Hello there. This game is great and I would rate 5 stars, but just overnight, my plan to isolate myself from other players to avoid risking too many unnecessary losses was completely foiled by the shear amount of players that just spawned around my outposts. This was completely frustrating and stopped me from giving the game a 5-star rating. Why does the server have to get way more players over the course of 1 FREAKING NIGHT?! This is the sole reason for the 4-star rating, and it’s soul-crushing in the worst way possible. What is the reason for this? No offense, but jesus, it’s so ungodly frustrating to be isolated on one day, and the completely surrounded on the next, by players.
Would be great…
If they had separate servers for NA and Chinese. Even if you’re in a NA clan, the timing for all the events makes it extremely difficult for most NA people. As it is, it’s a complete waste for NA unless you’re going to spend 10’s of thousands or don’t mind being a farm for Chinese.

All the reviews talking about needing money to stand a chance. Learn the game, it takes 2/3 months for a server to be eligible for cross server battles, no one on your own server will care about wiping you. During event pop shields, stock up on rss and by the time the cross servers come, will daily gameplay, you will be stronghold 25, which unlocks all major aspects of the game. It is truly the best game on the App Store, you just have to learn it

Developers don't care
The game has a built in system for reporting carrots inappropriate behaviors from players. Unfortunately, after reporting inappropriate remarks the Developers say , a certain amount of language is expected in a war game. However, a player has gone completely threatening through the game chats and when muted searched through social apps for messaging. The game developers claim they can't see The relationship of the players comments on an outside social app as it’s related to the behavior inside the king. It’s so evident in a monkey could see the and that’s just an excuse. They’re using to not have to be in someone who does spin money and puts money in their pockets. This player tried to coach another player to commit suicide, providing her with the information that she needed step-by-step. This was done inside the game chat the developers muted her for a few hours, and that’s it. Now she’s threatening through outside social apps, and it has been reported to those companies yet the developers of brutal Age horde invasion, refuses to acknowledge the relationship between the players behavior, and the threatening words used in the social application for messaging. The developers have chosen that they will support a player who spends money over another that doesn’t have as much monetary investment. Be careful and don’t let your children play this game or else they will be seeing a lot of adult content that should not even be allowed for an adult to see.

You will regret playing the game
You will regret it , few months later or few years laters. I wouldn’t wish this game to my enemies. The customer support is the worst and will not ever meet your expectations. I matter how loyal of a player you are. For the benefit of your health and wallet “ Don’t play this game “ Ps. I been playing this game for years and I really wish someone has told me this. The more time you put the harder it is for you to quit. So just don’t start playing it.
Strategy then becomes pay to win
It’s a great game with amazing logistics that depends on strategy and the way u start setting up yourself at the first couple stages but eventually it becomes pay to win game more than a strategic game in my opinion the developers should focus more on the players having fun playing the game in the next updates rather than adding updates with bad offers that are literally a waste of money the offers seem cheap at first but the rewards you receive are less than the needed so you’d have to pay more and more to become a powerful player

No Customer Support
There is no customer service in this game no matter what you try in their system you go in you make the report and two minutes later it tells you you haven’t responded for a long time and so they’re closing the window they never answer they don’t address your problems they just receive your message and then the system automatically tells you you haven’t responded so they’re closing the window. I have never in my life encountered a more ridiculous or useless system for customer service on this platform there is no other game that does this at the very least you get generic answers but not in Brutal Age oh no they just ignore you completely so you’re trying to report people cheating in the game and nothing because the system doesn’t recognize any report you say some thing two minutes later you get a reply that you haven’t responded in a long time even though only two minutes of past and the system never answered you. Then you come here and you write a review and the developers respond to you and tell you oh yes there is customer support in the game but there is no customer support and I wish the people who answer on the App Store would give us a way to contact them if they’re so certain of what they’re saying because I can provide screenshots to go with this review to prove everything I’m saying is true the developers lie on the App Store so if you’re down loading this game just be very aware there is no customer support available it’s a waste of your time and money

Greediest game going.
This game is massively money oriented I mean massively. The creators need to wise up or risk loosing almost all players. Especially when they merge servers all the hackers will take over. All the missions that would be worth anything to you require money. It should be obtainable to get anything on the game it should just require more game time. People without patience can spend others should be rewarded with the same prizes for actually playing. A lot of people would spend more if say they were close to getting the last prize and then spent a few quid to get it. Rather then 100 from the beginning. Most of the quests cost 300+ to complete them. The smaller package you can buy can be obtained from 20-30 mins of play so utterly pointless. It will never change. I’m just letting others know that can be bothered to read this because I’m bored haha. Put it this way. It’s almost impossible to advance far without having to spend. I’m almost at that point now so will end up deleting the game.

The customer service is a joke. I am getting automated messages. I spend no money on the. I wanted to upgrade my Flamen to level 2 they didn’t, and now I’m trying to contact customer support. But proper customer support is not existing. All I get is the automated response that doesn’t get me anywhere.I will never spend a penny on this terrible game.

Great game, money spenders have an advantage but you can still play effectively with dedication, time and expertise. Some social elements, but remember this is a war game , not for those that like tranquility!

The game is ok if you find a server without big spenders. However the developers don’t care at all unless you spend money so don’t expect any help when issues arise, you just get stupid messages telling you to have a frat day

This is just ruled by bulllies. The game is good but ruled by bullying Chinese players! Developers need to implement something to stop high power players wiping out players who are way below them. Yes it’s a war game but come on!!! Players who are stronghold 20–25 wipe out anyone smaller and you just cannot progress because of bullying tactics. Attacking 40+ times in a row, attacking you whilst hunting and gathering so you cannot even get the resources to get stronger. Something needs to be done about it. You shouldn’t be able to attack unless you are the same level or +1 or -1. New players cannot progress in this game. Every server has been or is getting ruined by Chinese bullies, I have accounts on about 7//8 servers just ask the players!! But since this is developed in Hong Kong I don’t suppose anything will change. I wouldn’t bother playing if you expect to progress!
It’s a pay to win game
As a game it has potential to be really fun but there are to many people who spend tons of money and constantly attack all lower levels to the point where there is no point playing anymore. It’s a pay to win game and if you don’t have much money then I wouldn’t even try sorry 🙁😞
Ability to grow and expand your territory
Never agreed with the reviews complaining that the big players bullied newbies. Making it impossible to progress. Always managed fine without spending a dot. However since the new server mergers I have experienced this first hand. Bases destroyed before I even have time to log back in. As I have a job I cannot monitor this game 24/7. Maybe bring in an immunity period after an attack. Just to level the playing field. Fully expect to be brutally attacked and have no problem with it. But will be quitting soon if I have to keep rebuilding every evening I log on. PLEASE SORT THIS OUT
Anti-lgbtq+ and hate speech
The developers allow the spread of hate speech, such as spreading ideas that the lgbtq community should be “wiped out” and that that slavery and sex trafficking should be allowed in all countries. They do this in order to cater towards those from nations where it is allowed, however disgusting the words being written by players may be. Through multiple attempts at trying to resolve the issue with customer service, I was met with nothing but rudeness and inadequacy. The game itself is fun, but what the developers allow on the platform is absolutely disgusting. 5 star review only so this is seen by everyone
Racist company
This game is rigged stay away you will never get what you need no matter how much you spend unless you live in china your screwed. They also allow Chinese players to buy packs way cheaper and their fore can grow faster. The matches are predetermined they call it random but its designed to force you to lose so you will spend more. If apple and google had a soul they would ban this game and refund everyone who spent

I only spent 3$ and im doing more than fine. All strategy games need skill whether you pay or not but if you cant afford 3$ (1.50$) for each newbie starting pack then dont cry bcuz the creators at the end of the day arnt doing this for free, its a business, monies for pleasure

First of All I need to confirm many other comments about cyberbullying and about being a pay to win game, spenders are spending thousands of dollars here and developers are extremely greedy, I can't deny none of these things above However I had a good support experience from this game and they was always fast to response and polite in conversations But God it's really addictive and fun to play game, You need to spend much time here and there is always a quest to do and there are many many details and tips in this game that can help you to grow much faster that is a good point for a strategic game There is another thing I like about this game: You Can easily reach thousands of gems with doing daily events and quest despite of other games that they are very stingy about giving gems to users

Being playing this for the best part of a month now. So far I haven’t had to make any in app purchases and nor will I. The game has some serious glitches. I have lost countless battles, turtles...including a rare and that this is killing the enjoyment of the game for me!! I contacted customer support to be told to get rid of any unwanted apps off my device....well it’s pretty new with very little on it so space isn’t an issue. Bug fixing required!!!
