What can I say.. If your a Godfather fan the Lore is Great but this developer has Made the fame so complex that the basic stuff is horribly done. For instance there are 20 citys with 200 players so there are tons of dead citys. To transport in your city is 3500 gold coins to shield its 800 The only way to get gold is buying it.. none ever given out. They have tons of city vs city events but you cant go there because it resets your player. Then the active people you try to attack on your map is too far away. Yet if you have a powerful enemy close by you cant transport away.. So Many Flaws in such a great game. COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER.

Game is fun…. BUT…. If you get Star in the customer service chat consider yourself as good as screwed. Might as well kiss your money goodbye. They are terrible. Won’t listen. Doesn’t help. Worst support I’ve ever experienced. Had to start new account and will make sure to never deal with them again.

No new levels
Games started out great. However level 40 appears to be the end of the game. I have waited patiently for new levels for a few months now and nothing has happened. If they get more levels to the game I will come back. Till then they get a 2.

This game has been around a many number of years. I remember running a goodfellas crew back in the day. May come back and get into the game some. I’ll spend some money if you make one of a kind offers for me that I like. Though I’m not sure if I really see a point in playing this for other than a status in a game. The game is fun and addictive. Creates a community escape on line. One person going rogue in a server can cause issues. The developers really only care about how to make more money and just keep releasing more upgrades that need to be purchased. It’s difficult to keep up without spending a lot. Multiple struggles with getting the developers to respond or care about most of the players. Only big spenders matter.

No matter how much you spend…
I played this game for 3 years+ and spent countless hours and thousands of dollars along the way. This game is meant to keep the super big spenders happy by giving them new things to spend money on. The result in terms of game play is that the mid tier players fall further behind the top tier. Eventually most get bored and quit and most servers end up with a handful of players out of the thousands there originally. There are people who play this game simply for the social aspect of it as well, which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for. If you have a lot of money and time to piss away then this game is definitely for you.

What is happening?
A previous Reviewer says that the tutorial is a bit long but I think it’s non-existent. Maybe I missed something but I don’t feel as if I have been ‘tutored’ at all - a little hand pops up and points at something and doesn’t go away until you’ve pressed it but there’s no explanation as to why you are pressing it, what would happen if you didn’t press it or what your options could be. The little hand then moves on to something else and so it goes on. At one point I was told that ‘training thugs’ takes a long time but you can speed this up by paying and I wasn’t allowed to go any further until I’d paid - which I would never do in a game, but I wasn’t given that option. You are not told what the object of the game is or if you need to progress to certain levels. A flash came up saying that another family was inviting me to join them but there was no explanation as to what that was, what I could do about it or, indeed, anything as it was ignored completely. So now, having reached the end of the so-called ‘tutorial’ although, to be fair, I was never told it was a ‘tutorial’, I am now no wiser but am expected to ‘play’ the game...............what game?? The writing is very small when you’re playing on a ‘phone but I have given it two stars because the graphics are good and the layout and I love Marlon Brando but that’s all. I can’t review the game because I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing. Such a shame - it promised so much...............a bit like the Corleone family itself!!

Over the top notifications
I’ve had this game for less than a day. I’ve been enjoying it a lot and it’s a ton of fun to play. However, I’m uninstalling due to the excessive notifications. You have to have notifications turned on so you know when things are done upgrading however, I woke up this morning to 15 notifications from this game. One notification every 30 minutes telling me, “You haven’t been to your mansion in a while, your soldiers need your guidance”. Every. 30. Minutes. If your game is good enough, you shouldn’t have to beg me to come back. Do better.

1) Every other week they add an event where you literally have to spend $50 or you basically don’t even participate 2) the worst part of the game is the lack of support. If anything happens to your account, it’s gone. If you accidentally spend $100 of gold, support just says too bad. 3) the servers are really inconsistent. I have seen multiple people have all their soldiers killed while lagging or lagging/disconnecting from the game. And of course, support does nothing about it.

I gave the game 5 stars because once I figure out how to successfully play the game, it will be fun. For now though, I am unsure how to play it, advance on it and progress as quickly as possible to not be deflated in the gun fights. The Godfather City Wars was very easy to play, understand and move up the ranks quickly and easily until the game froze up. This game though is not as easy to navigate. A true gamer though should have no problems with the game.
