Premium content
I purchased some premium dashes before the subscription. Now I need to purchase a subscription to access them! What gives? I didn’t need to sign in before. The dashes were tied to my Apple ID since I downloaded it from the App Store
Worked until it didn’t
App won’t load on my tablet after recent update. I tried to make a new topic on the forum to ask about it, but it won’t let me, says I’m “not permitted to view the requested resource”. I don’t see any way to contact anyone, the one contact link on your forum took me to a broken link. *update* it only took a couple days for them to have this issue fixed and they responded quickly.
Quit working
We’ve been using RealDash with a canbus controller for a Tesla battery as part of a custom car that uses Tesla components. After working well for the past year it abruptly quit working due to firmware changes in the app. So far RealDash has been unable to correct the problem effectively disabling numerous projects. Disappointing.
It doesn’t work with Nissan Y61.
The app is very nice but it doesn't work with the Nissan Patrol Y61 2014.

Zu langsam und teilweise unklar
Hauptproblem: die Darstellung des Tachos ist verzögert. Zwar nur um 200ms oder so, aber genug, dass es nervig ist. Passiert bei keiner anderen App. Das Werkstatt-Menü ist unübersichtlich, man weiß nicht, welche Funktionen es hier gibt, wo man tippen muss. Warum muss man Motordaten eingeben, wenn das aus der ECU gelesen werden kann. Eher eine Spielerei.

This app is criminally underrated
I’ve used this app for a little over a year and I feel like it deserves way more attention. The dashboards included are very good quality, and it’s pretty easy to create your own. There is lots of connectivity, and the actual connection process is rather straightforward. The base version is plenty to get started, and the premium version offers plenty more. Overall, I think this app is great.
No screen orientation
Without screen orientation it’s useless. Also, no parameters for air/ fuel ratio. Not worth it.

Awesome app.
I just mounted my iPad in the car and have this running while driving. Found an awesome display in the gallery for $1.99. Honestly my ONLY complaint is I wish the map would auto-rotate for the direction you’re facing like most other navigation systems. I would love to see this implemented if at all possible.
So complicated!
Could be great but design is SO complicated that a normal user who would love it otherwise will get frustrated and move on. For example deleting a section of a dashboard that you don’t want, is nonexistent. You basically have to “hide” every little element of that section. Takes forever! Also it’s a massive battery drain. A shame...

Great app, better than torque
Infinitely customizable and way better than competing apps. However I am currently slightly annoyed with the developer because there has been no support available since May 2021 -now over a month as of this writing. I paid for premium and I need continued support. I hope the developer is OK healthwise and returns to supporting his application soon. I have developed entire “glass dash” and “Tesla style” car dashboards using this app.
Stuck in portrait
Brand new iPad mini. Stuck in portrait, can’t find any way out even with locking iPad in landscape. Super frustrating
Could be a great way to achieve a digital dash in older cars
So far I really like this app and the price is very competitive for what you get. It’s really a bargain for the quality of craftsmanship you get with the digital gauges. 1: Some features that could be added would be an absolute win however would be to make this work with APPLE CARPLAY, because then I could access this with my cars digital stereo monitor whitch would be stellar! 2: instead of just dash graphics they should make OEM style auxiliary display graphics for information as well. As Audi BMW and Mercedes all have a digital auxiliary display to compliment their digital dash read outs. This could also be another great form of income for the company. I know I’d rather have an OEM looking auxiliary display than the digital dash if I’m not using it as my IP cluster. 3: Currently using my digital dash over WiFi enabled OBD2 reader the information has a lag where the needles jump every second or the mph display jumps vs being fluid. Like a heart beat of information and is distracting, It be nice if their was an algorithm that smoothed this out and made it seem more OEM. This may cause some other issues but I’m sure a sweet spot could take the bouncy delay away. 4: a way that you could buy a monitor or android based tablet and use this software technology to somehow replace or cover the OEM cluster to make a real digital dash over the factory old style gauges. Have OEM style startup screen and really make a true digital dash to replace the old tired mechanical cluster. The Chinese companies are making digital retrofit products for older cars and charging hundreds of dollars, if we could make this work at a fraction of the cost plus some custom housing hours we could have an ultra cool product here. If this is an option please send me to the right place! Thanks guys for making this a reality!

It appears the main purpose of this app is to serve full-screen ads on startup, after a long and perfectly useless “splash screen” ceremony that you have to wait on while the ad is downloaded. This is a waste of money.

I payed the premium the reason I downloaded this app was to be able to use hondata like it was advertised as. Sadly it doesn’t give me an option which is disappointing if anyone can fix this my rate will go up. Payed premium and app is useless to me currently.

The developer has truly done an amazing job. A lot of work went into this and it shows. The only thing I would change is the garage feature. I’m sure it took a lot of time to make but I feel like the app would greatly benefit from just a regular menu instead of a car and garage.
Total garbage
Downloaded the free version to see if I liked it. Could not get past the initial setup because a game app advertisement popped up every time I changed something. Input engine size- advertisement Input rpm - advertisement Input anything - advertisement I have need screwing with this piece of junk for 10 minutes and I can’t get to the blue tooth pairing because of all the advertisements. No way will I spend money on this trash. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Used with iPhone this app work better than any I have found. Using it As my main dashboard on a Lotus Elise. All gauges function perfectly except for the fuel level… Perhaps they will fix this soon. An absolutely great app.

Tons of ads even after iap

Could be great. I need a screen with many gauges. I need to be able to set limits for each gauge. I need gauge to be green unless the limit is reached then it turns red or yellow. I want to use this app for rally racing so my co-driver can monitor engine during race. I have a feeling you are that good. Make it happen!

Needs a whole lot of work!
I installed this app because it looked like it had potential. That's not the case. I'm on an iPhone 7 Plus and this app doesn't use the whole screen. I can't make any selections what-so-ever, meaning the settings of this app are inaccessible, the second time I opened the app I'm being nagged to purchase an upgrade but I can't even hit the exit button on screen to get out of it because making a selection in this app is impossible! This app was just updated on May 7th 2017 and it doesn't make use of all the screen real estate on Plus model iPhones!!! This is a great example of shotty development. And then to nag me to pay for this junk. It may look like it's worth a try but it really isn't.

Really awesome app it nice u can custom make your gauges and set it up however u want. i been looking for an app like this that gives u the freedom to personalize Gauges and be able to use them to check the status of ur vehicle. Like all apps this program is not perfect the problem I'm experiencing is that the app closes every single time when connected to an wifi obd2 adapter. I can only use the app for a couple of mins and then it closes but when I'm creating custom gauges the app never closes it works like a charm I hope the developer can fix this or can give me any advice in how to fix this but overall it's a awesome app
Crashes when connecting to ODB
The app was really awesome, until I went to connect the dashboard I spent hours on to my ODBii on my iPad mini 2. It crashes every time. I REALLY want this app to work. Please fix! This app has a ton of potential!

Changing my review after reading their description more carefully. Coolest looking dashboards, just not capable of reading the obd2 values as well as other apps such as speed, etc. It does read rpm's though, but that seems it. Had to revert to other app. As soon as that changes I will download again. Great job with the nice interface.
