Functional and Easy to Use
It’s nice to have your entire schedule in one convenient place from classes to finals in order to better manage your time. It’s also nice to see watcard balance without the hassle of a separate login.
Logs out repeatedly, meal plan and Flex dollars out of date
Have to log in every time I open the app, can’t believe this is used to page ppl for interviews given its unreliability. Also, meal plan and flex dollar amounts are months out of date.
Getting Better
When I first downloaded the app in first year, there was nothing useful for me other than the map! Now, it seems that there’s Meal Plan/Flex Dollars balance, open classrooms, and more academics available to see in the app. Would definitely like to see more improvements.

Problem with signing in
Everything is fine except for the app signing me out many times a day. I have to go through the sign in process just to be able to check my class schedule and it’s pretty annoying.
Great improvement
When the app first launched it was not that good, lots of bugs and not very user friendly. I’m happy to say that portal is near perfect now, really helpful through everyday life especially finding places to study and finding exam schedules

Signing me out
Really annoying. everytime i close and reopen the app i have to go through the entire sign in process again. Also, the “this is my device, prompt 2FA less” button is the most useless option to ever exist. not bad aside from the glaring issue.
WHY
STOP making me sign in and confirm my device its only been 35 since i had the app open
Convenient
Calendar Schedule makes it very convenient to check class times and the new feature that shows the WatCard balance makes it so much easier to check flex dollars for laundry.
It would be great…
Makes you login every time you open the app with a full password, two factor authentication and way too many clicks. Takes a few minutes to login sometimes when I could just login to quest or whatever I actually need in less time. It has everything I’d want, but I hate to use it because of the time wasted. If I close and open the app right away, I have to login again.
Quick navigation and all useful at one place
Good place to check your calendar and the events registered. Easy navigation. Could add the old features that were out after upgrading.

quiz seating error
I like the update but not the fact that now we aren’t able to see our quiz seating until the day if the quiz.
Great new update
Was always useful for finding empty classrooms for revision and to be honest a lot more but now even better that it shows the watcard balance
2FA every time
It would be a 4/5 but I have to sign in and use 2FA EVERY SINGLE TIME I launch the app, even though I press “remember this device”. I’m always better off using Quest in a web browser because atleast that remembers my session.

Good app and useful.
Terrible quality
App works maybe 20% of the time, and that’s if it lets you sign in. Calendar/Schedule barely works, and does not provide accurate information. Expected much better from Waterloo.
Updates
It displays schedules, seating plans for exams, and Watcard balances! All things you would need to sign in to different sites to do. Love it
Update took away to point of the app
I used this app to see my schedule but the update took away the calendar so now I have no way to see my schedule. I don’t know why you would do this. I really need to see what classes I have and you took that away.
A bit clunky sometimes but...
Sometimes it can be a bit clunky but it can very helpful. When I am on campus and I want to know what I have next and/or my exams coming up quickly, it's the place to go. However, i would suggest that you add the ability to search or see the office hours of any prof you would like, and not just the prof that you are enrolled under. That would be very helpful.
Miss the old version
I remember downloading the app last year and thinking how great it was that UW had an app where I could have easy access to my classes and exam schedule. Now I sorely miss that! I think it would be a good option to add a reload WatCard function too.

Wrong Account
I think there’s something wrong? I log in with my ID and password, and I verify with 2FA but it appears I’m in someone else’s account. The name, student ID and username is all someone else’s.

Not the best
This app lost a lot of functionality in the most recent update.
Surprisingly good
Seems to have everything one would need and want in a university app, overall functions really well. I’m confused as to why there are so many negative comments.
