The new purchase buttons do work now and I enjoy the major update. I would also like a drop a suggestion which would be a cool synthwave themed world you could unlock and a new futuristic bike that could be called “The out runner”

Opinion on game - UPDATED
So, it's been a month or so since I posted my hate comment.. sorry about that. I really enjoy the upgrades and rivals now, I just wish there was a casual version to be like legacy with less chaos. From the OUTRUNNER event, I wish the ferrari was a permanently playable vehicle. It was very fun to drive, and I do enjoy having not just motorcycles. In the future, you could might even add boats, who knows? I like the direction the game is going, and I'm glad to see the game still being developed.
iOS 26 Performance Issue
The game is cool and all, but when I switched to the new iOS version on my iPhone 13, the game became very slow. Most of the races are in slow motion, it’s simply impossible to play now.

This game could have been great but level design past the first level is atrocious. Feels like the dev never took the time to play beyond the first level oh and half the achievements don't even work.

It’s pretty good
So great great game, but a couple things, maybe add some seasons or somthin’ to spice it up a bit, next, maybe make the levels a little less hard to get, and third, the mysterious achievements, like Improvised Ramp. Like I know there is a achievement to run over your record but it would be nice if you could not have to wait to get an achievement that you have no idea how to get. Impossible to complete last achievement
Ive been playing for a long time and gotten over 100k coins and unlocked everything I can except for the “Too close to the sun” achievement. I looked online and they said you get it by crashing on the ceiling of a tunnel but it still hasn't unlocked for me. Is it possible theres a bug in the code preventing me from getting the achievement on iOS?
Fun…but,
Too many adds ruin the game experience. I don’t play as many mobile games these days, and I know this is typical for this kind of game, but the ads are extremely annoying and are a big turnoff….for all mobile games.

Great game, but
i was incredibly disappointed when i got a forced ad i understand why you have them but when i see a game made by a small title with evident care it’s so disappointing to see forced ads.
Advertising change
Before, you wouldn’t get blasted with advertising after each death. It was an option to watch an ad to have a second life or whatever. Now you get advertising that you have to sit and wait to continue. It’s an okay game. Here to play, not to watch commercials. Uninstalled.
With more polish this could be amazing
It’s addicting, and it almost nails the old school Sega racer feel in graphics and gameplay, mixed with the challenges and unlocks of mobile games today. It just feels rough graphically, as opposed to the pixelated charm of Outrun etc... it also feels stretched on iPhone X, there should be a windowed option.
Inspired
This game is beautiful and challenging. It needs more soundtracks because I think there’s like two but those two tracks are great. From the quality of those two tracks, I honestly thought there would be at least one per level. I’m hoping the developers expand the game because it’s truthfully amazing, especially for a free to play game. However, be prepared to buy the ad-free version because it makes it a much more seamless experience given how often you die. My compliments to the art direction, seriously. Beauty meets good gameplay. A rarity. I do wish the downtown section were more populated with buildings and a bit windy-er. I dream of a version with sharp corners and neon.

Level design
The gameplay is fantastic. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is only 1 fun level: the original. The only reason to switch to the others is when a mission calls for it. Otherwise there’s too many hazards or turns to have any fun. Candy land is a motion sickness-prone nightmare. There’s a pickup that makes the screen blurry that’s as no fun as a level that mostly consists of two lanes and one way traffic, during a steep turn. All inconsistent with the game’s best ideas: going way too fast while burning nitro and weaving between both lanes of traffic, catching all the jumps and boosts you can. I was excited to unlock the moon, but there’s too many tunnels and overhead hazards to risk a jump, which defeats the point of a low gravity level. Why not double down on the idea and have nothing to wreck you on a jump and make them even higher? I like difficulty, but not at the cost of fun. They don’t give nearly enough coins for how short the runs usually are.

Glitchy
So I like this game, and I don’t like that many. It’s easy to pick up and play for ten mins and put down. I have a problem with my iPhone 7 where the left turn button doesn’t work every now and again. Thinking it was my phone or something I was doing, I flipped my phone round and I still get the same issue. It also happens on another iPhone 7 in the house. Not sure what it is but the game only has two inputs, left and right. When one doesn’t work it kind of defeats the purpose.
This is amazing
This team is great every day when I get done with a stressful school day I hop on this game and it just makes my day it’s amazing. I would highly recommend it and no, I’m not no robot.

Update has made it twice the speed!
I love this game, nice mindless fun. I updated it on May 16th 2023 and it’s now just too fast to play! I can’t last more than a minute at the speed it’s going. Please, have a look at game making people.

Adverts ruin it
Great app, but some adverts just ruin it by freezing the game, you have to exit and re open the app then it goes all strange then you have to reopen it again then it finally works! Please fix

Just add more bikes, maps, and abilities and it would be perfect.
Retro Invasive Personal Tracking
They should change the name of the game to Retro Privacy Violations. A highway motorcycle retro game shouldn’t have that many personal data tracking points in the Apple disclosure box. Unless of course it’s a tracking tool rather than a game.

Lots of fun, good gameplay and challenges. There are ads but I don’t find them that intrusive. You get a lot of gameplay for free.

Data collection
This game requires you to consent to data collection in order to personalise ads. This is terrible for a couple of reasons, first there is no reason why they couldn’t serve non personalised ads if you disagree, they would still make money. But even worse is this game is being heavily promoted by apple with such a terrible data policy Very disappointing, data collection without an opt out should not be allowed on the App Store or anywhere else.

Very good but I can’t get any audio?? Checked settings and my phone volume is up?

Appreciate that GDPR means that secs now have to be upfront about data usage, but forcing users to comply in order to play is a deal breaker. Shame, an old school racer in the vein of “Hang On!” Was a welcome prospect.

It’s a good game and everything but the ads completely ruin it as there is too many of them and they don’t let you click off them straight away and it just gets so frustrating. Great game though

The game is a very cool retro racer with retro graphics and the basic controls you’d expect. Wish there was better doc to understand some of the bonuses - like “flyover” - there are just picture but no word. I found the ads very annoying and eventually, though I liked the game, I deleted it.

Buggy as hell
Constantly crashing on the ads and when you swap back to the app from another. The ads also stop my music playback which no other app does. I am loving it but the bugs are killing the experience.

(Keep in mind on the go means the hour long ride on the road.I’m not a slacker at work)I’m a landscaper and I’m also 12 so I play games on the go, but the thing is that I can play without WiFi and its a great game too so I’d say it’s worth grinding.
Paid £1.99 to remove ads now game crashes
Would have been a 5 star game had the game not kept crashing after I’d paid to remove the ads. The only way to reset this is to power your phone off each time it occurs which means this game isn’t going to get played anymore....🙄
Easily my Fave
I don’t know why this game has quickly grown to be probably one of my favourite games ever on iOS but it has. The controls, genuine looking retro graphics and diverse soundtrack has kept me going non stop. I will admit some minor things though, I do wish on the challenges that there was a count down to what I have yet to collect (eg: do 7 roof landings in single race. 5 to go) and also some Tony layout issues on the pause menu with regard Resume and Main Menu kinda needing to be swapped for more instinctual game play. But bar that I couldn’t recommended this game enough!

The game is ok, if you are happy to sit through adverts every time you crash and die. You will crash a lot.
