amazing! but
this game is amazing, i’ve always loved it, even since i was little, and even since, i’ve always noticed that there is a weird audio glitch that happens sometimes and it gets annoying, could you possibly recommend a way to fix it, or fix it?
Ads on top of ads
Game is fine. Ads are bad enough, but I get it. What I can’t get behind is a mini ad screen within the game as you are playing on top of the regular ad breaks. To make matters worse, those mini ads play at full volume and if you mute them it mutes the game music and noises until you turn it back on in settings. It’s not worth it for me.
Amazing, but restricting of fashion
Very fun mechanic and easy gameplay, but the prize machine could use a reboot because the skins feel impossible to obtain

So I love this game I used to play it all the time when I had my old iPad and I wouldn’t step on the cracks when I would walk with my mom and dad and now that I found it again I was so happy and I ask my mom to download it and she allowed me but the thing that’s makes me upset is that there is ads ads and ADS so I was maybe thing if you could make no ads? Or maybe just add less adds?

Needs easier controls
Fun but unplayable
The gameplay and visuals are fun so I’ll give a star for that. However, you’ll get ad after ad and they have this awful feature where an audio ad will play instead of the music and occasionally a full screen ad will play during this as well. Occasionally the audio will glitch out of the barrage of ads and then I’ll have to restart the app and wait a full 10 seconds just for it to load back up. Why does this company think anyone would want to play this ad ridden, bugged out mess???

Can we replace male words such as bro in the game with neutral words?
As a female player, I don't like the masculine names and words of brothers and other players in the game. I hope the official can change them. The game is fun, but the default player is male, which makes me uncomfortable. At the beginning of the game, I hope to increase my choice of gender and then enter the dialogue, instead of directly using the male image to carry out the plot.

Was an ok game when it first came out but was then flooded with a paywall of useless content you couldn’t get unless you gave your money up and now I tried playing the game again and it’s asking for 8 dollars a week, absolute scam and a trap for little kids who play the game that don’t know any better, nobodies giving you 8 dollars a week and 32 dollars a month to get skins and an extra life.

Learn to watch ads… again!
The year was 2017. My girlfriend at the time was sitting next to me when she started playing this wacky and fun-looking game on her phone. Enter ‘Steppy Pants’! This was the first time I got to see (and had a play of) this game. Back then it was fresh, the developers released some new interesting modes, and in a general sense the game felt pretty rewarding when you made progress in any of its mode offerings. For us, we only toiled with the game for a few months but we had a blast! The game then was simple, it was low (or no) cost, and there wasn’t any intrusive ads to speak of. Fast forward to 2025 and I had a sudden nostalgic urge to pick this game up again! Do I regret this decision? Not necessarily. But I did have to “Learn to watch ads… again” (see what I did there?). For most of my mobile gaming career, if you can even call it that, was that I made a habit of avoiding any game that was riddled with intrusive ads. I only EVER made exceptions to titles that were able to deliver ads in a fair and reasonable manner, or titles in which you can make a purchase to remove said ads. So it came as a shock to me that when I revisited Steppy Pants it’s not quite the experience I remembered it to be! Unfortunately Steppy Pants in its current state is more akin to an advertising platform before it being a game. Which is a shame, because beneath the abundance of ads, you can still find that same silly fun game we experienced in 2017. To add insult to injury, the game, despite years of “support” and patch releases, has barely changed. Not to say this is a bad thing BUT I did expect at least some quality of life improvements. Instead we got maybe 1-2 new modes and a handful of cosmetics. And whilst those additions was nice, it was completely marred by the fact the developers decided to enforce BOTH ‘Mandatory Ads’ (ads needed to even just play the game) and ‘Optional Ads’ in which if you wish to even have a hope of unlocking cosmetics you NEED to watch the Optional Ads… because in-game currency progress is heavily tied to the Optional Ads. And here is where the game REALLY sours. It’s the reason why I am giving this game 2-Stars. The “VIP Steppy Service”. Yep… the design of the ad delivery is to piss you off just enough that you want to subscribe to their VIP Steppy Service to skip the ads. But wait! In the cosmetic in-game store you can simply purchase the “Moneybags” outfit to “Remove the ads” as a one-time purchase. Guess what? It’s false advertising. Purchasing that outfit does NOT remove any ads at all. About $5 AUD down the drain for that. So what about the VIP Steppy Service subscription? Well for $12 A WEEK it’s atrocious long-term value for any player. It’s also a 2-Day Free Trial instead of the advertised 3! But after trying this subscription service for myself the real kick in the guts is that it’s false advertising AGAIN! The subscription promises to remove all ads, but it doesn’t do that. I still get random audio ads played during gameplay which is distracting at best and frustrating at worst. The subscription service, more accurately, is that it heavily reduces the ads. It doesn’t stop them completely. The only other good things about the VIP Steppy Service is that you can make in-game progress and currency farming a heck of a lot faster and easier. But at a weekly price point of $12 I find myself having to grind hard to unlock everything as quick as possible to make that price worthwhile in the short term. It’s not even being a week and I’m already looking forward to cancelling my subscription. So I suspect for a majority of customers this isn’t a good deal for them. If the developers shoved out more interesting content and actually added QoL stuff in the almost 10 years this game has being out, I could see the VIP Steppy Service as perhaps worthwhile. But from my point of view I feel like these devs slapped on a premium sticker to their game and called it a day. I mean for heavens sake could you guys at least give the player the ability to control the direction of the camera??? It’s nice when the camera pans to look at what’s ahead of your character… but when the camera randomly pans the other direction to behind the character I lose my step-flow. This is frustrating to me and this game should have this option by now but it doesn’t. Anyways if anyone is still reading this, give yourself a tap on the back. You done well. Now do yourself a favour by avoiding this title until the developers, at the very least, fixes up their disgraceful and illegal false advertising. Shame on them for that. :( Cheers! my money dissipears
the game itself is amazing but i have witnessed on many accounts my in game coins disappearing and never reaching 100 unless with the help of the delivery box. i just want my character to look cool man why do i see my coins go from 77 to 42 after one lost round please fix it!!!

Well when I first got it (last week) I was about to throw my iPad across the room because when I am not even close to stepping on a crake it makes me do that,and also when I tap and hold for about 1 second (wich would not make me step on the crack also because there is no red warning on my foot)I would step on the crack Now I’m still playing it but I feel the same to be honest it’s just not my thing So if you have anger issues and/or you get very mad,very easily do not get this game because you don’t want to brake you’re iphone/iPad like I felt like doing

i downloaded this game for the first time in years yesterday, i played it for a bit and went to bed, in the morning when i tried to play it again it crashed and it has continued to crash every time i open it. This is super super annoying, i literally can’t even get into any gameplay, occasionally i’ll get an ad before the game even starts and then it crashes. When i played this years ago it did the same thing and that’s why i deleted it. please please fix this cause it makes me so mad and i love this game 😭

Hello! I like playing a game for a week then reviewing them! So today I'm reviewing Steppy Pants! So my three star review is only cause of one thing that the game has...it's the face. So the game won't let me on and that's pretty annoying but they put a funny blue face for me to look at 🤣. I haven't play the actual game but I like the blue weird face so yeah! Overall this is a solid game and I enjoy playing it, though there are a few things I can suggest to improve the game. I think that in the running mode were the aim is to get the fastest run possible there should be an option to race you PB and an option to restart the run in the middle of running incase you mess up.
