What people like
- Free version works well for basics
- Customer support replies very quickly
- Clean interface with no annoying ads
- Lifetime subscription is a good deal
What they complain about
- Charges you after cancelling free trial
- Support ignores emails and refund requests
- Connection drops randomly without warning
- Streaming services like Netflix do not work
Good product
Works. Clean, efficient. Love it!
Like app
All good
Could use more servers
Limited options outside of Europe
AppleTV support?
AppleTV now supports VPN, but this app doesn’t.
Happy customer
Took a lifetime subscription. Don’t have any complaints. Meets my requirements.
Tried to charge £59.99 for cancelled free trial
I was trying the free trail to see if I liked this VPN, I cancelled on the 16th feb 2024 well within the time frame of the free trial. On my subscription page, this subscription was marked as expired, yet today, they attempted to take £59.99 out of my bank for a years subscription, apple have cancelled and made sure they can’t charge my account again. Extremely concerning to think they have tried to charge me for an expired trial, I wonder how many have had funds taken after cancelling the free trial. Extremely dodgy and unethical.
Basic VPN
First time using a VPN app. So far is good. Easy enough to connect and see when it is working.. Affordable monthly plan for my Europe trip.
Never a problem
Always smooth internet
Unnecessary data collection and no updates
This app hasn’t been updated in over a year and collects, and links data, from/to you. The good VPN apps have “data not collected” with a checkmark, apps like this have zero reason to collect it outside of something nefarious or dishonest.
Don’t bother
I have tried to contact tech support regarding Netflix. Netflix does not work with their vpn. TS said that they will soon have a fix. If soon means longer than it takes to have a child then I should see something next week. However, Connection time and speed is fine. If they could work with Netflix it would be 5 stars
Zzzzzzzz........
Slowed my connection to uselessness. I changed server locations, cleared my cache, FAQ had nothing about troubleshooting a slow connection. And App support - I could not even open that page. Had to delete the app. It is secure! I couldn’t connect to anything. Update: Goose VPN recently contacted me and asked me to contact their support. I no longer have the app. Since they did contact me, I change my rating to 3 stars - at least they are trying.
Awesome VPN
I used NordVPN but this looks way better and have cyber attack alarm, love it. Hope more servers will come in the future
Sh*tty software
This company and software is not stable. Use something else
Prima VPN
INCREDIBLE SERVICE
Fast friendly service. Get the lifetime membership and don’t let the foreign language bother you when you ask your first question it will automatically switch to English or whatever language you want. Superb quality and support.
An unstable internet is more stable than this VPN
Streaming servers never work in the last couple months. No response for support either. Once a great company starts to loosen up their quality service it looks like. I wouldn't come here to give rating if I could have heard from you guys once in the last couple months. It's becoming a joke...
Nice but needs more features
They have almost instantaneous support and so far I am happy with their service. But they are falling behind in terms of number of servers and other protocols like wireguard and openvpn udp. I like to see extra features developed.
Graag update!!!
Nice one
It’s free HA
No longer the best
This was great however, it no longer works with the most recent updates to iOS 13. I’ve contacted customer support and received instructions on using open vpn, which were complicated. I can no longer recommend goose vpn.
Gewoon goed
Echt super goed gemaakt goed idee gewoon goed
Goose VPN
Goose was goed, maar valt nu regelmatig weg en moet steeds weer in loggen.
Nearly perfect!
Updated 3 April 2020: My original negative review was for my old iPhone which eventually died a slow death. On my new iPhone 11 Pro Max 512GB (yes, I'm bragging), it's nearly flawless. Great job from one software engineer to the Goose VPN team!! 👏🏻 Original review with my buggy iPhone 7+: I had trouble disabling it when I needed to, it kept turning itself back on with iOS. Also, it only gave me the option of USA for a VPN server and connected me to New York. I live near Los Angeles but was never offered a server that was geographically closer. I want to like GOOSE VPN, but it just doesn't work well for me on iOS.
Can not connect
I use this for vacations. Last couple of times I pay for my subscription, then when I try to log in get a message I have to current subscription. Click on button for info, it says I have a subscription...send a message. It takes goose techs days to fix this issue, by which time my vacation is half over. This is over the course of a year, so it’s a known problem they aren,t fixing. Easier to just use a different VPN provider.
Prima vpn server
Goed werkende vpn server. Geen klachten, niet duur en betrouwbaar.
Deutscher Server kommentarlos entfernt, Login Probleme
Schade.
Excellent
Excellent! Simple, elegant, reliable and well priced!
Useless and poor customer service
Had this product for a free trial (my account was charged even though it clearly says that you get a 30 day free trial) and I have been asking for a refund for 3 weeks as the service wasn’t what I was after. Was promised my £50 would be refunded with in 14 days. Been longer than that, no refund and now won’t respond to emails. Strongly advise everyone to not use this service as they are falsely advertising services and won’t respond to emails.
G
Good program works fine when used
Good speed but ...
Tested on home internet and a good guest internet. Very little reduction in upload or download speeds, impressive but: Won’t allow connection to my BT mail via my iPhone 8 Plus Mail app. Appears to randomly turn off. . In app FAQ/Support doesn’t open anything so no way for me to check or report in app.
It’s real.
Tried every VPN in the App Store. We all know the issues with VPNs. Battery hogs, disconnect all the time, don’t really hide your location, annoying ads and in-app purchases. Goose is none of these. you’re welcome.
Doesn’t work
You pick a subscription. Get a free trial. Seems great but all the app says is can not connect to itunes and can’t validate your subscription. 1 star never could use and most definitely turn of the subscription..... prove me wrong give me a trial and I will maybe update my review
Good
This goose vpn seems very good so far !!
Highly recommended
Really would love if there were more servers in the US, pref. On west coast ;) other than that, I love the stability of Goose VPN! And the generous trial offer and refer friend bonuses make this my new favorite VPN!! P.s. I use it on my PC as well as on both my phones, runs great on all platforms! Cheers
So far, crap.
Had it for like 3 days. Completely unreliable and inconsistent. Turns off randomly without warning, or reason. I see absolutely no reason to use this app unless you want your IP address revealed inadvertently. Try something else. Anything else. I’m still in my 30 day free use period and I’ll be canceling and uninstalling on day 29, if I can stomach it that long.
Works great, easy to use.
Title says it all.
Schweizer VPN wird einfach abgeschaltet
Nutze den schweizer VPN für Zattoo. Lief sehr gut. Schade.
