Generally good
The app is stable and for the most part it does what you need. One frustration for me is that the usage charts don’t have an option to show the power in Watts. Octopus, if you’re reading this, please add!
Late billing again.
Despite half hourly readings, I am no longer receiving my monthly bill as I have in the past. If you’re offering various useage and money saving incentives at least have the software updated to support these functions.

Lie about meters. AVOID!
Say I’ve got a smart meter and I don’t, two engineers have been round and can’t get a signal as meters are in my basement. Customer service just lie and argue with you, then when you say you want it looked into they ignore you. Now that they’ve ridiculously overcharged me when I’ve barely been home they’re sending my account to a debt management company. Scum! Currently looking to leave

Lorsque l on planifie une recharge, la communication est bien envoyée sur myAudi mais le planning est totalement erroné ! Ex: on est Mardi, je souhaite planifier une recharge entre 12h30 et 16h, résultat dans myAudi : planification le Samedi à 12h00 !!!

Wenn man sich im Browser in sein Octopus Konto eingeloggt, sieht man deutlich mehr Information. Schade dass die App so wenig kann.

It stops working
Every few months it just won’t let me log in. All my details are correct as I can log in to it on the website and I have the new version app but just keeps happening it’s so frustrating. It’s good when it works.

Leider ist es nicht möglich den Verbrauch anhand der Tarifverteilung für den aktuellen Monat sich anzeigen zu lassen! Durch den Smartmeter sollte dies möglich sein, denn es wird danach auch abgerechnet. Daher ist die Kostenübersicht in der App nicht gegeben. Zum Glück habe ich einen Shelly Pro 3em installiert der mir die Tarifverteilung recht genau nach Std., Tag, Monat, Jahr in der Shelly App anzeigt! Nicht mehr aktive Verträge sind in der App nicht von aktiven Verträgen zu unterscheiden! Nutze die App daher so gut wie gar nicht mehr und werfe nur nach einem Update ein Blick in die App und wenn mir keine Änderungen auffallen, nutze ich die App nicht mehr bis zum nächsten Update!

Cette application elle a des gros problèmes, je présume de conception un jour, elle va les autres jours elle ne va pas vous mettez votre mail votre mot de passe et le lendemain il vous dit c'est pas le bon mot de passe voilà à corriger rapidement

Second gas meter that’s been fitted, also minis fitted and still gas meter doesn’t send readings!
Show usage over time, not just readings
I wonder if I’m the only one who’d like to see gas and electricity consumption over a period of time (say, a month). I can see the bills and meter readings, but not how much I’ve actually used — I have to take readings on the same date myself to work that out. It would be great if the app showed these calculations for me in a usage tab instead.

Die App ist übersichtlich. Es fehlt für mich eine Funktion, die der Versorger mit den 3 Buchstaben anbietet. Das einfache Prüfen durch Zwischenstandeingabe in der App, ob die Abschlagszahlung zum Verbrauch passen.

Price increase like crazy
Been using them for 3 years because my husband because my husband was so lazy to browse for the better price, the bill went from ~100$/month (1st year) to ~250$/month (3rd year). I found better price from another provider and tried to contact them to cancel my renewal but no one pick up the phone or answer my email. The worst company and customer service ever!! I never give a bad review, but they are the worst.

Octopus is great but ….
I don’t love the app. I use octopus mainly on iPad and iPhone, and try as I might I am unable to download the half hourly figures for EV usage over a period. It doesn’t work even when I use the website. Only if I use a PC. Bring back the old device page which gave you a total of kWh used for EV charging per day.
Stabil aber ausbaufähig
Grundsätzlich durchdachte App und guter Anbieter. Leider werden die Transaktionen nicht mehr so übersichtlich dargestellt wie es vor ca. 4 vorversionen der Fall war. Im Intelligent Tarif werden in der App keine Verbrauchsstatistiken angezeigt. Hierfür muss man über den Browser rein. Aktuell sind smart geladene kWh nicht ersichtlich. Bitte hier unbedingt nachbessern.

Bait and switch
They changed my energy rate after signing up. And I’m not talking about the rate increasing after my contract period expired. The rate was higher from day one from what I can see. I canceled as soon as I noticed which was less than 2 months into a 18 month contract. I would not recommend this service.

Cool wäre noch eine Empfehlungsfunktion zur Anpassung der monatlichen Abschläge auf Basis von unterjährigen Zählerständen.

App mit Potenzial nach oben
Die App ist gut durchdacht, hat jedoch meiner Meinung nach noch etwas Potenzial nach oben. Mir persönlich fehlt zum Beispiel, dass ich auf einen Blick sehen kann, wieviel Guthaben ich auf meinem Kundenkonto habe. Mal davon abgesehen, dass die Einträge unter „Abrechnungen“ auf Englisch sind. Ebenfalls fehlt mir die Möglichkeit, dass ich direkt über die App mit dem Kundenservice in Kontakt treten kann (nicht via Mail - sondern über ein integriertes Kontaktformular oder via Chat). Zudem ist mir aufgefallen, dass jedes Wochenende in der App steht: Tarif nicht verfügbar Aktuell sind nicht alle deine tarif verfügbar. Entnimm die Details in der Zwischenzeit deiner Abrechnung oder versuche es später noch mal.

Good app, but recently moved from another electric provider that had a projected energy use (or bill) feature that was extremely informative. I wish that Octopus Energy would also add this feature to their app. Otherwise no complaints or concerns with the app. Solid and works as designed.
Wöchentliches Update der App?
Es ist bei ein paar Dateninformationen nicht nachvollziehbar, warum durch/an eine(r) App regelmäßig Veränderungen stattfinden. Mich macht das ehr misstrauisch. Ich werde die App wohl wieder löschen.
„da geht noch mehr“
Liebes Team. Ich bin ein überzeugter „octopus Energy - Fan“ und bereits lange Kunde. Wir nutzen den dynamischen Stromtarif. Eure App ist „gut“ - aber „da geht noch mehr“ > z.B. erscheint auf der Startseite ein Hinweis zu den „News am Energiemarkt“ > a) sind die „News“ bereits viele Wochen alt und b) würde ich sie gerne ausblenden, da bereits x-mal gelesen… Dann gibt es auf der Startseite noch weitere Infos, welche man ausblenden könnte.. (Kundenwerbung/Zählerstand). zudem wird immer wieder ein Link zur Webseite hergestellt – und von dort wird immer angeboten, die App zu nutzen… Quasi ein Pingpong-Spiel… Die optische Darstellung der dynamischen Stromtarife ist auch „na ja“… / Liebe Grüße und Bremen :)

Including raw meter readings
A good app (and web page). It would be improved further if you included the raw meter readings in the app, on the web page, and on the bill. This would facilitate tracking of energy use by month, should users choose to do so. (It’s much easier to determine total electricity use over a period by simply subtracting one meter reading from another, than having to add up a series of individual monthly totals).

Web page is better
The web page viewed on my phone or iPad is still more valuable to use. It uses the screen real estate better, I can turn the device to horizontal when I want to check the usage per hour graph in wider landscape mode. Also, the native app still doesn’t show use of time, which is the most interesting aspect. How about you add the few lines of code to your web page that it would run like a web app? Then I can bookmark the web page to the Home Screen and have an app like feeling without the need for another native app.
