Exceptional Care
I have been a patient of Dr. Rellas for many years and have always been impressed by his knowledge and genuine concern for me. Now that he is a concierge provider, the level of personalized care he is able to peovide has been exceptional. I know he takes the time to truly understand my needs and provide thoughtful guidance. As I enter my later years, I feel incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Rellas in my corner. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for outstanding, patient-centered care.

Support with spruce health is timely and efficient! I feel confident that my secure messaging within the app is HIPPA compliant and user friendly for clients. I’m grateful for being able to have other options for email etc.
No search function
Would be much better if it has a search function. So difficult to look back at convos and all you can do is scroll.
Helpful app for communication
I like the portal feature to message physicians. So far, it’s been a helpful app. I would like to see improvements with having a search feature to search out keywords in the portal so I can easily access info from past months.
Hidden caveats for Canadians, after you’re interested
Features and price seem reasonable. After spending time reading and comparing the available info, I decided to do final tests on reception clarity for calls etc. I was met with the following caveats as I am Canadian. None of this is available on the website info, which is the reason for the 2* review. Feels disingenuous, wasted hours of my time as these include obvious dealbreakers for me, and these seem to be well known but intentionally left off of the available information. I can’t begin a relationship with a company I can’t trust. — **Calling out using your mobile** When you make calls through Spruce, we use your personal cell phone's carrier minutes to make the call. We do this by calling a third-party number to disguise your personal cell number and show your Spruce number to your callers. When the system does this, it calls a U.S.-based number, so you will incur U.S.-based long-distance charges if your personal cell phone does not have free calling to the U.S. We are adding internet calling from the cell phones at some point in the near future so check back with us. You can use Spruce VoIP phones, which use the internet, so they would not have the same long-distance fees. This is available on the Communicator plan only. Anyone who calls your Spruce number will call a local number, so long-distance charges will not apply. This process will apply whether you port in your local number or we get you a new Spruce number. **SMS outbound texting restrictions** Due to new regulations regarding SMS texting, you must be a registered business with our system to send outbound SMS texts. Canada's regulations differ from the U.S. and cannot be done as easily, so we often see issues with this approval process. If you want to send SMS texts, you will need a Provincial or Federal Corporation/Registry ID Number. Without that, we cannot register your account and do not recommend using our product now. **HIPAA + Canadian security laws** We don't have any policy on Canadian law or regulation for privacy and security. However, we follow HIPAA guidelines and have completed the SOC 2 Type II audit.
No way to search texts
With a 13 yr old company they should have an option for to search for key words in the text chat area.

Great way to communicate with your doctor and their assistants. Amazing app!
So many glitches
The intake took 4 separate attempts. Had to re enter info multiple times on the same screen. Got to the end and had to restart. Nothing saved even though I’m logged in. If you select “no” for something, it still requires all the info as though you hit yes. It also asks for the same info over and over again. You got my birthday on the first of 10 pages, why doesn’t it autofill?

I highly recommend Lucido Family Medicine Dr Jessica Cicoria and the Spruce app if you're looking for a great doctor that listens and works with you and provides real time communication through the Spruce app.
Can’t send messages to half my clients
I can’t send text messages to half my clients. I’m definitely looking into an alternative

I’ve always wanted an app that allowed me to reach out to my dr immediately instead of always having to login to a portal. Great for texting and video chatting.
