Awful Update
I've played this game and other variants of Flow Free for YEARS (I have a daily streak over 1500) and this new update is awful simply for trying to get players to spend money on hints by moving the buttons around. It is not discreet, the hint button is where the reset button was, and the reset is where the skip button was, discouraging players from taking their time and coming back to puzzles when they're ready and encouraging the instant gratification of paying to solve the puzzle right away. I liked this game because of its slow pace and non-pushy interface. The new changes, though slight, have a major negative effect on the mood of the game.
Too many ads
Love these games but recently there seems to be so many more ads creeping in. Not only the fact there are more, they are also longer. Getting bored of seeing “Popsa” for over a minute 😩

The game itself is great, I love it and it’s really nostalgic for me. But there are way too many ads. If you take a long time to solve puzzles, you might get an ad after every single one, and sometimes the ads don’t provide an option to close them out so you have to restart the game to get rid of them. I understand putting in the option to watch an ad for a hint, but having them right in the game is really annoying.

Who ruined it?
The Flow Free games were pleasant. Now, all of a sudden, the games won’t turn to landscape mode. This means that the screen is a whole lot smaller on an iPad. Not good.

Pop up safari ads killed the fun
An enjoyable game, easy to play. However, pop up scam ads on safari supposedly from Amazon started within a minute of opening the game, with no option to resume the game or close safari. This happened each time I opened the game. I’ve deleted this app, and any other apps I get that allow this very annoying scam. Realize you need ad dollars to keep the game free and for a profit, but ads of this ilk will and should drive your users away.

Best game I’ve ever played. That’s saying something because I’ve played tons of mobile games, and somehow an addictive brain game became my number one. The ads honestly don’t bother me. They’re shown every 3-5 levels so it’s not too annoying. I’ve completed over a thousand levels and I plan on completing this entire game with all levels completed perfectly. Once I’m done with this game, I’ll play all the other versions of flow free as well. Once again; Best. Game. Ever.

I’ve been playing this game this game everyday without a break since the day it was released. Today my consecutive day streak is 0. So angry!!!

i love flow free. i bought the no ad version on the main game, but i guess i'll have to buy it again on hexes? kinda disappointing, i'd rather just play the hexes sampler over and over again.

Love the game but bring back old design
I really like all the flow free games and have all 4 versions and have paid to get all the packs and remove ads but I really wish the developers would bring back the old design of the game. For whatever reason the original flow free is the only one that still has original design where the bottom has the go back to previous level then reset board button and go to next level with the hint button on the right. However now this and the other 2 games have it where there is no go back to previous level or go to next level buttons and the hint button is now in the middle where the refresh used to be and the refresh is on the far right. Will continue to play but hope they change it back to the original design because I have ended up using hints when I didn’t need them because I was trying to refresh the board.

I’ve been playing for over 3100 days, enjoying a rare game that does not have ads. Now, with the latest update, it has ads. The ads are so incredibly annoying and disruptive. Unfortunately, I will be deleting the app.
NEED MORE LEVELS
i’ve been playing this game for YEARS. like since maybe middle school. i’m 22 now. i’ve aced every level with perfect moves and i play the daily and weekly puzzles as much as i can. please be more active with uploading more levels!!! it’s my favorite way to relax and unwind after using my noggin all day at work.
It’s a no go!
So many ads, which I can put up with, but after a short time it freezes and eventually won’t allow anymore play. Needs fixing if a genuine problem. If trying to coax people to pay nearly £5 to remove ads then it’s a no from me!

Love the game. All the versions. But there is nothing new coming through apart from daily or weekly challenges. Is it too much to ask for some new challenges akin to those in the past. If they are not going to appear please let your users know. Thank you.

Game does not save Streaks
Very upset to find out that this app will not save your streaks even when attached to your GameCenter profile. I had to get a new phone and lost my streak of almost 3 years! My progress was saved in all my other games except this one.

Fairly easy but needs some skill to move up.
Love the game, hate the animation.
Please make an option to turn off animation, including the dots pulsing when you touch the other one of the same colour.

I find that it will freeze on an ad and not allow any more play. I have tried to uninstall reinstall a number of times but always have this problem.

Great game but too many ads
The gameplay is fun, similar to the other games by the developer. However, recent updates either to the game or to the underlying advert engine cause ads to be shown on almost every second level. Some adverts I find to be extremely inappropriate, either through the content or through the sheer duration of the ad itself.

game center nagging
I have been playing these for over 3 years, both Hexes and Warps. I solved all the free play puzzles, all the dailys and weeklys, some multiple times, probably well over hundred thousand puzzles in each. They were my fav games. Alas, all good things rot eventually. For some time now all the games from this developer (paid) keep nagging me to use "game center". I get pop-ups every day, every time I open each app. Some of those pop-ups cannot be dismissed at all unless I sign in. I will not sign in, so I have to kill the app, and try again. There is no way to permanently disable this garbage. So sadly I have no choice but to uninstall all this crap. It was great while it lasted. Bye.
Needs more levels
Very good game. Enjoy it a lot. Only problem is that levels aren’t added often enough.
The puzzles aren't the challenge
It's the stupid user interface! It is ridiculously easy to destroy a previously laid flow, either by accidentally touching it, or moving into it when drawing a new flow - especially with the boards with smaller cells. I completed all the puzzles perfectly in about 20 hours - but I swear about a quarter of that was re-re-re-redoing a level because the user interface decided to send the flow in a different direction at the last second. The designers need to add an option: call it "Perfect mode". When enabled, it is impossible to modify a laid-down flow without starting again. No edits; no pushing existing flows aside.
Scary pop up
My 5 year old daughter was playing this game and a pop up of a woman looking in a cot at a baby came up and then a scary face appeared. Not very happy that this has happened as the game states from 4+ so pop ups should could be monitored.
Fav flow app
Hexes is the best out of all the flow apps for sure. I finished all the levels after a while but I need more. Pls make more this is the best flow app I have them all and this is the best pls more
Ads are getting out of control
Honestly I love the entire catalog of Flow games. I even bought the ad free version of Flow Free and 100% completed it. The problem is Flow Free: Hexes. I would have given the game 5 stars, but recently the ads on this game have gotten out of control. I won’t even click on anything and all of a sudden the game will open an ad on my browser that is obviously a phishing site and/or malware. I get that ads generate revenue, but at least know what ads you’re running on your platform and whether or not they can be harmful to the user/their device.
S'alright
I mean, you could have been a little more creative. It's great that these are new levels but it's not a game changing game physic. Hexagons for squares. Big deal. So what. Still fun but perhaps I was hoping for More. Basically, only get if you simply want different levels that basically work the same way.
