna.
