What people like
- Keeps your mind sharp and active
- Play against real people, not bots
- Fun challenge that helps learn new words
- You can actually win real cash
What they complain about
- Recent updates removed the fun competitive mode
- Withdrawal requests take weeks and get ignored
- Hard to find a player match quickly
- Ads play even if you decline them
Where did my points go?
I open it up and get this stupid thing that says I have to download a skills app to play now. My points are gone and it’s solitaire! Wth? Can I just get word race back? I love that game and now it’s all jacked up
Bad update
The game was great! Then an “update”. Now your limited in number of games or practice plays. It’s all about gaining points instead of just playing a simple game of “boggle”.
Great game
Truly challenging and exercises your brain. Looking at the words that you missed is very eye opening and makes each game better and better. When you learn about the patterns of words and language, you elevate your ability.
Pointless
Impossible to play in the Pro league as I spend days just waiting for games to actually find a player match. Absolutely pointless.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO LONGER SUPPORTED??
This is alottt of people’s favorite game. I literally wake up and play this game everyday of my life. What do you mean no longer supported? How do we bring this game back because this has to be a joke😢
new version sucks
this used to be a great game - you would be matched with other players with either a free “practice” mode, or a paid mode where the winner receives some money. i did the free version and really enjoyed it, but now there is no competitive mode, and it sucks:(
Play
Great game!
Fast Moving Word Game
Years ago, when I first discovered this game, I was slow to like it but that was before the updates AND then I loved it! It’s fast paced and you must posses a great command of the English language and if you do, you’ll become addicted! However, if you don’t, you’ll probably lost interest very quickly. I say that because in order to be competitive you must be one who thinks fast and spells well. Also, you must have a wide base of words onboard to beat your opponents. Simply speaking, there are a lot of excellent players here in Word Race so you must be smart and play like lightening!
Out-Boggles Boggles
This is better than Boggle… so why take it away? Please bring back the competition mode!
Love this game
This game keeps my mind calm with the lockdown in my state. Thanks
Challenging game
I don’t play this game obsessively but I always come back to it and play a few rounds every couple of days or so. Playing against real people and not bots is a big draw. I have not played for money yet as I am not much of a gambler but if I were to put money up on a game, it would be this one.
The worst customer support
I’ve been waiting for over 3 weeks for my withdrawal to be complete and every time I inquire about it I get the same form letter response which doesn’t answer my question. Horrible site, do not trust!
Lots of Fun!
I love this game. It’s addictive though & a lot of fun but so many people play that it’s hard to place in the rankings & I’ve heard some people cheat. I don’t see how it’s possible to cheat but I have heard it from a few different people so that’s why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 stars!
My favorite game to challenge my brain power
Play for free or win real money challenging "real people" opponents in head to head matches. As your skills improve, you will face like opponents with same approximate skill set. And no money is needed to play unless you wish to do so. I enjoy challenging myself to learn new words for the next head 2 head match from the list available in game history. You will be surprised by how many you know and didn't see and also by the words you don't know.
Fun
Hard, but fun to play Same review as other times asked to review
Real money finally the truth
I like this game it is entertaining fun and when u win can can withdrawal that money. No strings just a 3-7 wait
Keeps my mind racing!
Love it as it keeps me on my toes and odd as it may seems, relaxes me n keep my competitive edge racing without moving!
Unethical
Their latest update was just to add way more advertising, not a single performance improvement. Moreover, at the end of each game it asks if you want to earn a point by watching an add. If you decline it plays the add anyway. How did it manage to get past the Apple approval process for checks against lying and deceitful functionality?
Good Game
It’s challenging enough to get you really thinking.
Fun game
Fun free game that I enjoy playing to keep my brain active. Highly recommend.
Word race
Absolutely addicting! Reminds me of playing boogle growing up, LOVE IT!
Fun and competitive
Really a lot of fun to play.
Fun but need to change the betting structure
I love all of the Skillz games . They are super fun and well designed. My only complaint is that we lose too much money because our bets are bigger than what we win. Kind of not that fair. It’s a bit greedy of the game developers tbh. But I’m happy there’s a free version using Zs instead of money
Leysa
Love skillz games !!!
Fun quick game
Easy to play, but challenging too
Challenging
Great word challenge game! Keeps the mind sharp.
Addictive word game
Play word games and win a little cash in the process? Count me in!
