La app es muy sencilla de usar y súper útil
Doesn’t open on iPhone
I can’t open the app. I used to be able to use it fine. Now it tries to open then closes before even getting to a login screen.

This application sends marketing notifications with no ability to turn them off - which is against app store policy.
IPad app needed
I use the app on my iPhone. It functions. Would like to see 1. Ability to copy and paste. For example, copy a numeric value and move it to a spread sheet, and the reverse. 2. Enable biometric log-on for phones with facial ID. 3. Clear statements when functions, such as adding a recipient, can only be done on a computer. (And, why can’t a new destination account be added with the “destination account registration” button on the home page). In response to another review about inability to generate CVV codes, this has worked OK for me, but I’m puzzled as to why this is necessary and means I have to remember this step.

El banco es bueno, pero como cliente es molesto que las sucursales verdes no puedan dar servicio si era cliente origen y la app era mejor antes, sigo con problemas para poder ingresar.

The update removes almost every function I actually used, like paying CFE and PASE, and added nothing!
Stable and Functional for Basic Banking
I use the app to manage a checking account, and find that it does what I need done: manage the account, pay bills online, etc. The security “token” process that once seemed overly cautious now looks reassuring.
No improvement from Intercam to Kapital
From Intercam to Kapital App, this is not an upgrade. We can do less transactions and transfers now compared to the old Intercam app. Please improve asap.

Aun existe el error de no poder hacer una receta de una tarjeta ya registrada del titular por lo app solo permite conocer el saldo
Updates not an improvement
I updated to the May 2026 version and now I can’t recharge my cell phone from the app and sometimes my card disappears or transfers don’t work

Getting worse
This app used to allow you to pay bills, including CFE directly in the app. It now only allows for basic transfers and investments into Kapitals accounts. Really disappointing.
App is not production ready
The app scores low on usability, aesthetics, and it is not what I would expect from a financial institution. Highly recommend that Intercam spend the money to bring the app and website up to 2020s standards. It will cost Intercam a good amount of money, but it will gain its customers’ respect.
Love Kapital and its app
I love this app, especially when compared to prior México bank apps, like COBanco amd HSBC.
App is worse by the day
La aplicación es una pesadilla … traigan la antigua versión funcionaba muy bien. La nueva app no la probaron y no sirve para las funciones básicas. Hablé a soporte tomaron mi información y documentaron problema y me dijeron que al otro día me llamarían con la solución y aún sigo esperando la llamada. Es un verdadero problem la calidad del trabajo de programación de la app deja mucho que desear …. Es mala
Old reviews are useless
It now works fine on an iPhone 13 and my wife’s Samsung phone. As someone mentioned the security is great for these times. Face ID login is working great. I mainly want to check my balance and transfer pesos to others and it does just that.
WORST APP EVER!
The app loses our biometrics and passwords every night. The bank staff’s answer for this is to come in EVERY DAY to reset it. Seriously awful. Time to close this account and move to BBVA.
Great Bank & App for Foreigners
Very simple app, easy to use, great bank and awesome customer service. Perfect for foreigners who need to have access to pesos in Mexico and don’t want to hold large amounts of cash. High interest investment offers make it a huge bonus to have some money down here for vacations, rent, expenses etc.
Not user friendly
Every time there’s an update I have to log back in, which is fine. But you need to generate a token on a separate device so it is very inconvenient. Most times I need to go to the actual bank which negates the purpose for mobile banking.
