This was a step in the wrong direction
The worst in the series.
The block fortress franchise has some of the best games out there this game is not bad it is just the worst in the series i will list the reasons why: 1. Gameplay is different and less fun, The gameplay in bfe has two halves building and raiding while building you can make defences to prevent raiders from reaching your base and winning while raiding you can try and breach builders defences this is very different from the other two games gameplay since in both you build defences and battle a large number of enemys while in bfe you face only one (or two in co-op this makes the game too different to be as enjoyable as the first two and at later ranks defenders spam turrets ruining the game 2. Campaign is wasted potential, The campaign is the closest to the original game you build defences and battle a horde of enemys from 4 different factions (Goblock Zomblocks Botblocks Blockoids) however half of the defences have been removed which makes this gamemode less fun also once you finish all levels the campaign is unplayable which means all enemys from it are gone forever (decluding zomblock droids) it should be obvious why this is bad. 4, mods are gone, only people who played the original will understand mods in the original block fortress are a huge part of the progression and allow you a turn a pistol into a stunlocking uzi or make a shotgun deal ridiculous damage you get the picture? In the sequel block fortress war mods are replaced by equipment which can be used to modify your units allowing overpowered combinations and allow you to have fun experimenting mods were a staple of the block fortress franchise and removing them was a horrible decision on foursaken medias part 5, it killed the series, to remove some key features of the series change the gameplay so drastically and leave a potentially amazing part of the game unpolished was stupid on foursaken medias part on top of that they spent extra money on graphics ect why someone would make do many stupid decisions and invest lots of money into it is beyond me however the game under delivered and probably didnt make enough money for them to continue the series oh also dont forget the most expensive game to make in the series is also the most expensive honestly i do not understand why foursaken media would be so stupid however the block fortress series is now dead which is genuinely sad this series had some huge potential and has some very enjoyable games however it has been abandoned due to the creators own stupidity that is all i have to say on this review i highly recommend you try block fortress war instead as it is a much better experience however if you wish to play this i wont judge you after all i play it myself.
Poor balance
I mean pretty simple most attacking items are too OP resulting in defensive builds relying on similar builds or cheesing

Lost all my stuff Fix it maybe 👐😐 Also I’m adding later that the game is sort of disappointing, although I recommend you play it. The turrets look stupid and there are a bunch of easy ways to make your defense super broken op like getting the coastal map and just lining the first hill with guns that will out range you especially while u try to cross the water, also p2w get a massive advantage as they simply buy more “build points” and can just spam so many turrets you don’t have enough ammo or just can’t beat.. see for yourself

First off this game is very fun and i enjoy playing it although i have a bug of some sort where my home base is halfway filled with water and its just annoying to try and build anything in there. Please help
Buggy app
Some of the features are buggy like when I go to share the video to Global chat. It doesn’t show up some of weapons are glitch out when I select them, this is on IOS only I tried it on android with no problems.
It’s alright
It’s pretty fun when it works and makes it fair, but a lot of the time it gives you unfair bases to attack which they are almost double your level and impossible to beat
Super fun!
Game play is entertaining with aspects of strategy from Block Fortress War. But with the FPS experience you get from Block Fortress. You have a single player mode where you can fight the characters from Block Fortress War. As well as the raid where you can attack other players bases. You don’t lose anything if you are raided which is nice but it’s still fun to build defenses and see how a real person will react to your defenses. Which makes it a little more challenging than the other games Forsaken Media have released.
Not that fun of a game
Only reason it gets 2 is it was nice to see some of the raced from block fortress war. When is the next block fortress WAR?

Perfer old one
Nothing i have seen or done in this one is as fun as the old one to me. This seems to prefer graphics and new systems then core gameplay. If they made the old one with bigger maps more goblins spawning capability and longer games i would play the hell out of it. Until then im going back to the first one since this one does not focus on gameplay
Multiple issues
1. Apparently nobody is playing the game right now. Connected to USA (west/east) servers, Asia servers, Europe, Russia, and apparently nobody is matchmaking. Either literally nobody plays this game, matchmaking is bugged, or my WiFi decided to spaz again. 2. Lightning flash is extremely annoying and it makes your screen go all white for a few seconds, temporarily blinding you. This can either be a nuisance while building, or a nuisance when you’re trying to raid. 3. Upon reaching Lv. 2-3, A majority of the areas you’ll end up fighting players with powerful turrets far beyond that of which you are capable of. I ended up facing a guy with 4 melt turrets which I only survived because he had the decency to put a wall inbetween the turrets and the spawn. These are the biggest issues I found
Bring Block Fortress War Back
People loved the game and it kills me to be one of the only people who continues to play by my self. And make it free so everyone can enjoy it.

I always face the strongest opponents and I never win BeCAUSE YOU DEV ARE VERY CARELESS

I really like the game. It has great fps and 3rd person shooter aspects. The raids on other peoples unique bases feel great. The only criticism I have is the lack of a story.
Kind of good but…
This is a really good game it’s like a raid plus protect game I have fun playing it just either it was a demo or a different game I would love to have you to add a sandbox mode where you get every block and weapon and you can build stuff and youCan summon certain mobs and start the game and just see the battle go on and see if the little fort you made survives or dozen and see how much you can handle because that would make it much more fun for people that like sandbox games like me
Cool I guess.
Like, it’s a cool game but it doesn’t have the same love as the original game. It feels like a knockoff but I know it isn’t one. It feels as if something is missing from this game. The original game was addictive and fun but this game just feels bland and....well I don’t know how to exactly describe it. It’s just my opinion though. Maybe I’ll learn to enjoy your game in the future? I’ll just have to wait and see
Suggestion
I love the game but I have a suggestion for a new biome. There are many of them now but an aquatic one is what's missing. Water and liquids in the game makes it easier to hide defenses so I believe it will be a nice addition. Of course, some useful parts such as trees and mountains might be absent, but the large amounts of water will make up for it. There might be some smaller hills or pieces of land scattered around, but for the most part the surface is water. Maybe some parts are deeper and others are shallower. It'll definitely be fun to try out such a biome, especially for some players like me who are going for an aquatic theme for their whole base. Please consider this idea. Thank you!
Good game but...
Game is good though not as good as block fortress war because getting to destroy enemy barracks and playing as zomblocks or blokoids made the game more... interesting and hopefully they make a new block fortress game that isn’t as trashy as this and don’t think the devs ever read these reviews so you guess why block fortress empires doesn’t have that many players playing the the game right now (yes hackers don’t get punished on this game because the devs are super lazy and the game is completely trash!) the game is so trashy that I had to delete it completely and no I don’t do that very often only to the extremely bad games only alternative was to wait and see if there would be an update in the future but after what I read in one of these reviews saying that the devs don’t take any advice and likely the devs are lazy and don’t even care about what happens to the game itself and I doubt they will fix any more bugs they probably don’t even care if the game dies or not and no doubt I know it’s true after what I found out in these 1 star reviews don’t know why the devs resorted to a trashy game like this one and the reason that makes me say the game is trash is the devs haven’t fixed any bugs lately and increases the likelihood of the game being trash and yes I mean so if they make a new game of block fortress hope it’s better than this and yes I was hoping this game could’ve been better like a player said this game has wasted it’s potential!
Great game BUT........
First off love this game it has a cool idea behind it. There are Problems though. First block fortress war was such a great game (besides the multiplayer bc almost all new apple products don’t support Game Center anymore)(thus meaning apple players can’t play the multiplayer.) Besides that it was great I’m 16 and I still play the game regularly it is awesome much better than any other in your franchise. It has a great campaign and a cool endless mode but there were problems with it. (Still love it though. The main problem being the devs all abandoned the great game and left it to die. Like the last patch update was like over 1 and a half years ago. You guys can still make it up though. Through this game. You could add some cool features which people who played Block fortress war wanted. These being -sandbox mode where you can have everything with unlimited space and resources. -level creators where players could create two AI factions to fight and the player could build their army’s up along with their defenses. Thing for this game to fix -Get rid of the god dang paywall. Your games are great but to sink so low you have to pay wall this with 3 hour loot box’s and you have to wait 1-3 hours for campaign. It’s outrageous like this is a fun game but the paywall definitely ruined it for the most part. -you could still add a sand box like previously said above -add troops back (in my opinion the troops were one of the best parts of block fortress war and it be great to see troops who’s loadouts you could pick charge head first into the enemies ahead. -fix your multiplayer severs for east United States it says there are no people online. Those are my thoughts. Hope you consider fixing stuff and also upgrade block fortress war.

Make another Block Fortress War. These new mechanics aren’t fun. Raids? Really? What’s is this? Clash? You had a unique thing going on and you ruined it by conforming to the gameplay model that mobile games are notorious for (which isn’t a good thing).
great but some things are whack
I love the block fortress saga the idea of build and defend is really cool and when bf empires came around i thought bro this is cool and it was but i noticed when i got into rank 10 a lot of hackers started attacking me like one time i was attacked by a player and he walked past my defense and traps without cloaking device and with raids i noticed a lot of players somehow remove their door in their base and fill the outside map with water and about the weapons the drill is too op it has too much capicity and players also drill right under my base the canister launcher also needs some adjustment well those are my thoughts

Everything EXCEPT THE MULTIPLAYER
Everything was alright. there were lootcrates, to be expected, the their opening times and open slots are too little. I got multiple boxes with an 8 hour unlock time, usually leaving me to abandon the game half the day. That much is fine, since there are ads that can shorten the length to open. The multiplayer, however, was ATROCIOUS. I had around 100 ping, but the connection was trash, making movement slow and jittery compared to the normal singleplayer raid. The chat is equally bad, with the potential to spam the top half of my screen with trash. How am I supposed to earn 20 Co-Op stars if I cannot even do a single raid?

Little content and classic mobile game
Good luck attacking another players base that’s the only things you can do. “The block fortress defending monster style”only have a few stage. Also it completely worst than the classic block fortress you have ever played.! The biggest issues is the chests, you will end up having 4 slots to keep chests whereas you have to wait many hours just to OPEN A CHEST!!!
Greatest game ever played but..
I’m telling you, this is a amazing but there is still a problem, Once you deleted somthing off the market Like if there was a problem with it, and then resell it after, I tried making a minecraft tree, it looked bad, then I have it off to rebuild it better, but it got permanently deleted, It was bad, now that build is gone and in my builds, PLEASE Fix this..

Humans and chests
Can you add humans to the game there basically robots but with more Heath and can be equipped with the same guns as you.there would be three variations defense humans which well defend what ever tower or gate you have them defend. If the tower there defending is taken the retreat to ether the tower or gate behind them. If they run out of ammo they’ll run to the gate or tower there defending and they’ll be given more ammo. The attack version goes with you on raids where they can be set to ether follow or take objective. And the last variant is the build variant these guys kinda just wander sitting on couches, making food, eating food, sleeping, playing games dancing and ether stuff. They can only interact with set items. They can be created at a cloning device however they come at a cost you can only have one every level (defenders do not take up defense points and you can have as many build variants as you whant. Secondly now won what’s to wait a hour or more for crates instead can they be opened immediately with keys wich you can get by raiding ai controlled buildings including spaceships, laboratory’s, and factories all of these are owned by a new race the ethaphentary a wich are basically just humans with trunks how ever there are ether players who well be there trying to take the key for themselves. To win get the key to the Evak point and you win but ether players can kill you and take the key to there evak . or you can just buy a key with real money or wait three hours.

I’ve written over like 10 reviews and my opinion isn’t being heard soo if you want the developers taking your advice forget it and also you people are lazy it’s been 3 months and you haven’t made one update scince last time I made a review and the games boooooring as hell after like a month so I would NOT recommend. Repeat NOT!!!!!!

Love the game tons. Though the connection to servers or something needs to be fixed because of how after raiding a base and rating it, or just finished the base raid, I get sent home without any record or reward for what I just did.

It’s A Great Game I’m A Level 4 Player And I’m Trying To Level Up But My EXP Is At 199/200 And I Try To Make It Go Up But Nothing Is Working So I’m Stuck At That Level.
Needs reset button
I have been playing this game for a day and it’s really good so far but it needs a reset button to reset you base back to how it started so you don’t have to spend 1 hour resetting it manually

My honest opinion of this game is great but it doesn’t provide that much “End Game Content.” I’ve been playing since the early Alpha/Closed Beta of this game and can say not much has really changed in terms of content available besides removed weapons/ features.I really enjoyed playing this game but after you reach (rank 10) there’s not much to do which is a shame because that’s the max league you can be in.What I’m trying to say is if you plan on playing long term there really isn’t much to do besides grinding. Update Ideas *Bring replay-able campaign levels for mineral rewards *Bring back the daily challenging (Phantom Planet) Bring somewhat value back into the Campaign we fight unique enemies then after that we never face them in battle again it’s a missed opportunity as a side thing instead of constant multiplayer raiding. Bring in higher ranks past 10 for more loot/minerals earned upgrading things from 8-13 takes a lot more time...

Has potential
Just found this game recently and there hasn’t been an update in 6 months. I see so much potential for this game. Please fix co-op raids and maybe a have an option to share one base with your empire. Also do empire vs empire. I’m a low lvl but I am enjoying it for now. I hope fixes and future updates come soon
