This app is a joke. You can’t even read the forecast before ads start playing. Don’t waste your time.

So this app is not bad for a free app has its flaws but overall 4 stars for the app when it works and the notifications go off after the storm or thunderstorms hits lol
Hyperbolic
I hate these pop-ups I get on the iPad like, “unsettled weather coming” and then when I click and go to the recorded weather report it will be something like, “There will be a cloud in the sky.” I think they need to spend equal time explaining how a forecast of 8 to 16 inches suddenly becomes two inches one day, that immediately melts, and another two inches the next day.
Too many ads
The concept is good - I like the additional info that is given when weather things are happening. However the ads at the start of every video are annoying enough that I am probably going to stop using it. Understand that ads pay the bills, but we should not have to watch one at the start of every video.
Easy to maneuver & informative
Excellent weather app for the South Central region of NYS. CBS/WBNG12 is awesome & their weather app is too. Howard Manges is one of the best Meteorologists I’ve ever seen. Thank you for keeping this weather app up to date with the current & upcoming forecast day after day, night after night. Just plain awesome & helpful! Why need an app when you can compare the daily weather to the weather channel.

I like the weather report you give but the same advertisement from UHS at the beginning of every forecast is beyond annoying. We’re so bombarded with advertising everywhere we turn it’s driving me crazy. Can’t you make it so we can skip the ad since we’ve already heard it a hundred+ times? I’ve already chosen my healthcare provider for the year as I’m sure most others have so this ad is total waste of time.

Forecast inadequate. Have a watch for 3-5 inches of snow, the forecast says just snow

Stopped working on iPad
It once worked on the iPad, but now freezes at the UHS screen. Still works on the iPhone. But, obviously the app isn’t tested enough. Accuweather works great!
Frustrating
This app would deserve a very good rating if the videos played consistently. And sometimes when they do play, there is no audio. What good is an alert if you can’t play it or hear it? I give one star and that’s for the graphics

Hello, I live proximately 100 miles from Binghamton south, I always watch the Binghamton channel when I lived in Livingston Manor, New York. I am now in Liberty New York and unfortunately I don’t get to Binghamton Station. So I really enjoy watching the news and things like that on the app thank you were having it. Have a great day.!!☺️

If it says 80% chance of rain, it’s actually 20% and vice versa.
Inconsistent
Have to watch a 13 second or longer ad every time you open an alert. The ads play without a hitch, the warnings not so much.
To many alerts!!
Excellent local weather.. but alerts are just to much! An alert is helpful but not every 5 minutes for a rain or snow shower! Also when a severe storm warning issued.. you don’t need to alert every 5 minutes! It’s weather! Nice to know of weather threats but not over and over like it’s the apocalypse about to hit! Calm down on alerts and it’s a perfect app!

Will your performance improvements include an editor? I see fewer typos from my child. Good grief!!!

As nice as it is to get notifications about local weather, it’s not worth it if I’m going to get notified about every little weather thing every 5 seconds

Video Ads Galore
Every time you want to watch a weather related video, you have to watch a UHS video first. Every, single, time. So sick of this...and you’d think the local guys would have the most accurate forecast. Ha! Not so! Accuweather blows them away. I’d like to support the local folks, but this is just too annoying. Deleted.

This is the one app I tell everyone I know to get instead of the weather channel because of the closeness of the weather team. If you’re in the Southern Tier, get this app!!!!!!!!! It has everything. Plus, the weather team will teach you new thing miscellaneously which are so cool like Leaf colors, comets, storms, records ect.
Pathetic excuse for a news app
All this app does is issue a tease, then say watch the tv news to get the real story. The only app worse than this is there weather app. That gives temps, but no other info, except, watch our news casts to get the latest weather! Pathetic excuse for a professional news organization. For years WBNG has been the leader in local news, now they are wallowing in the bottom with the other two local news teams!

Tried to submit photos and an error message came back saying that my email didn't wasn't on a allowed senders list. Deleted the app!
