They blocked camera focus
The new update blocked the ability to focus the camera when depositing a check. Super frustrating.
Why does your app not recognize the BACK OF A CHECK?
I have to cover the routing and account information on the back with MY THUMB in order to deposit a check, otherwise it tells me it has to images of the front of the check….when you tell them that in the app, CRICKETS!!! Thank goodness this dumpster fire of an app has a “fresh new look”….most business users don’t care how it looks anywhere near as much as how well it works. Make it work properly FIRST…then make it pretty
Apple watch only works if app open on phone.
Love the app but the Apple watch companion app gets stuck on validating pin, rendering OTPs useless. The only "fix" is to have the cashpro app opened on your mobile then logging in. It defeats the purpose of doing it on your wrist.
Finally an app for us non-tech folk!
Very user friendly, easily accessible, and great for someone who isn’t super tech-savvy!
Outperformed
CashPro is out performed by Wells Fargo. We have been B of A customers since 1990. And only a few banks can do what B of A can do. But that’s not true of CashPro, which acts 100% to protect the bank and not the customer.
Great when it works
Wonderful time saving app… when it works… sometimes the camera won’t focus, I have a iPhone 11, sometimes it’s great but 1 out a five I have to still go to the bank for a simple deposit because the camera refuses to focus, you can feel the lens chattering as it tries to focus, you can even see it momentarily does focus then goes back to a fuzzy picture and I really don’t have the time an can’t be bothered to keep trying.
Hurts again
The app never remembers the correct credentials. The add an additional check to deposit is a tiny little plus sign that could be improved upon. Takes me three questions to log-in.... every single time.

Notifications still not fixed?!
It’s been four months since last update and you still haven’t fixed the enable notifications pop up? That’s one of the leading complaints.
Money Order issue
Use this for business deposits. Please fix issue on iPhones that won’t recognize money order. Android doesn’t have this problem

Terrible New Update
I hope the developers are reading these reviews. There needs to be an option that STICKS to disable push notifications for the mobile token. No, I do NOT want a push notification. I do not want to have to cancel the warning to enable notifications every time I need a token code. I do not have notifications set up for 99% of the apps on my phone ON PURPOSE.
Crashes
It just keeps sending me back to the login screen whenever I login with my pin. Won’t work even if I redownlod the app. Defeats the whole purpose of using mobile.

Frustrating update
An update was pushed out on May 19, 2025, with a very annoying “Enable Notifications” message that won’t go away. Even after clicking on “cancel,” the message continues to appear over and over again. I don’t enable notifications for any of my apps, but apparently I’m forced to turn them on for this one. Make it stop!!!!!
Too many unnecessary updates to the app
Pretty much every time I approve payments I have to do a mandatory update that takes several minutes and completely distracts from the current task. Way too many updates - I can’t rely on the cell phone app to get authorization code. Very inconvenient and disappointing.

Beyond excited to have a Mobile Token! Such a convenience to replace the outdated physical one and no longer need to remember to carry around when working remote! …and to have it on my Apple Watch! Highly recommend this app!
App gives me problems daily
This app thinks my phone is jailbroken every day. I delete and reinstall the app everyday just to get into the bank portal to perform my job. This has been an issue for over a month. The supports solution was delete and reinstall the app. Do better BofA. You have the resources quit waiting for people to complain. Be ahead of the game.

Inexcusable
A bank of this size should be able to develop an app that works on all platforms with relative ease. The fact that I can not access my account tab and examine the balance and transactions, at all(!), is beyond unprofessional and really shows the incompetence of the institution and the lack of respect for their clients. Their customer service could not resolve my issue and I have to login from a browser to get the information I need. I would bank elsewhere if you have that option. Every individual I talked to was polite and professional, but as an institution, the overall experience has been less than adequate. Please fix this embarrassment of a banking application.
