No ad filter
The app could’ve been good, but I had no clue because the ad showing at the bottom was definitely 18+ related and was trying to use for a child. I understand having to use ads and free app but graphic images we’re very inappropriate

So I just sang my cousin happy birthday and due to certain circumstances I was not able to obtain at least a cupcake, and so I used this app. BUT as soon as he blew his candles we got an ad. Like what!? Canceled. Was cute tho. Bye. 🩷

Full screen add that is completely annoying defeats the purpose of the app. Covers the whole cake and candles when you’re “lighting” them.

I love the app it was cute!! But I didn’t know the person that does not have an iPhone cannot get the full affect of the birthday cake and candles blowout. That is the down side of the app.
I like it very much, but…
The problem is that there’s too many ads and the person that receives it has to click 0n all these X’s and that doesn’t make a very good birthday card. Ads are very annoying! So I can’t use it then.

The sound recording system is very poor and ridiculous.
It works great until...
...I send it. In the set up, confetti falls, balloons go up, and you can pop the balloons with your thumbs! Then I mail it and the other person gets a cake and a song, but no confetti and no balloons.
Don’t waste your time
I just tried to send my daughter a Birthday message but I decided to check it out before I sent it. It turns out that she would have to install the app in order to see it. The selection of options is very limited too. This may be helpful to some people but it’s not for me. Oh and the advertising!

Great for flame-banned places!
My parents are in a nursing home where fire hazards (including candles) are forbidden. This was the perfect solution! Only problem is it only goes up to 70 candles and my dad just turned 80, so that took off a star. Make the number of candles higher and I can use it for future birthdays!

Cute but
This is a cute app...when it works right. We have used it several times, but each time we struggle with getting it to work right. It needs a reset or start over button. Also a button for instructions would be nice. Love the music and end product but wish it was easier to use.

Doesn’t work
No way to send it with voice recording. Doesn’t show up in iMessage. Was only able to send an image. Interrupted by ads every 10 seconds.
