Great resource
This is one of the best recovery app’s I’ve ever used.
Very disappointed
I downloaded this app on the advice of my AA sponsor. Very disappointed that you now charge for the padlocked content. She was too as hers must have been in use before these were introduced. Such a shame as everything was in one place. I am disabled and on benefits so can’t afford the fees. I have listed to the doctors opinion but I hope there will be no charge through iTunes. I am deleting the app as can find it all online but just more complicated. Thanks and I hope you take notice of this. Sarah
App does not seem to be working
I was enjoying the program greatly up until yesterday. I had stopped halfway through “Bill’s Story”. When I went back to it, the app dropped me out. This happened several times. Before you ask, yes I did pay the $14.99 to get access to all of the chapters.
AA
Very Powerful
Payment glitch
They want you to subscribe, but they don’t have a way to unsubscribe and they continue to charge you after you thought you cancelled
Really good stuff!!!
My favorite app! All around, so useful! I really enjoyed the history of AA; I very much enjoy knowing the history of the program that saved my life!! The speaker tapes are amazing; I love the quick access to my fellows! I wish one thing was different about the app…. I wish we could mark if we have listened to something; I find myself losing my place in each area; my workaround is to carry a little note pad and note what I have listened to. I have shared this app with many and I hear they all love it!!! Thank you!!!

Love it!
These guys are great, learning and laughing is the way to go…
Do not buy this app
Sadly this app does not work if you want to listen in the car. Why? If an alarm goes off on your iPhone, or a phone call rings whilst listening...the only way you can restart listening is by going into the app and pressing the displayed pause button ...and then play. Even if you see a play button on the Home Screen it will not restart unless you go into the app and pause first then play I have asked for a refund
Excellent resource
So many high quality texts in audio form, and other inspirational and practical resources. The purchase is worth it to gain access to all of the workshops and audiobooks that cost more if purchased on their own. The app is well organized and easy to use. Sven though it’s available for free elsewhere, it would still be nice to have access to the actual literature here as well.
Step by step guide
I love Joe & Charlie, they are funny, and very simple to understand.

Wonderful App
Great app. A great augment to my program.
Big book of Alcoholics Anonymous
Great book nice to know it’s a textbook mostly anyway!
Once upon a time a free resource
I find it rather disingenuous to be charging people for a free resource. Not only is ALL of the information and readings online elsewhere for free but this apps contents used to be free. I’ve had this app for 6 years, I opened it recently as I saw the app image had changed, first 3 chapters free and then a paywall. Disgraceful Go online to numerous sources and find Joe & Charlie free
Awesome!😍
I love this app! Best down to earth material in the game! Thank you God!🙏🏾🙏🏾
Not as described
A lot of features, including anything by Joe and Charlie are not on this app. The link to upgrade doesn’t work and the only parts of the big book that are available are the Foreword to Bill’s story
Good program
Can listen to anytime
Joe & Charlie Big Book 12 steps
I enjoyed the Joe & Charlie Big Book 12step tapes when I was newer in AA. I now have them on my phone. I’ve been sober 37 yrs this Nov. 17th.. Sometimes, I can attend a meeting of mostly old timers that uses the Joe & Charlie tapes. After they listen to part of the chapter they talk about it. It’s a great meeting. Joe and Charlie were good AA and good people.
Good news!
Great information! It works if you work it!
Very useful, actually entertaining
Joe and Charlie explain the the steps in a straightforward and easy to relate way, and actually throw some humor into interpreting and applying the 12 steps.
