Cannot Connect to Camera
The camera looks like a great little camera but you cannot turn the date/time off. The config lets you change formats, but not turn it off. So I attempted to try using yhe RoadCam app. I turn on the network on the camera, connect up that WiFi on my phone, click the camera to connect to the camera and after a few seconds you get a popup message saying “Kindly Reminder please connect the WifFi cameras” The WiFi is from the camera and should be connected because the app displayed the network name under the camera icon. But I cannot access the camera. I went to the product help link, and it eventually sent me back here. Not good!

Upgrade
The application needs an upgrade. There is really no solution for English users. The application is Chinese, and unfortunately it's just a shame that it's like that.
Crashes
Takes a while to connect to the device. App crashes when I try and video videos or photos.
the app keeps crashing
I’ve been trying it for several days, and the app keeps crashing. It won’t open at all. It’s a garbage product.
Geri bildirim.
Doesn’t save settings, often freezes
It’s not the most intuitive app. I appreciate that all the text is Google translated-and that I don’t speak native Chinese. The settings won’t save camera quality, so nothing above 720 can be used without manually setting each time. The image can’t be flipped. so the camera and app are only really suitable for left hand drive cars-or you either record upside down, or have excessive wiring on the camera. Connecting to the dedicated WiFi is a real pain and means you have no internet when connected to the camera. It’s really not very well thought out. The really strange thing is being able to see other driver’s dashcam footage in the gallery. I’m not sure how it gets there as the writing is all in Chinese.
不好用
苹果15promax18.2的系统闪退

Junk
Absolutely junk. Don’t waste your money on this product. It flat will not connect to the app no matter what you try. Don’t let the 5 star reviews fool you. I will be returning this product and I feel sorry for anyone that bought this product.
Roadcam
Camera loads fine, but replay of files on slow speed permanently. Also as another reviewer said resolution reverts to 720 p after switch off. Considering hard wire kit so it stays at the correct resolution
Issues
I purchased three of these thumb action cameras and they are all junk period
Versatile Viewer
The viewer works with other WiFi enabled cameras I own not just the one I was recommended to download to view. Turn on the WiFi function on my camera and the app finds it really quickly and lists all the footage in the relevant sections and plays back seamlessly. Not being able to process the videos on the app is not a problem as I can use the iPhone screen record function to make a file copy if I need one.
Please update and fix
Poor app due to being unable to access videos and use the dashcam while connecting it to your phone. Fix!

Works Great
Everything works great! The only issue is with the timestamp. After having the camera for a couple months, the timestamp is way off.
Terrible
This app is horrendous. Try to open it and it just sits there on the orange screen. On the off chance it does open, if you click to connect the camera it will either automatically close out the app for some reason or sit there endlessly while you try to connect to the camera. It’s so bad I’m returning the camera.
Clips order
The most recent clips should be placed at the top in the App, then I don’t have to scroll down to the bottom to locate the recent clips.
Maybe serves a function BUT…
Have had this camera and app for about a year or so. At the moment no issues with the function of app or camera - not long ago I was hit by another car from behind and I was lucky to have kept distance to the car infront avoiding hitting it, yet this camera didn’t show anything of that. Conveniently it recorded the minute before and after the accident, so I wonder about the usefulness of them both. Other reviews state phones freeze but mine hasn’t in all this time (iPhone)
Thanks
Good app
Techalogic FHD 1080P dual RoadCam
The app works okay on my iPhone with my Techalogic RoadCam but, it would be nice if the app could adjust the colour balance of the camera; if that’s at all possible.
Hard to workout
The gps tells me I’m in Belgium when I’m actually in England. Don’t know how to change it & I can’t find out how anywhere !!!!!

Trash
App is trash like their products!! If you bought a device that links to this app take back note and save your time, money and sanity!!
..
Very poor quality requires updating
You get what you pay for. The app is very fiddly. The quality is poor. Unable to view the videos on the app without downloading. The time does not sync. Not recommended at all to anyone
Excellent
I had this app for over a year and not a single problem with it. I don’t understand the negative reviews?? Simple and easy instructions to follow to setup
app doesn’t work ever!
The app will not allow me to access any settings . constantly states to stop recording, but you can’t! worst thing ever. I just use a large as card and clear it every month now. app is worthless.
Works well but…
Just started using for the dash cam and no problems connecting so far and play back of files. Videos play fine and download without problem. But… every time I set the camera resolution to 1080p in the app it resets to 720 every time I power off/on.
RoadCam with Akaso via iPhone se
The video (capturing, recording and playback) works well. The photo captures but photos are not shown on iPhone screen via the app (they are not transferred via the Akaso v50x to the app and cannot be viewed). Not a fault with the v50x because all works well via a tablet (Samsung).
Some issues
The camera connected no problem. However, it says the card is full. I have tried formatting the card and it says it’s done it but then ‘card full’ again. This means the camera is NOT recording. I hope there is a solution.
