Rocks My Amadeus
I fell in love with this little synth app on day one of it’s release! Did anyone else notice how it’s a Moog Voyager in disguise? The frequency split does some really cool stereo-affecty-deeliohoo that trips with my mind. Of course, I paid for it! Now that it unbelievably FREE you’re insane if you have yet to add it to your arsenal of sound making kit. It works flawlessly, has a small footprint, and when using multiple instances in Cubasis, GarageBand, Logic Pro, LoopyPro, etc. you can produce a fully polished composition from kick to sizzle, it’s brilliant. Now GO MAKE SOME NOISE! :-)

I can’t seem to open this app with GarageBand... I searched up ways to do it on the net, but nothing. Please help.

Great sound, problems with presets
Using this in GarageBand version 2.3.15 on my iPad Pro iOS 17.1.2 This app is frustrating because it sounds awesome and the presets are amazing, but for some reason the presets only show up maybe 10% of the time I start a new track. The other 90% of the time it just says “default” or “preset” but when I click on it there’s just an empty window where the preset library should be. Sometimes the presets will work on a track but when I click back in to choose a new one they mysteriously disappear. It’s too bad because I really want to use this app but the inconsistency of the preset library is making it untenable for use. Devs do you have any advice? I’ve deleted and reinstalled, powered on and off: still having the same issue.
What do i do?
So i go into my plugin in Garageband like i always do when i need a plugin, but it shows all the plugins i downloaded besides this one. I need help

Says in the manual that it’s fully compatible with GarageBand and it’s an audio extension unit. So where is it?

Sans effet ni séquenceur, ce synthé sonne très bien , est en auv3, et surtout n’est pas trop gourmand!!! Idéal comme synthé de basse quand à côté un autre bouffe le cpu.

Good Sound, Needs Preset Browser
Sounds like a good V.I. Needs a proper preset browser - desperately! On my big iPad Pro you can see about 8 presets. Choose one and the browser auto-closes. Say the patch name starts "Strings". To try the next patch, you have to reopen the browser, and then scroll back down the alphabet from the top to almost the bottom of the list - every time! No one would put up with this on a desktop. Please Blamsoft , a real browser that 1. Is bigger 2. has columns & a way to get directly to one category - e.g., to Pads 3. stays open until you close it 4. and, ideally, has a way to tag patches as 'Favourites'

When you can save and load presets You have to program every single sound you use for this, which is too old school really. I know it has to have presets but you can NOT access them in my two host programs?! It has been a year...the dev was told about the issue...they placed some blame, didn’t fix the app. I love some other apps by this developer but I’m erasing this one as it is useless in bm3. I took away a star from two because this is the only auv3 synth i ever owned that couldnt display presets in beatmaker3. The developer below insists this is all there is as a solution...so if you use beatmaker3 you will find viking synth lacking presets. I will change this if the app updates and fixes. Like i said dont have this problem with any other plug.
Good synth
I was a bit confused at first as you get the manual on screen when you tap on the program icon. You have to open it up in a DAW. Otherwise a good synth. I like how it’s been put into sections which, in my opinion, makes it easier to use (though I can see it how it might annoy other users). I give it a good solid 8/10.

Ne marche qu'en hôte AU. Ok j'avais compris, mais même avec cubasis cité dans la description, impossible de voir les pressets ou de sauvegarder quoi que ce soit ! Il faut reprendre tout les réglages de synth à chaque ouverture du projet = injouable en l'état A revoir, merci.

Killer Bass sounds
Holy crap, loaded this up in AUM and was not expecting to be blown away with a holy grail of bass goodness. This should be on the top bass synths. Hidden gem for sure, There are so many presets it will blow your mind and some are giving my mood Minotaur vibes. Negative reviews seems to be from folks looking for a standalone synth which this is not. You need AUM or midibus.

This isn't a stand alone synth!!!
Before you buy this an try launching it as a stand alone, it isn't a stand alone, you'll just see the manual. You'll need to use it with an app that supports Audi Units, like Cubasis, AUM or Auria Pro, etc. as for the synth itself, it's a great synth, but I suggest get the developers other apps to add fx, which is very reasonable imo. I won't go into detail about features since you can read them in the app description, but it does have a lot of great things to offer. The only thing I wish it had was polyphony, which would really make this a must have. I like what's going with this company and iOS music apps, audio unit support is the new frontier and developers need to start implementing it in their iOS music apps. Edit: ok, I’m removing a star because when I’m using it in Beatmaker 3 or GarageBand I can’t access the presets. Sometimes I don’t want to start from scratch to get a sound, I want to save my presets and access them from any DAW that host audio units, not just some.
No Presets
I owned 2 model D Mini's back in the day, and recorded and gigged with them extensively all through the 70's and 80's. Though never having owned the Voyager, I have used them studio side. This apps UI reminds me nothing of a Voyager. Sonically its not bad, but running it as an AU plugin in Garage Band, Auria, and Cubasis, I cannot for the life of me find a preset option ANYWHERE. In this day and age of me too soft synths you gotta not only sound good, but also be user friendly. If the developer makes accessing presets a reality in the 3 major IOS Daws I'll upgrade my rating. Other wise its collecting virtual dust. Updated: Ok I found the presets in Garage Band, but in cubasis and Auria, two of the most widely used IOS DAWs, and both of who support AU, you still cant access presets. This is a shame as Viking Synth actually sounds pretty good. If the developer fixes the app so it will work in these popular DAWs I'll upgrade my rating again.
Versatile FREE monosynth
This synth is can generate gnarly bass tones. It’s my starter bass in my AUM projects right now. It can do acid tones, but more laid back stiff, too. It has a versatile filter section that sounds great. It’s versatile without being cumbersome. Generally, it’s straightforward and easy to use. AND, every parameter can be automated via MIDI. Pair this with some LFO’s to add some tonal variations and “spice” on repetitive basslines.
Only a manual downloaded!!!!
Am I missing something? I downloaded this thinking it was an iOS app to be used with a DAW. All that I got was am manual describing it. I tried deleting it and reloading it with the same results.

Im having difficulty.
I know how to use the plugins, but this one does not seem to show up on GarageBand. All the other Blamsoft plugins show up.
