I started using zap couple months already and have cashed out TWICE! Nice way to earn some extra money thank you zap you rock!!
I used to love this app
I was loving this app, completing the surveys slowly building up a balance and recommending it to anyone that was looking for something to do now the things have changed because I have been robbed my balance was a little over $12. It has taken me a long time to even build it that high I am visually impaired. It takes me a long time to fill out each survey and lots of effort but now it acts like I’m a new customer. It has taken my balance and dropped it clear down to zero for whatever reason and now I have to start all over. This is heartbreaking. I used to love this app but now I’m heartbroken that I have to start all over like a new Customer, even though I have been filling out these surveys a little by lil building up my balance.

was kind of okay at first but not really now
it was okay when i started. i liked the categories like “short”. i liked the idea of picking my interests, but the interest based ones never worked for me. it just kept loading and never gave me any surveys. now i dont even see that category option anymore so idk—i dont feel like its as good as other survey apps
Not as much a fan
Since the new update the only surveys I see are long (20+min) and lower payouts. Liked the old format better with more short surveys.

Love ZAP SURVEYS!! They’ve been good to me. Nothing is perfect, but I believe in never giving up and keep doing at least 3 surveys a day, even the tiny ones and you’ll be surprised at how fast you build up your account. I’ve actually paid part of my condo assessments with ZAP earnings and my cellphone bill. It’s actually fun and educational. I’ve learned a lot from taking these many diverse surveys. I’m a Senior, so they are great for constantly using your mind and continuing to grow and expand your mind. Give it a try. You literally have nothing to lose.

Had $260 in balance after update disappeared this app became terrible

UPDATE. Ever since the latest update. I have lost my earned money. Loggednin with the same email and still not there. Hoping support can figure this out. Good deals and it pays out. Some of the surveys seem rigged and kick you out after completing most of the questions. Otherwise a nice way to make some extra cash.

Under the guise of an update they’ve removed all bonus features, even the check ins, with the vague promise of something better. Would change rating if they deliver but are so opaque Zap deserves a zero. I’m a long time user too and have gotten no responses to feedback in app

Don't like the new updated version. No option to make sure you can pick, fashion, food and so forth. Also the amount you can cash at a time is less , used to have options for $20 or even $50 Also no short surveys avail even though it gives the option. Same ones nothing different :(

But…. Sometimes the reward isn’t given, due to the survey “locking up” or “blanking”, with no response but to forfeit rewards. When you get close to a “nice reward”, seemingly “you aren’t their target” or there are “no more surveys available”.

I try to take surveys often. Often shut out of higher pay ones. Location surveys used to work great. Not so much now. But I’ll keep Zapping!!

Would not allow PayPal cash out this time. It was previously done but now a change. I chose Starbucks and it’s still pending. I wonder why the change. As of 9/2/2026 required updates, I keep completing surveys but am not receiving any payments for survey. They have made changes. Daily rewards of 1 to 3 cents continue. I will try a few more times to make a decision to continue or not.

The update wiped my balance
I need my Zap Surveys account escalated to the correct internal team. I have been a user for years and had a balance of $41.17. The update stated that my balance would not be wiped out, but after updating, my balance was reset and the app now treats me as a brand‑new user. Everything is locked. I cannot take surveys, I cannot cash out, and I cannot access any features. A supervisor supposedly reviewed my account and added a $42 credit, but it has been a week and nothing has changed. I still cannot take surveys, I still cannot cash out, and my account remains unusable. My balance shows, but the app will not let me do anything with it. My account is essentially a shell. I am not requesting a currency report. I am requesting an actual manual review and correction of my account. Please escalate this to a real representative who can restore my account functionality. The automated responses I keep receiving do not address the issue.
Sucks
After putting time in multiple surveys, you get a message saying “you don’t qualify” and get paid $0.01 or $0.02. Sometimes I would have put in 5mins into a survey. How insulting.

The recent update did away with so many things. Location payments, ability to cash out any amount over $10. Now it appears to only be available in increments of 10 which leaves money on the table for them. It took me a YEAR to accumulate $12. Ridiculous!!!

I tried numerous times to link my PayPal account. It says account in eligible, but I use my PayPal for every other site. I emailed them and have written them numerous times. No one has responded to me.
