A fun way to get into budgeting!
I am loving the trend of gamified life skills! It makes tracking my expenses less of a chore and something I actually look forward to doing! My only complaint is that every day that I don’t spend or receive money, it automatically builds a park and I’m trying to spend less so my city is totally overrun with parks! I’m still grateful for a gamified budget app, and gamified life skills apps in general, so many of us had upbringings that lacked real teaching of life skills, so free resources like these are great.

Love this app but the ads killed it
I'm an avid fan of this app, have been using it for 1y++, and have purchased in-game currencies for it. However, the recent update that forces you to watch an ad after every building merge destroys the user experience so much. I hope they can fix their monetization model, this is making me not want to use the app at all.

Cute but hard to navigate
I love these apps, and I use Plant Nanny all the time, but the user interface is not very self explanatory. It'd be nice to have a tutorial or easy to access details about the app, like how a board game has a rule book. Definitely recommend though.

Cool idea buuuut!
It’s a cool idea on having fun budgeting. But the main reason the average person budgets is to save money and not spend it on unnecessary things. The fact your company has diamonds for sale all the way up to 99$ dollars for a package is wild! The monthly subscription should be enough not trying to get more money from people who are trying to budget 🤦♂️

Hate the pop up ads that ruins my user experience
I watch the ads regularly for diamonds, but I hate that ads just bump up that ruins my experience. I use the app to track my spend and I do it for a reason, what the heck with all the pop up ads… I used to love this app, I would give it 5 stars. But now, this has stopped me from engaging more and I would consider switching to a different app.

Game mostly requires subscription
Used this app a long time ago. There didn’t use to be subscriptions. There weren’t stuff such as a maximum of 5 buildings per day, or inability to accommodate new citizens unless more buildings are built. I understand these “features” make the game more challenging, but the isn’t the main purpose of this app financial management? Why does it feel like we as users are being “forced” to make the in app purchases? It also does not help that only subscribers are able to edit budgets. Overall, it’s a good concept. Motivates users to keep records of their expenditures by gamifying it. But it should be kept simple instead of being so profit-centric.
Big fan of this app
I used it since 2019, it is great and keep updating. The gem is expensive but can be added through watching ads. I would like to pay for it if it has a [Lifetime VIP] that <$30 (even though I don't need the premium features)
Seriously considering uninstalling because of the ads
I have been using this app since 2018 to track my money and I really enjoyed it up until the recent update. Being forced to watch an ad at the beginning every time I open the app has made this app almost unusable. I would voluntarily watch the ads to earn diamonds and other rewards but now I want to switch to another app that will not shove ads down my throat. It’s a shame because I have been a loyal user for so long but this feels like the company is putting money over user experience and I just cannot put up with this anymore.

Budgeting
The app is cute and I’m enjoying it but I hate that I need to pay to be able to track my budget, which was the whole point of me downloading it. It’s just an app to record purchases and make it a game.
It’s working for me thus far.
I don’t typically like tracking things, but I’ve found this engaging and easy to use.
stop the pop-up ads!
The pop-up ads are killing this app. I’ve been using this app for about a decade now and had always loved it. I watch ads for bonus diamonds “religiously” — more than 15k diamonds from all these years of watching ads. But the recent update with the pop-up ads are SO ANNOYING! I can’t use the app for more than 3 seconds without being forced to watch an ad. I’m more than happy to watch ads for bonus diamonds but this is absurd. I don’t and won’t pay for another subscription just for an app. I’m imagining more people are going to leave the app because of this. It’s sad because like I said, I’ve been using it for so long and have built a really large city. Maybe it’s time to switch.

Good concept
It does motivate you to log your expenses, but maybe too much because it’s almost encouraging you to spend every day with the game mechanics. Maybe the developers could explore a no spend day bonus or something.
Addictive!
I’ve tried a lot of financial tracking apps and this is hands down the best for me. Having to manually add things in and having an incentive to add transactions is huge for keeping me engaged and aware of my spending.
Disappointing
I’ve been using this app since 2017 and have spent a significant amount of money on diamonds over time. It was reliable and worth the investment—until now. Forcing long-time users to watch ads and switching to a subscription model feels unfair and disappointing. After supporting this app financially for years, this change makes me feel misled. Sadly, I can’t recommend it anymore. One star.

New update sucks
Why do you guys have to add the forced ads after every merge of building. It's just too much, please remove it soon. I have been using this app for years and i absolutely hate this. Probably gonna stop using this app soon if they don't remove it.
