Great Game!
This game is one of the best turtle games I’ve ever played! Good graphics for mobile at least, creative and sick concept and decent gameplay! First, graphics, the graphics for this game isn’t pc level, but what do you expect? It’s mobile and it’s good for mobile. Next is concept, it’s amazing for a game! I mean rats shooting bugs and other animals on top of a highly armored tortoise with other army rats, like come on, that’s so COOL! And creative! Like who could think of that?!? Next is gameplay, it’s a game with waves coming and coming. I find it boring when you get to later waves, but it’s still fun at many other times, the upgrades are cool and I enjoy the types of things you can buy! This is the best turtle games I’ve played so far!

Only one problem
This is an AMAZING game, but ONE problem made me stop playing it, so now I only play the sequel. This game only forces you to watch ads when you open it. Not a big deal, right? This isn’t even a problem, on its own. However, the game frequently crashes when you open the menu to spend the money you get from enemies, waves, and mining. Then you have to watch an ad when you reopen the game. So when I’m feeling totally immersed, I’m suddenly kicked out and have to watch an ad to reopen the game. What’s more frustrating is that if you get 15 of the special currency, you can remove ads without spending a cent, so I plowed on, despite the crashes and ads, hoping to get rid of the ads and finally enjoy the game, but I eventually ran out of patience. If you have high patience with ads, play this game! It’s great! But it has a sequel without these problems, if you can’t reach the point of finally getting rid of ads.
Too much wait time to continue
The game is fun, just downloaded it today. But won’t be continuing to play because each time you die you have to wait longer and longer before being able to continue
Only been playing for a day
So far this game is really cool! I’m disappointed that none of the options to watch videos for rewards are working though. Kind of frustrating.

Gameplay is good and so is progression but why is there an ad every time you start the game? Followed by an optional ad to double offline resources then another optional ad for a free perk

Its a really fun game and is very enjoyable but it gets to a point where you need to spend actual money to progress, i played this game when it got released and now came back due to the second game being released soon. One big issue is NONSTOP ADS LIKE CAN I NOT JUST LAUNCE THE GAME WITHOUT BEING BOMBARDED BY THREE (3) ads back to back, BACK TO BACK AS IN CLICK CLOSE AD AND MORE ADS APPEARED. CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE JUST EITHER REMOVE THE ADS OR MAKE IT SO I CAN PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT THROWING MONEY AT THE DEVELOPERS. BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND NEEDING TO MAKE A PROFIT BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND IM CONTINUING IN ALL CAPS IN THE HOPE THAT IT REACHES SOMONE

I knew from the start when I seen the sequel and read the reviews I heard it had a prequal and I always play the originals first this game is amazing very very smooth and fun to play graphics are great and I’m so excited for the sequel!

Good game, not sure if it is still being supported
DL this game years ago, lost my progress when my phone’s internal drive failed and I didn’t have a backup. Anyway, started playing it again from scratch, still good enjoyable gameplay, but now no “video” will load for any login or other bonuses. That will greatly impact ability to progress and unlock heroes and other upgrades. Still fun to play, especially during this quarantine.

Great game, but..
Great game. Very rewarding when you “prestige” and with idling offline. Upgrades are fun and well thought out. However: 70% of the time I watch an Ad. Th game either crashes or the Ad. Half loads, not letting me watch it completely. This happens on both my 6s and my girlfriends 6s+ please get this sorted as it is ruining my fun! #nofreeperks :(

I am about to embark on a diplomatic mission to Texas, and I figured I should give my thanks to the wonderful meta-changing internet famous game, War Tortoise. However, I have just made contact with the space cats of Pluto, and they want to steal War Tortoise from us! I require reinforcements! They will begin their invasion on the eclipse of the 8th! HELP
Too Many Ads
Gave it a week and the number of ads were a turn off. The game play is simple and boring after a few days. In the end it’s not worth my time.
Double perk choose is not working.
After buying the double perk choose, it’s not even let you choose two perk per purchase.

I still do and have since I got it in 2019 but then the released war tortoise 2 now I have that on the shelves of my do not delete section of my Home Screen i muss this game it was my favorite and is filled to the brim with nostalgia. great job devs love your work keep it up!
Adds are aggressively annoying
You have to watch an add every time you turn the game on. It’s annoying as hell. Beyond that the adds are buggy and commonly don’t work right. I’ll watch 30-45 seconds of adds, it bugs out and then I have to restart. Another 30-45 seconds of adds. Maybe it will work, maybe not. It’s a shame, because it’s a fun game, but the adds make it unplayable for me.

とにかく広告表示が邪魔 ゲームをしようと思ってアプリを開くとまず広告30秒。この段階でアプリ開くのがダルくなります。ゲームプレイ時は画面が切り替わる時とかに関わらず銃撃真っ只中でも唐突な広告表示。画面切り替わる時にも時々広告表示。これを改善するには課金通貨が必要。 内容はとても面白いし、広告の必要性はわかるんですがせめてアプリ起動で広告表示はやる気が失せるのでやめた方がいいと思います。 あと、Level60以降あたりからのカクツキが凄まじく、iPhone7ではそれ以降まともなゲームにならないのと、充電しながら必須じゃないとプレイできないような半端ない充電消費量も改善して欲しいです。
Fun game killed by timers
Look, it’s a very polished game with a very cute design. But every time you die, you have to wait or watch an ad. So I bought the IAP to remove the ads and support the devs. Last time I died, I still had a timer of 13 minutes. Let me say this again: a game I paid to remove ads is forcing a timer on the player. This is crazy!
LIFE CHANGING
I was once addicted to methamphetamines and beating my kids but when I downloaded war tortoise it lead me on a holy path of righteousness. This game showed me that life was priceless and shouldn’t be wasted I now have a greater purpose and I love my kids my ex wife is begging to get back together but I can’t because she doesn’t play war tortoise. I believe Christ himself lead me to this game and showed me a greater path. I have since abandoned pornography and am the owner of Coca Cola and I owe it all to war tortoise
Ads mechanism is broken
Tldr: too many unskippable loud ads for a very low amount of content. Don’t bother. I initially thought the game was interesting but every time you open it - there’s unskippable ad. You have to check your email? Ad. Answer a text? Ad. Make a short call? Ad. And then the ads just lead to more ads when you try to close it (and run with sound even though my phone is set to silent). After 4 ads running one after another when all I wanted was a quick game, I couldn’t take it anymore and deleted the game.
Fun and thoughtful
Although rather linear in its deployment it offers a lot of fun and a challenging escalation with the ability to upgrade on the fly. The potential to make it even better is there but for what it is, it's a game worth having!

Real character to this. IAP for sure, but I've yet to hit a paywall Edit: ok, paywall starts at lv 7 with wait-timers Would rather have the option to pay for the game to remove wait timers and ads which are quite intrusive at times. I'm not going to be nickel and dimed into progressive payments. Shame.

I was thoroughly enjoying this game, and even putting up with the ads that popped up every now and then. However, some stupid game ad about making doughnuts just would not go away, no matter how much I tapped the ‘X’, which basically broke the game. I have uninstalled it.

Get the ads working correctly and it would be an excellent game
This game would be excellent if the ads actually ran correctly. You have to watch an ad before you even start to play, then to double your money as a perk you watch an ad, it crashes and you either watch it all again and/ or lose all your money. If the ads ran correctly I would pay for this but until this is resolved it is very frustrating that can take up to 3 or 4 minutes before you gain access to actually play

I had this game for a long time and I it has never ceases to bore me which is amazing. It simple mechanics is unrivaled and it’s one of those under the radar games. It just a plain war game and I’m a feen for gunshots sooo this my game.

Love endless wave defence but after a few hours playing you can just leave it in auto play and it's just the same thing, passed level 200 and it's pointless. Great game leading up to that wish the enemy's changed or there was more boss battles
An unexpected error has occurred
This is a lot more fun than you'd think. I don't usually complain about lack of adds, but they supposedly get you perks, all I get is the unexpected error however. I like the cute add-ons and the auto function. Would like some movement options and more sniper ammo though!

This is a really addicting game, with a unique progress and upgrade system and a range of enemies to defeat. There are also many way of playing the game; purchase personal upgrades to your guns and armour, or recruit towers and squads of allies to do the work for you. Really fun game.

Ok, so if you're reading this, foursaken, I must congratulate you. The graphics, the premise, the animals... Everything about this game is top-notch. Heck, it doesn't have a PLOT and I enjoy it (I have come up with one in my imagination though, but I must digress)! But my only complaint is the lack of reptilian allies. Sure, there is another tortoise, but that's about it. This is a personal request from me: can you add some new reptilian allies with your next update? Heck, you could add a velociraptor hero or something! A personal preference from me, though. That's all that was. But still, a spectacular game and thanks for making it for all to play.

It's addictive but for a short time. I was hoping to have moving ability thou. Your stuck in one spot aiming the gun. No shoot button. Just aim. Around 420 is a good time to play. Lol 😎
