Good
Very good
Not connecting
Verified against robot really bad
Went from free to paid and got worse
Does the job but frequently logs itself out meaning you have to relink from your phone. Not good
It keeps logging me out
Why does this app keep logging me out of WhatsApp despite me ticking ‘Stay logged in’? Such a shame this has to be paid for - WhatsApp is so much easier on an iPad.
Surprised
Didn’t think I could install what app on my iPad! So many people had told me you couldn’t!,,
Is this app still working?
Can’t get it to refresh
Review
Amazingly fantastic. Thank you.
disappointed
Was disappointed to see that Whatsapp calls seem to have been eliminated. This in my opinion is clearly a service reduction.
A shame it has moved to a subscription model
I’ve needed WhatsApp for an iPad and found the previous version ok for this, better than competitors. However, it always had glitches. Now I find the app has evolved to a subscription model, and sadly I’m removing it as I cannot be sure those glitches would be removed. The reviews here mention them, but those may refer to the previous free version. The main one was freezing, and messages would not refresh. Sad to see it go, though.
Best WhatsApp iPad app I’ve found
Always works really well without any issues!
They changed the app…
It used to be Whatpad, with a one time purchase. Now they change the name and is a subscription app👎🏽. If i could give it 0/5 rating i wouldve.
Lack of dark mode
There’s no dark mode on WhatsApp Chat on the iPad. Without it, I can’t turn the app dark, especially when night falls.
Ads Not Removed. App replaced during update.
Update: I have reverted to the web appp. During an update the perfectly adequate WhatsApp interface was replaced by a new version for dual devices, but now requiring a subscription. The cost is minimal, but I will stop using it on principle as the app was changed without my authorisation. On the original version I paid so I would not be asked to join Facebook every time I open this app, but the ads still appeared. Also annoying that when I am in the middle of compiling a message I get asked to review the app.
Keeps dropping the connection to my iphone
Useful, but slow to start and keeps dropping the link to my iPhone.
Bueno
Bueno
No use without your phone
What’s the point of having it on your iPad if you need your phone to load it
Love it for what it affords
Not always user friendly
Wasn’t great when free; now, not free
It was very slow and sometimes glitchy but I kept using it on my iPad because I rarely use it so I was too lazy to find something else. Now that it’s not free AND it’s a subscription service, I don’t see the point in paying so much. Thanks for those free years so giving it 2 stars instead of 1.
Only chat
No video chat on iPod
Nice
It’s is nice but it would be better if you added the feature to call
Unusable after update
as others have pointed out, the app doesnt work at all after the update and now charges a subscription fee for even basic access - when it used to be free
Fighissimo
É stra figo super comodo solo una cosa quando vado su una chat non mi fa uscire non ha tanta importanza ma sarebbe più comodo cmq si può cambiare chat 💬
App renamed and not a subscription
Had previously paid for ad free version of app on iPad. Now the app is renamed and it’s demanding a monthly subscription. I’ll not be paying it. WhatsApp for iOS (iPad) is under beta test and will launch soon, I will wait for that instead.
Problem
If you open PDF at that time is ok but when we have to close the PDF we have to re open every thing .e. Re open WhatsPad
I am Mithilesh
It is so helpful
Bait and switch scam
Don’t download! This used to be a very reliable WhatsApp messaging client for the iPad, but recently rebranded and is forcing you to subscribe if you want to use. No thanks.
ok
ist ok
Subscription only model with new update
No option to purchase outright so I've uninstalled it
Some glitches
App is good but the problem is there is some glitches like app crashes some times and many more so fix this overall the app is good and it’s features also
Nice app will enjoy.
Will enjoy.
Dual messenger not dual
Aside from the fact that this app changed completely after an upgrade towards subscription model, it is advertised as dual messenger but I can’t find a way to add a second WhatsApp chat to it. What about those users who had paid to remove ads on this app and now the app is unusable outside of subscription after the last upgrade? And why is apple ok with this action?

Linking iPad to phone
I was looking to link my iPad to my phone so I could make a FaceTime call off of the app on the iPad. The instructions are terrible and I cannot link my iPhone to my iPad for WhatsApp. It is linked to my iPad for FaceTime calls and other things.
Worst functioning app
There is no value for purchasing it in the store ,it’s better to log in in with safari
Untuk ipad whats app chat
Bagus bisa buat chat wa di ipad lancar
Don't Download
Read the other recent reviews from the Fall of 2024. This app is no longer the perfectly functioning free Whatsapp for iPad. Don't bother.
My Review
It is a great app which helps me a lot to keep change anywhere I go . But is lags at the start

Good ghjkkkoooo

Bye
Was using for years and now they took away the free version. They should give an option, if you want the free version or the premium.
It’s the best whatsapp reader I’ve seen
It doesn’t take too long to load, no ads, very aesthetic colour scheme and design and PDFs actually open. Only problem I have is there’s a little grey bar on the bottom of the screen which is a bit irritating, and there’s no back button for when the PDF opens, so you gotta restart the app, which thankfully doesn’t take a lot of time, but still a minor inconvenience. Please fix both of them, other than that, amazing!
Having trouble

Now Behind Paywall
I’ve used the WhatPad app for years. Today it’s gone and replaced with Dual Messenger+ that now requires a paid subscription. I seem to recall I purchased the app years ago and now have to pay to keep using it. I have no issues with subscriptions, but when an app flips from something I paid for to now requiring monthly subscriptions, I’m out. It would have been better to remove from the App Store and add a banner that it’s been discontinued and a new app has been released in it’s place. If I have to pay, I’ll look at all the other apps I need to pay a subscription for and consider those, too.
